You shall be named Arlen Endecott (you can add "the conqueror" or "the impaler" if you like).

Yeah.... then I can call you 'Alien Yoghurtpot'. ^^ (cuz they sound the same and if you don't heat Arlen Endecott properly thats what it sounds like).

I have a five page list of Vampyre names that I downloaded off the internet, and since I can't be bothered to try and find the website again I'm just going to type out the list of names that are under the headings 'Historical, Literary and Movie Vampires: Male'...hopefully you may be able to find something to your liking from this list.

Azzo Andrew Bennett Dakhanavar Gilles (de Rais) Graf Orlock (Nosferatu)
Jean-Pierre John (Baylock) Joshua Lecroix (Lord) Ruthven Mamuwalde (Blacula)
Martin MOrbius Murray (St.) Germain Strahd Vamey (Viscount de) Morieve
Vlad Zachary Lucius Sexton

And the next list are just Male Vampire Names:

Abaddon/Abaddona Abdia Abrial Acheliah Adirael Adriel Aladiah
Alaliyah Alphaniza Anael Atatiyah Azaziel Azrael Baruch Bathor
Beatiel Beleth Cael Caila Charciel Chasmodai Daeva Dagon
Dai Darquiel Dredekea Donquel Exousia Geviriyah Gurson Haim
Haziel Jetrel Kalmiya Kasdaya Levanah Mara Mikail Mithra
Nehinah Purusha Rathanael Rochel Samhiet Sar Shekinah
Sisera Sorath Theodonias Tychangara Urzia Varuna Vanibbeth
Xaphon Zephon

Currently I'm using Adriel, Darquiel, Jetrel, Mikail and Rathanael in a Vampyre Saga that I'm writing. Hope that gave you some ideas....

Too lazy to read to check if it's already been said, but a good few of those are angel names. I know Adriel, Anael, Azaziel, Azrael, and Haziel are for, and I'm positive a few others are as well. It's pretty safe to assume than any name that ends in an "ael"-ish sound are angel names =]

I'd go with "Steve"
Just don't spell it with a Y unless you want to be a pretentious douche nozzle.

I sense there's something in the wind...

I always use this when naming characters for stories. Some of them are corny, but there's some neat ones too.Gothic baby names site
