"Don't worry about it. And not... every lion is like me... I guess. My brother is a jerk." Wacheza mentioned absently, looking thoughtful, "I just try to be friendly to everyone... after all, if you aren't nice, then others won't be nice to you either, now will they? Like my brother... who is a total jerk. But he..." Wacheza paused, "That's okay, because he left us..."
He smiled, looking more cheerful again, "I hope you meet lots of nice lions in the future though. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there, and you're really nice too." Very competative, but nice.

Pilate nodded at this. She did not remember what her family was like very well. It was a long time ago in her mind when she had last seen them and it was a blur. It was probably best not to question what had happened between the two. If wacheza said he was not a nice lion he probably was not.
"I see..." Pilate found her self a little more embarrassed now that she had brought a bad memory up. "Im sorry about that."

Wacheza blinked and then smiled, "No... don't be. He's gone now, and mom is sad about it... but I think she's the only one. I'm glad he's gone, all he ever did was make us all miserable. I'd much rather have you for a sister than have him for a brother. Really."

Pilate blinked, "He was that bad huh?" A cold shiver went down her spine. What ever his brother did must have been unforgivable and that must have made him a really horrible lion she would never want to run into.
"Good things hes gone than huh.." Pilate looked back at Wacheza with her deep pink eyes. He must have been really hurt by him , she thought to her self.

"It wasn't that he was really bad... it was that he was never nice to any of us." Wacheza said quietly, shaking his head, "But don't worry about it, he doesn't like us, and he'd never coming back. No one liked him." He smiled and shrugged, "Mom hasn't gotten over it yet. She loves all of us. Even him." He looked at her, "Do you have any family traveling with you, if I can askk...?"

Family, that was a word that struck at the core of her. It was such a distant memory and so long ago it was not missed, thankfully. She had never known the faces of her brothers or hers sisters, and didnt remember if it was that she had brothers or sisters at all or how many. Her mother and father were even more of a blur. It didnt upset her at all just kind of an emptiness was felt. There was nothing.
"My family? I dont remember anything..." Her voice drifted off into a dreamy low tone, "I just remember the warmth of my mother and that really was it. I dont know if it was my father who gave my color or my mother. I dont remember how many brothers or sisters I had either.." There was a pause and finally a little sigh from the cheetah, "But thats that you know... Cant cry over spilt milk if you dont know what it even tasted like." Her voice bounced back to her girlish tone and she gave Wacheza a deep smile. "I got by somehow.."

Wacheza looked at her, seeming sad, "Now I'm sorry... talking about my brother when you don't know if you have one or not... I'm sorry." He repeated, feeling bad about it. He hadn't even thought, "It must be hard... living on your own."

Pilate shook her head in a no jester, "Its not hard when its all you know." She smiled, "Just glad I can come across a nice young gent like your self from time to time." It was true, finding a nice wild cat or animal from time to time was more rewarding than a family in her mind. After all, she had not known her family.

"Thanks Pilate..." Wacheza smiled, "I'm just glad... really glad that I can help you. In any way you can. I mean it, no one should have to be alone if they don't want to." She didn't have to be alone, not really, as far as Wacheza knew. He would miss his family, if they left him... most of them anyway. But he would have tried to find anyone if they can.

Pilate smiled again at Wacheza, he was a good soul.
"I dont think of it as being alone... no ones ever truly alone as long as their hearts are opened. I like to keep mine open to all and keep the memory even if mine is not kept.." Near the end her voice trailed off into a soft whisper. A giggle escaped her, "But thats silly of me I guess." She smiled again. Smiling seemed to be something she did alot of. "Lets not dwell in the past, its come and gone and both of us are still here."

Wacheza felt the same way about Pilate. She was a good soul. "Okay, we won't dwell on the past. We can be in there here and now." He smiled, "But that doesn't mean you aren't right."

"Thanks Wacheza," She was truly thankful for someone to understand her ways. Though she hadnt meet many people or creatures, she had a feeling Wacheza was a rarity indeed. The waves softly came in and out softly splashing at the two.
"It must be way cool living near a huge body of water," A smile split across her maw.

"Any time." Wacheza smiled, "And yeah, I love the ocean. I don't ever want to leave if I don't have to. This is the greatest place on earth... I think anyway, I've never been anywhere else, or traveled." He wasn't sure he wanted to, but he loved the ocean. Why ever leave?

"Your right, the ocean is the greatest thing Ive seen in my travels... most of what I have seen though is tall grass... But its not all bad," She smiled, "The jungles are really nice too I hear from passing animals."
The cheetah stretched some, her long spine curved as she squatted back down in the sand. "You ever want to go see the world?"

Wacheza smiled and shook his head, "No... I don't think that I ever want to leave this place. I mean, maybe... one day... but right now, no. No. Right now I love this place, more than anywhere else. And I don't need the rest to see that this is where I want to be." He laughed, "I guess you could say I don't want an adventure... I love being where I am. I like who I am... I don't want to change." He shook his head again, "But... really, change is inevitable, isn't it?"
