Name: Mushkeli Meaning: Obscurity Nickname: --- Color: #336699 Colorist: Dark Fire Angel From: ??? x Bast Siblings: --- Mate: --- Offspring: Viraji, Sitiri, Takadamu, Xia Hua, Salima, Upinzani Obtained: Custom Nov 09 Pride: --- Position: --- Temporary Powers: The Obscure - More of a punishment for those this power is used on, an individual will have trouble seeing and understanding others; everything would become sort of dark and dim, and hard to see, but not to a drastically hindering extent.
Take Me Under Your Wings - Getting under Mushkeli's very large wingspan will completely hide an individual, silence their noise, and make their scent disappear to anyone outside of it, and Mushkeli can stretch and enlarge his wings if he willed to cover anyone under it. Multiple animals can be under it at the same time, but it would then be difficult to move (as whoever is under Mushkeli's wings would have to move along with him to keep hidden).
Shrouded in Darkness - A metaphorical fog makes it so that those within it are not seen right away, or are hard to notice. Those unaffected by it don't see haze or anything, but just find it difficult to discern the affected individuals, especially if they are not directly seeking them. Wherever Mushkeli is present, an area around him is susceptible to this power; the range depends on how Mushkeli is feeling at the moment - if he is carefree about his surroundings, an individual would have to stand right next to him for the effect to occur. If Mushkeli is particularly moody, the range can go up to one mile. Mushkeli can remove this from affecting an individual if he wishes, and the effect is amplified when it is dark. Mushkeli is always subject to this, so in order for him to be seen, he has to be revealing himself on purpose. Permanent Power: Lost in Obscurity - Either a curse or blessing depending on what the individual makes of it, Mushkeli can put a spell on an object, place, individual or group of individuals and their descendants that makes them almost completely obscure to others. Their memory is nearly lost to the outside world, and seem vague if brought up; it is akin to erasing the target's existence, except that it still exists, technically, and is not fully gone to those who know about them. However, a cursed individual cannot interact with others because they cannot be perceived; this goes so far as to limit interactions with living, sentient organisms, so a lion under this would have to survive off of plants, vegetation, or scavenge dead bodies, as hunting is ineffective. Only Mushkeli can see, hear, and interact with them. If and when he lifts the curse, all effects of this are gone, but others would not realize that they have mentally suppressed memories of what was cursed. Bio: Dark, foreboding, though at times even welcoming, Mushkeli, the god of obscurity has never had to make his presence well known - though his domain is that of what should be unknown, his very large form and brooding visage would leave an impressive display to any passing wanderer. That is, he is only visible when he is not compelled to use his powers. He is easily twice the size of an average lion, so without his powers, it would be difficult to escape notice. While he will never be accustomed to company, he is indifferent mostly on whether he is seen or not. History: Born to and only knowing of his mother Bast, the goddess of night, Mushkeli never knew his father--the only thing in the earthly world be obscured from obscurity himself. Since he was an infant, the only one Mushkeli ever preferred to be in company with was his mother. Because of her domain, he could only spend a portion of the days with her, however, and so it can be said that he raised himself to maturation.
Mushkeli more or less had a full grasp of his powers since he was a cub, but never really provided it for anything aside from himself. Despite what he learned of affection and caring for mortals, especially since they fueled their powers, Mushkeli still proceeded growing up through life without hesitating to give someone else a second glance. While he is not a complete recluse, he trained himself to not bother with most of the world, which became a habit. While he does not remember existences before this one, he does not care to, nor does he try to remember or find pieces of it.
As Mushkeli grew into adulthood and saw less of his mother, he slowly began actually interacting with those who passed by, though it was still rarely. He didn't need complete loneliness in his life. It was then that he met a goddess who would be of significance in his life.
Nalini, the goddess of culture, wasn't something he would have called love at first sight; he was still lacking in emotional breadth when he met her. But as she continued to cross paths with him, he began to feel a bond build between the two. He felt that she accepted and saw beyond his dominating silence, and then felt a desire to know more about her. He then began acting cordially with her, something that he had never done before. Nalini, if anything, could be called Mushkeli's first true friend.
