Goth and Emo don't even exist. Goth is an ancient tribe of German people, and a style of building. Emo stands for Emotive Hardcore, a genre of music / lifestyle that doesn't actually exist anymore.

But of course there is a somewhat modern goth lifestyle. Sprouted out of the huge post punk scene in Europe.

Also you cannot be emo. Emo is only a subgenre of punk, so there is no lifestyle associated with it. domokun

Goth is a style for buildings and Goth were also tribes in like, the Roman/Whatever ages that had branches to them, like the Visigoths, or something. And emo and punk are both styles of music, emo just somehow just turned from Emotive Hardcore to emotional thanks to modern day society.
