History:
Ohahira was born in the jungle with five other sisters. Her mother had an obvious favoritism for her sister Tarajia for resembling her lost brother Banji, but as long as they were together, Ohahira was unbothered by it. Out of her entire family, she was closet to her older sister Nyumbani, who unlike her, craved her mothers approval and wanted to be an equal to Tarajia in her eyes.
Nyumbani was the only one to see a different side of her for some time. The side most did see was a 'drama queen', and her 'plays' made most of the family peg her as stupid. In truth, an injured paw early on taught Ohahira that woes and strife brought families closer, so she attempted to make drama to keep them all together.
It worked for a while, or at least she thought it did. Then, her mother became very stressed, and even her laid back father seemed a bit on edge. Ohahira attributed this to the two of them having to take care of six daughters. Having been told of prides by her mother, Ohahira snuck away from her family to find one.
She came across a Goddesss named Kiva who granted her family permission to join a pride known as the 'Unity Walkers'. Ohahira was in a state of relief and worry-free. Sadly, neither would last long.
It had been only a few calm weeks since they'd become part of the Unity Walkers that Nyumbani and Ohahira stumbled across Banji. Ohahira herself was unsure of what to do, but Nyumbani offered to bring Banji back to their mother, his sister, and he agreed. As a result of his return, Tarajia left. Nyumbani followed after her, trying to convince her to come back, and ended up getting lost herself.
Hasana was crushed. Ohahira was enraged. She voweled to get revenge on Tara for what she had done, but didn't want to leave her remaining family. Eventually, Hasana instructed her to leave under the belief Ohahira could find the tight-knit family she truly wanted out in the world, not in the Unity Walkers. Ohahira misunderstood her actions. She was convinced Hasana no longer wanted any of her daughters now that Tarajia was gone, and that she was telling them to leave one by one, starting with her.
With the fire of hatred tired Tarajia fueled, Ohahira left, convinced her Banji-look-alike sister was to blame for breaking the family apart. Aimless wandering followed for many months. Having very little hunting skills, Ohahira began to teach herself, eventually becoming not just an average but amazing hunter. Still, she couldn't locate Tarajia.
In fact, she would find Nyumbani again first, along with a Goddess named Mwokoti. While her sister slept, Ohahira had a conversation with Mwokoti, and discovered she was the mother to Hasana's best friend Nishan, who they had met as cubs back at the jungle. Soon after, Nyumbani awoke, and Ohahira announced her intention to track down Tarajia and make her pay. Nyumbani was horrified, and took off to find Tara first. To both warn and protect her.
Mwokoti was concerned that her son would get drug into the chaos. Just as Ohahira blamed Tarajia for the family problems, Mwokoti blamed Ohahira for any potential her son faced. Rather than curse her, she decided to betray her instead. Ohahira had demanded she find Tara. Mwokoti claimed Tara had been found in the Firekin.
Knowing minimal facts about the pride, Ohahira still sensed something was wrong with the story. The slightest chance she might find Tara was too much to pass up, though, so she followed the Goddess into the Firekin where she was giving to a pride member named Uzulu. Enraged by the betrayal, she tried to go after the betrayer herself, only to be pounced on by Uzulu.
She soon after met Mpaji, who she had offspring with due to a demand by Uzulu for more slaves for his sons.
Personality: Those who thought Ohahira was annoying before would wish for her old self back if they met her today. Those who thought she was complicated would wish she would return to being just complicated instead of vicious and complicated like she is now.
The destruction of her family, betrayal of Mwokoti and being enslaved all put together have, over time, caused Ohahira to lose her grip on many things; sanity, reality and even herself. While her original intention for trying to hunt down her sister was for 'breaking' the family, she no longer really thinks of the reason, and instead just wants to see her dead for the sake of it.
The attack by Uzulu has left her with scars and permanent back problems, thus she has learned not to toy with the Firekin. Her built up rage is instead taken out on anything she kills while hunting. If not that, then on her own children. The Ohahira that once wished for nothing more than family togetherness has been driven away.
