Personality: Very laid-back about life and willing to just go with the flow in any situation. She abhors fighting, just because it takes too much physical effort and spoils the appearance. She has been known to seduce males into giving her shelter and food for a while, and then just disappear in the night, without a guilty conscience. She is not totally without a weakness though - she has been burned in the past, and is a little cynical about the concept of love simply because she throws the term about so much but has also suffered in it. Outwardly, she is a fun-loving lioness with a charming smile.
History: A single born cub, Mapenzi was spoiled as a child, and never really taught the value of hard work. Although her parents had indeed worked very hard for everything in their life, they chose to do everything for her in her childhood. Oh she was taught to hunt, and she is a good hunteress, but thinks someone else can do it all for her. So, when her parents became too frail to keep doing things for her, she decided to go exploring and look for someone who would hunt for her again. Now, she has been lumbered with children. As much as she despises the thought of children, she would not raise a paw to them in hatred. So she's done what, in her mind, is the kindest thing for them - left them with someone.

Personality: Moh loves his siblings and his family, though already he has started to pick up on his 'difference.' It feels strange - since his siblings are all Seers, that part of his life feels normal. But then none of the other pridal members have the gift. So, what does that make him? He's confused and rather naive and impressionable at this age, he needs to be pushed in the right direction.
History: Born to a Goddess, thats certainly a lot to live up to! Moh and his siblings have all been blessed with the gift of Sight, but how will that affect them. Is any one better than the other? And what of the other pride members? Moh has a long life to live yet, and a lot of history to make.

Personality: Her domain outstanding, Penna as an individual is very caring and sincere. Her natural disposition towards wanting to help others is a bonus to her domain and makes her almost tireless in her duties. She is quite patient, but is by no means unflappable, becoming quite flustered and confused if made angry enough. As a delicate lioness, she is easy to offend.
History: For time immemorial, whenever there has been Greed, there has been Charity. And thats how Penna has lived her life. Her previous lives may have been spent in fierce opposition with Greed, but in this one, its been shared, as Greed took the form of Penna's sister, Ubuge. Bound by blood, Penna cannot bring herself to battle too fiercely (its also not in her nature to do so). In a strange way, they feed each other, Ubuge the sin, Penna the virtue.

Personality: Not many things can bring joy to Seji, but that doesn't make her miserable. She is simply lost. To share company with her, no one would complain of her being in poor company, although she doesn't speak much. She's a precise and calculating lioness and doesn't have time for the things in life that are unnecessary. This would include friends who aren't useful, chat, relationships that aren't strong or are fleeting, and cubs that can't be trained to be efficient adults. Its a very bleak look on life, and Seji feels all the worse for it because she doesn't understand why she acts the way she does.
History: Seji has gone through life feeling distant even from herself. As if she couldn't quite truly understand what motivated her or drove her to do the things she did. She had entertained notions of being possessed or being of two minds in one body, but it was at that point she feared for her sanity and for the danger it could pose to herself. Her childhood was fairly normal, although looking back on it, she glazes over some parts on purpose. Like she chooses not to remember if she had siblings or not. For a while now, she has simply wandered the plains, forgetting another piece of her past with every passing day, and contemplating why she feels so empty. Appearance-wise, she is the reincarnation of a previous monster, a General of Mrost. But in other aspects? Who knows.

Personality: Not outwardly confrontational, Sekondi possesses a great sense of duty, especially to his family and friends. He's pretty naive of the workings of lion-life, but some might find this charming or even somewhat sweet. Having been used to a very structured life, so dependent on things being done properly, he takes orders very well and carries them out with gusto, believing that he is contributing to the better of his family/pride. He's also very good with youngsters, they are the next generation.
History: During the time of Firekin strength, Chagina mated into a strong family bloodline. She wanted only the strongest and bravest offspring to carry on the Firekin way. But when she was heavily pregnant, the Plague descended on the pride. Chagina could see the death all around her, the weakness. She didn't want that for herself or her cubs, and made the decision to flee and maybe return one day with her strong family. She travelled for a long while, heading towards the shelter of the jungle but gave birth before she could find somewhere safe. To her mild disappointment, she had just one male cub, but she loved the dark male regardless. Once in the jungle, she began instilling the Firekin mindset in her son at an early age - superiority and strength. To her joy, he was a large cub and set to grow even larger in adulthood. But she wouldn't live that long - Chagina died of an infected wound after a struggle with a leopard. The young male, named Sekondi, knew enough to survive on his own but was still vulnerable from attack. When a troupe of primates promised to keep him safe and warn him of danger, in return for protection from other predators, he had no choice but to accept, being their ground-dwelling guardian until adulthood. Now, he's grown curious about the feline inhabitants of the jungle, and what lies beyond the shelter of the trees.

