I don't think it matter how big it is; although, bigger is always better since you're be able to resize it smaller if need be.

I only have a few picture of Patricia. Probably because she's not as popular as the other characters. You could try looking at 4chan or Raki-suta.

Misao. I'm using the artbook(?) drawings of them so that why. I thought people could tell who is who, but I guess the hairstyles vary from their anime counterpart.

I took out the Kagami one to put in a separate post since it was big.

Generally, how I do them is just vector the image, but I fill it all with a certain color [usually the hair color]. Then, I add a huge letter in the background and just add text. It's pretty simple, and most of the time is taken vectoring/fine-tuning it [like the text, which gets annoying].