Of course, this friendship progressed into something more. Though Mushkeli and Nalini were near opposites, one finding solace in solitude with the other drawing pleasure from social interaction, they grew to love each other. And as Mushkeli learned about Nalini and the forces driving her existence, he grew attached to his pillar to life; she made him realize the fascination drawn from everything thriving on the mortal realm. So as the two grew fonder together with each passing day, they more or less became unspoken mates.
The two were a perfect duo; they completed each other, filled the other with an aspect they had less of, and they even matched appearance-wise, with Mushkeli being larger than the normal god as well as Nalini. Soon, Nalini found herself heavily pregnant, and the two were happy with the idea of raising many big and strong cubs.
When they had the cubs, Nalini named and nurtured for them all while Mushkeli provided security on the mortal realm with his powers. The cubs weren't very old, however, when they disappeared, along with their mother. Mushkeli, left alone, could only despair as he was obscured from his own children and his mate. It was as if his mate had used his own trick on him.
Months passed before Mushkeli heard anything from his children or his mate again. Takadamu, Mushkeli's third child, used his powers of navigation to seek out his father, and brought his siblings along. Apparently, Nalini had simply left; there was no explanation, nor could Mushkeli be willed to find her again. With his cubs still relatively young but strong and able, they still could not comprehend the breaking of their parents' relationship. Mushkeli, unreconciled, simply let it go, having been used to letting go of emotions for the majority of his life. He was heartbroken, but shielded it from his children and everyone else, reverting back to the apathetic and brooding soul he was before Nalini.
He became more distant with his children, but still provided whatever they needed, if they did; however, he knew they were well capable enough of taking care of themselves or looking after each other, especially with the strong blood running in them. Because they are reminders to him of the crushing milestone of his life, he could no longer be even vaguely playful, kind, or heartfelt anymore; he simply displayed his role as a father by being there if anyone needed it. Otherwise, he began the habit of remaining in solitude, wandering by himself, once more.

History: Haji had been roaming the rogue lands with a few of his siblings ever since they were old enough to fend for themselves. After a time, he felt like his independence was rather overrated and he was anxious to learn of his parents' whereabouts. Upon hearing that his father, Unzu, was wandering deeper in the swamplands near the place their family started, he ventured alone to the pride to seek his parents out, wishing to be reunited and settle down with them.

Name: Jibwa'kumbo Meaning: Large dog of destruction Nickname: --- Color: #243c78 Colorist: Lithia_Brandon From: --- Siblings: --- Mate: --- Offspring: --- Obtained: Custom Mar 10 Pride: --- Position: --- Bio: Built with a very tall and robust body, Jibwa'kumbo is indeed a large and fierce wild dog, living up to his name. His soul burns with a fiery force and his bite is bigger than his bark, as well as intense. When Jibwa'kumbo bites, he is an expert in gripping and clamping down to his opponent's bones, able to leave a very enduring mark. He is very fascinated by fighting, and thus readily trained himself with dedication since birth to hone his battle skills. He can easily make threats and stand by them, very knowledgeable but slightly overestimating of his own skills. Jibwa'kumbo is also very proud and boastful, sometimes unable to hold his mouth.
Jibwa'kumbo's aggression is innate and unable to be quelled, but with his sense of loyalty, he makes a good guard in protecting his pack or friends. Despite his forceful and fiery behavior, he is also quite intelligent, understanding of circumstances encountered from battles to simple interactions. His technique in the battlefield is focused despite his thirst for blood, and he can maneuver his way around well with his rather slim build. Alert to even the slightest cues, Jibwa'kumbo is not one easily fooled or tricked into defeat.
Because he is headstrong, he would never back down from a fight or from protecting that which is dear to him, even if it meant a great cost to him. History: Fighting was the way of life for Jibwa'kumbo since he was born to a pack and family of fearsome wild dogs like him.