Personality: Now old enough to make his own decisions and follow his own path, Shetani battled a while with how he felt in regards to the unrest. He was oblivious of the uprising, and was equally ill-equipped mentally for the battle. He did what he could, but in the fray, it was hard to tell foe from friend. Now, his ego a little battered, his resolve is strengthening in his decision. There was no right and wrong, just each path. He was confident in his and would serve the remaining traditionalists to the best of his abilities.
History: Born to Ny and Ra, from a long line of pureblood Firekins, Shetani and his three brothers and one sister are now caught between the traditionalists and the rebels. After the great uprising, with the rebels swelling in greater numbers, Shetani chose tradition overall, despite his parents very open upbringing. Strength is so important to him, his fame, his glory, and to give up a blood-right in favour of new ideas fell on his deaf ears. He greatly misses his family though but does not begrudge them their decisions in life. Its lonely, and he hopes they miss him as well, but they have a path to carve, and so does he.

Personality: Extremely hyper-active and often full of energy, his actions nearly always supercede his thoughts. He'll run into a bush before checking for ivy. Because of his hyperness, he is very inattentive, hardly listens when spoken to and forgets things very easily. It doesn't take much to distract him either. He has no shame and willingly makes a fool of himself for laughs. He can be a bit clingy - he craves attention. And he's an enthusiastic prankster.
History: The last cub of Ushokolethi, Takilifu never knew his father and was an almost constant nuisance to his long-suffering and aging mother. After several near-death experiences in his youth because of his cockyness and trouble-making ways, he is now left alone. His mother passed away peacefully, but not until telling him he had a secret older brother, hidden in the jungle. He had to be hidden because...he was a cheetah. Having found this 'brother' and dutifully passed on the sad news, Takilifu began to lurk about this new patch of jungle, a constant monkey on his brother's back until...well, his brother was gone. Despite his most adamant views on having an adopted cheetah in the family, he was now alone again.

Personality: Highly intelligent, if sometimes lacking common sense, Tambuzi has a calculating mind when he sees fit to use it. He's laid-back in many respects, but a little uptight in others, particularly challenges and comments made about his size. He is a very able swimmer, an unusual trait in lions. He has his own brand of charm, but not everyone will fall for it. He is smaller than the average lion. He has aged very well, maturing and showing a great deal of responsibility that he didn't realise he had.
History: One of only two cubs in a litter, Tambuzi was the smallest but most intelligent. His brother Tipwa, almost an identical twin, was born with an odd genetic disorder, giving him strength and size but a slowly developing brain. As a smart youngster, Pomboo felt that she could leave Tambuzi on his own a little more than Tipwa, who needed constant supervision. So, Tambuzi explored more than Tipwa, made more friends, but also got in more fights. Then Tipwa would charge in and defend his brother, much to Tambuzi's annoyance. Despite their differences, Tambuzi and Tipwa were very close brothers. When the time came, Tambuzi felt he needed to get out and explore more of the plains, maybe even settle down with a family. Tipwa, meanwhile, had to stay with his mother.
Now a leader in a growing pride, Tambuzi has more challenges to face and his children's ascension to leadership to think about. He has to put them and the pride above all else, but what would really come on top - his family or his pride's success?

Personality: Certainly the child most like their father, Tamu shows great potential. She's intelligent, like her father, but respectful of the pride's ways, like her mother. She absorbs her surroundings, giving her a sharp mind. She can be a little slow with common sense, but this comes with age. Now at that awkward stage of life, Tamu has hormones and a sense of 'whats out there?' to contend with, fighting between her duty and her sense of adventure.
History: Second-born and first daughter to Mlinda and Tambuzi, Tamu is the apple of Tamba's eye. She is the darkest of the litter, and the one most strongly resembling her father. Naturally, she was an adventurous cub and very playful, very curious. And now, she's maturing into a beautiful young lioness with a wit and intelligence easily surpassing her father's.

Personality: Udha is very much a 'family man.' He cares deeply for his sister and his adopted family, quite often at the expense of himself sometimes. As such, he's a happy-go-lucky sort of lion, content with things the way they are. Change scares him. In fact, he believes so much in his family that he doesn't want to remember his real mother. As far as he is concerned, she doesn't exist and he doesn't want to know her. If he knew how much he looked like her, he'd feel sick inside.
History: Originally one of three cubs, his brother was stillborn. Torn by deep sense of failure as a mother, Kianga fled and left her remaining cubs helpless. After a confusing first few moments in life, he and his sister were adopted by Tai, who then later had three cubs of her own. Udha grew up not only in a strong, big family, but also with a mother who was very often surrounded by the pride's cubs. He was never short of a playmate and it reflects in his personality. He's very well balanced. And very much a family man. Watch out ladies!
