Personality:
Isi is a happy-go-lucky psycho. She's lost nearly all of her marbles, and an attention span that can easily sit in a teaspoon. She understands little of the real world and often uses completely backwords logic to work things out in her head. Despite her mental setback, she's one of the most optimistic maned wolves you'll ever come across. Everything is met with a smile, even if her eyes seem a little glazed over and far away at times. She's dainty, picking out where she steps carefully as to not step on any plant life. The only time that she looses this special care is when she's eating; she'll devour her meal in an almost vicious manner, and splatter the surrounding area with her mess. She's also always careful to leave the remains in plain sight for heynas and vutlures, two creatures she's fond of.
History:
When Isi was newly weaned from her mother's milk, the family went on a little hunting trip that ended bad. She had wandered away from the group, as she always did. This time, however, while she was exploring her own little world, a stampede happened. To this day, no one is sure who exactly caused it, as there were several hunting parties in the area. However it happened, though, it seperated Isi from her family forever. While wandering around in the aftermath, she stumbled along a little waterbuck with the same colorings as her. Being the daft creature that she is, Isi was easily convinced that the waterbuck was a maned wolf. From that moment, the pair adopted eachother and have looked after eachother since.

Personality:
Um is very tradition bound, attached to the old ways and ceremonies of his pride. He believes that it is not only a male’s right to become a Shujaa (warrior in Mteo), but their responsibility both to the pride and its traditions. He also believes all able females should become Msakas (huntresses in Mteo), and so might come off as a little sexist when he comes across a healthy lioness who isn’t hunting. Let’s just say, if he were human, he’d be making looots of kitchen jokes. =P If a critter isn’t able to assist the pride in the traditional ways, Um strongly believes they need to find a way to make themselves useful. Everything in one’s power must be done for the good of the pride. He takes this to the extreme, never pleasing himself, only the pride. The most important thing in his life is pleasing the group, and it over shadows everything else, including friendliness and later on in his life, love.
Aside from his slight obsession with always making sure things are good for the group, Um is a chivalrous little boy, putting anyone and everyone ahead of himself. He is also always honest, even brutally so. He feels that honesty is ALWAYS the best policy, even if it the occasion calls for a little white lie. This could give him the image of being a bit on the cruel side, but he only does it because he feels the pride deserves the truth. He also has a fear of water, which he keeps secret from /everyone/. Shujaa should be fearless, right? To sum it up, he’s a bit of a gentlemen with a knack for telling hurtful truths who thrives on tradition and his pride.

Personality:
Shemshi is a firm believer in magic. She thinks that spirits have an influence on everything that happens in the world, from the wind blowing to the actions lions take. She also believes that light meditation will help lions tap into the spirits and will help them become more in sync with their wishes, which will lead to a happier life. Her faith in this concept is unfaltering, despite the lack of evidence for the spirits' existance. This faith carries over into other areas of life; she often places a great deal of trust in those she knows, even if they haven't done anything spectacular to earn it. She always sees the good in every creature and is quick to give second, third, fourth, etc. chances, even if the creature doesn't deserve it. It's a sort of sweet thing to do, but can easily be taken advantage of. Even if that were to happen, she'd probably just come up with some exscuse for whomever it was and give them another chance.
Shemshi is also very imaginative. She loves to play make believe and come up with little histories and personalities for rocks, trees and other plants. In her mind, they have little stories that she makes up to fit what they look like and what they look like they've been through. Her love for stories doesn't stop there; she also enjoys listening to other lions tell stories, especially around bed time. ;D

Personality: Chafi's regal for a hare. She has a deep pride that's not easily injured, though she doesn't neccesarily flaunt it. She doesn't easily take help from others, though, due to her proud nature. She does like to help others, however, in whatever way she can. Over her life span, she's taken to learning the best ways to help wounds heal, and uses this knowledge to the best of her abilities to assist those in need. She's also a good listener, always there to lend a long ear for rants or sob stories, or just plain old conversation. Since birth, she's been the talkative sort, and thrives on the conversations she has with random critters she meets. Like a sponge, she soaks up everything everyone says, storing it in little sections of her mind for later use. If you use her as a shoulder to lean on, though, be prepared to listen to her, as well.