Name: Uhodari Meaning: Excellence Nickname: - Color: #ffba00 Colorist: Dark Fire Angel From: Sakata x Jini'chongo Siblings: Mfuondoka, Ala'koikoi, Kali'ari, Penzi'iko Uumizi, Kitisho, Jadi'Aushi, Damurasha, Nafsi'takasa, Dabiku'nafsi, Roho'cheka, Jasiri'mkono, Baba'tani, Hifadhi'zimwi, Usharifu, Mbeleni, Palia, Ficha'pepo Mate: --- Offspring: --- Obtained: Contest (breeding) Apr 10 Pride: Mizimu'Tungika Position: Royal Sacrifice Bio: Already born with a name full of latent implications of promise and potential, Uhodari is easily enticed into focusing intently on his training as well as disciplining himself to go beyond what is expected. His demeanor appears cold to some because he is silent most of the time; that is only because he speaks more when he believes it will get him somewhere, and doesn't understand the notion of idle banter without purpose.
Uhodari very easily puts on a fierce facade in front of others so that "weak" or "unworthy" would be terms least likely associated with him, as he is very afraid of having that occur. He is a quiet observer, raised into easy obedience by those in higher power, but has morals that would inhibit his thoughts to sabotage others. However, he is not against gaining advantages through other methods not involving sinister means, such as hard work and good diplomatic skills, however he could achieve those. History: The second litter of the royal Mizimu'Tungika pair came fresh after the great war had ended. Their mother, Jini'chongo, had been subdued by all the stress and pressure put on during the war, and so Uhodari was raised by almost entirely his father, Sakata. Sakata made sure that his litter was well trained from the start, as it was clear that two of them would be chosen to be the Vates and Queen of the pride. The rest, as usual, would be slated to become royal sacrifices. Though Uhodari was born with an older identical twin, all of their litter was considered special and able to succeed the throne. While all the cubs were ready to be fulfill whatever role they were chosen to be, it was evident that it was a competition between them all.
Uhodari respected his siblings, though he was able to see the "who's best" game placed on them. As a result, Uhodari became quick to follow strict orders or going through with trials to prove his worth. However, he became a insecure about the path he was striving for and how exactly he would be able to accomplish being picked as Vates. He had a strong bond with his identical twin, Usharifu, and questioned who was the stronger twin. If one of them was chosen to become Vates, how would the other one feel? Their connection was practically psychic. This gave him much conflict as a youth, as well as his twin. Together, however, they were able to go through childhood without much other problems, and became strong and intelligent.
Disaster struck soon after Uhodari left childhood, however. Before anyone knew what was happening, a plague had struck the Mizimu'Tungika and left the pride in disarray and chaos. Many members died on the spot, and the ones left over simply disappeared. Uhodari was left alone, though he clawed ferociously through the dead bodies to find his twin. The plague did not affect him, but the hours of searching eventually tired him out, and he had to leave the lands for good. He had declared his identical twin dead.
Anguished from the dismal, hollow feeling, he stumbled upon Nafsi'takasa, and stuck to her like glue. He was scared, as the magnitude of the situation had a great effect on him; he felt very, very alone, but was grateful to the spirits that Nafsi'takasa at least had survived and found him. The situation seemed to switch around; whereas before, Uhodari had full grasp of his situations and faced them with eager and calculated situation. Right after this event, Uhodari grew withdrawn and simply depressed.
Nafsi'takasa had taken a more active role in leading the two. As the two roamed aimlessly through the lands, she had even brightened up Uhodari enough to make him resemble more like his normal self. The two joked around about being the final contenders to become Queen and Vates, as they were the only children left from their litter they knew to be alive. Their presence as they walked around the rogue lands emitted just that feeling; they still had a pompous, royal air about them.

Name: Kibahaluli Meaning: Torch Nickname: Kiba, Luli Color: #ff9900 Colorist: Dark Fire Angel From: --- Siblings: --- Mate: --- Offspring: --- Obtained: Custom May 10 Pride: --- Position: --- Bio: Like her name implies, Kibahaluli is quite the torch herself, enjoying setting situations ablaze with intensity and riling others up as she is riled up herself. Sometimes she is malicious in her thoughts, but would not act out of pure evil or malice. She has some sense of justice that is often tainted by emotions, but strives to be loyal and dedicated to those she deems worthy of respect. Kibahaluli is also rather full of life, always flickering through the lands awaiting a challenging spar. In this way, she would also work hard, never stopping to take a rest or be idle.
Kibahaluli is strong and proud of her heritage and herself, sometimes to the extent of requiring others to address her properly with implied importance and esteem. While not easy to befriend or get along with or even joke around with, Kibahaluli does act congenial if it is towards a greater good, such as teaching a cub how to fend for itself, or collaborating to take down an enemy. Her stern nature has kept her quite zealous in keeping shape and sharp, and her no-nonsense attitude allows her to think clearly without hesitance to make a firm decision. History: Motoujamii-Safi, the traditional Firekin lands, was where Kibahaluli found her home in to two standard traditionalist parents. She was born before the turmoil came in the original whole lands of the Motoujamii, and sided with her parents and the traditionalists as a youth when the split came because of the rebels led by Kidondo and No. Because of her strict upbringing, Kibahaluli will always be of a traditional mindset. When the traditionalists fell, Kibahaluli fled with her parents into the rogue lands. Her family had been divided many ways, and she soon found herself lost from the chaos and stubborn angers of the traditionalists. She, too, was angered by the exile of her kind but was able to cope in the savanna wandering by herself, waiting...
Kibahaluli found the loss of her community devastating and tragic, beginning a belief that any kind with Firekin blood was better than the simple rogues she kept running into through the unclaimed lands. By the time she grew into an adult, she had let go of some parts of the past and hoped to seek the land of her ancestors once more, even if they were riddled with new faces and blood now. At least there would still be some traces of her powerful heritage left. Thus, she journeyed to the Motoujamii-Simo to regain as much of her old life as possible.
Along her travel to where she knew her ancestral lands laid, she met the remnants of a pride called the Hongshan and learned about their past from their present leader, Nawvlee. She was intrigued by their history, considered their strength that they told and displayed to match the Firekin's own, and was reminded of her own exodus from her lands. She respected their story and realized they were headed in the same direction as her, and so followed along to perhaps vouch for their strength or help them in their struggle until she was back home.

Name: Alona Meaning: Oak tree Nickname: --- Color: #7a9998 Colorist: Ary Keeyara From: --- Siblings: Rotem Mate: --- Offspring: --- Obtained: RP contest May 10 Pride: En Gedi Position: Advisor? Bio: Selfless and understanding, but perhaps even-tempered to the point of being too solemn and earnest at times, Alona has throughout her life been an example of self-control. Her respect for order and harmony arises from being the responsible firstborn of her litter as well as simply being a daughter of the En Gedi's king and queen. While she reserves time to indulge in more trivial matters in life, like chattering away about things that wouldn't matter the next day, or fooling around in flowering fields, she would rather spend her days relaxing in serene areas, favoring the calmness it brings. That doesn't mean she won't be caught a couple of times dancing to the occasional rhythmic beats of nature, though. Alona is as easily content by herself as she is in the company of many others, but is the type to silently and happily observe, wishing to not judge others definitively until she has more insight. Through this, she strives to be objective and admits the times she runs into bias - one of which is her valued relationship to Rotem, which she concedes will never dissipate.
Alona's independent nature has kept her chaste in all ways, though it is also in part a result of a passive, steady demeanor. Others would note her for being more serious than how she should act, but Alona remains steadfast in manner in hopes of fulfilling some moral obligation.
Like the firm and strong trees she was named for, Alona is herself staunch and unyielding to adversary. History: Born the oldest of the same litter as Rotem, Alona was quite the opposite of what he appeared to be - her soft eyes and smaller body served as a balance to her youngest brother's presentation. Despite this, she favored him like their father and encouraged his zealousness brimming with potential, partially due to feeling protective and meaningful as the eldest of the litter. Even as cubs, she had looked up to Rotem, being the largest of the group and more determined in character. Like the name given to her during their Rite of Birth, Alona had already exhibited signs of inner strength and fortitude her parents correctly predicted in naming her.
Growing out of childhood, she observed Rotem's many spars with Eyal, always holding back the worry that either would come out harmed for the worse. During this time, the two's Rites of Passage had taken place, and Alona found herself a wounded vulture who quickly caught her compassion. As the vulture, Nir, wasn't severely wounded, she was able to take flight again, but wished to remain with Alona, her caretaker and newfound friend.
As the years progressed and she and Rotem grew up, the two were young adults, and Alona retained her hopes that Rotem would be chosen as successor. She then began to realize the more serious undertones of Rotem's spars. After the excitement of the fight that determined rights to the throne, Alona acknowledged Adara to be more than suitable for her younger brother and warmly embraced her as family. When time still went by, she was also a comforting shoulder for the couple when most of their first cubs succumbed to ill fate. And when it came time to step up after their father's death, though saddened by the loss yet glad that he lived a good and peaceful life, she was assured that her brother would make the next ruling years great and hopeful. Through her years of unbending support for Rotem, Alona was able to fit into the role of advisor very well; her calm, fair, impartial outlook on matters aided this duty.

Name: Akram'raja Meaning: Most generous hope/prayer Nickname: Raja Color: #cc3366 Colorist: Ary Keeyara, Ameh From: Tariq'ra'd x Orah Siblings: Mirsajadi, Sioned, Rayhan, Omaran Mate: Korofi-uzulu, Naheed, Lililamuna Offspring: Kaveh'Aziz, Shirina, Azizam, Husni, Jalal, Jalil (Lililamuna); Samirah, Rasima'sahar, Inam'ul Haqq, Asmar, Akhzar, Zeitun (Jazua'Dania) Obtained: Custom (breeding) May 10 Pride: Ukuucha'Wafalme Position: Youth Bio: Aspiring to be as authoritative and powerful as his idolized father (the way he sees it), Akram'raja acts ruthlessly and arrogant not only towards girls, but others as well; he is overconfident of his prominence, bordering on narcissism. Akram'raja is also haughty, and not one to trifle with because he is easily angered if things aren't going his way. However, he has a soft spot for his mother. Even though he sees her spacey, unrealistically naive nature, he has grown throughout the years to be overprotective of her, seeing her "strangeness" something he should help with, though this case of compassion is an exception to the way he treats everyone else. In a way, he pities his mother's clueless, soft, and seemingly powerless nature. This manifested into the belief that all females need to be directed or else they can't survive on their own.
Power is something that Akram'raja likes very much, in no matter which shape or form. He feels as if he had been imbued with power himself since birth, as he had grown to be rather large, built, and strong - more so than most of his siblings - although he would say he was born stronger than all of them. His seer abilities also make him perceive himself as being more powerful than others.
His visions tell of opportunities he will run into, or past happenings of lessons he could learn in dealing with others. Akram'raja's visions come and go mostly in dreams, though there have been the occasional daydream when he was lounging around idly. As his abilities manifested at a young age, he took full advantage of them; he saw his past selves showing too much kindness and leniency for his taste because of his dissatisfaction of present results, so would promise himself to be more strict with others. Upon hitting adolescence, Akram'raja started having visions of females in his life - the females that would become his banu in the future. He would then meet these banu coincidentally and know that it was time to take them with him. History: blahblah born,

Name: Silimeteka Meaning: Shiny seal Nickname: Sili Color: #f6b4ff Colorist: Meepfur From: Ataruka x Nerissa Siblings: Gofu Mate: --- Offspring: --- Obtained: Trivia Jun 10 Pride: --- Position: --- Bio: Entertained by most things in nature, Silimeteka is an odd one, sometimes acting as a source of amusement herself. She is instinctively prone to enjoy being in crowds or groups, and is warm and friendly to all that she meets. Quite energetic as well, she enjoys travelling and simply going to places - she has often found herself passing by multiple region in a day alone. Though she is part leopard, she prefers open ground and wide spaces, and would never attempt to climb and wander through trees; her larger frame also keeps her from being nimble to do so.
Silimeteka, as a traveler, has a passion for chatting with anything that comes her way. She is, in a way, nosy, and thirsts to know more about everyone and everything around her.
