I slightly agree with this. Bella is just a little to..what would you call it. She's a little bit Giddy. YOu could say. She needs to much protection. She falls, blacks out, almost gets killed by a car, runs away from Jasper and Alison in Twilight. Almost gets herself killed. Rides a motorcycle...jumps off a cliff...walks in deserted places...i mean come on shes like Horrible.

As for Edward. I mean i Love him to death but hes a fictional character(then again how do we know its fictional?). My point is we couldn't have him if we really tried.

For Jacob i really have nothing to say. He kissed her without her permission. Then barley helps with her hand in Eclipse. But then you got New Moon where he helps her get though missing Edward.

They are both good guys in the book. I really love them both, the same so oh well.

Jake just seems like a naturally nice person. Edward is kind of old and...I mean people, he's over 100. I mean, Edward's nice and all that, but you just can't have fun (no, not that kind) with him. He has too many limits.

Wildcat, I sort of like that she's a damsel in distress type. That's not too common in literature anymore and I like it. I'd love to have someone protect me the way Edward protects her.

I would chose Jake myself, he is warm and likes to get into trouble and still has super powers.

But for Bella, Edward all the way. He's what she needs & wants. Jake is only what she wants sorta

@bakabaka22: I like Bella because is isn't super human or super hot. She is a real person. So what if she's a clutziod or needs protection? A lot of us are breakable and I'm glad to finally find a heroine who is also breakable and has weaknesses and can't make up her mind and makes poor choices. It makes it more interesting.

When they are in the tent and Bella is asleep, well they think she is, Edward is just as mean as Jacob. Everyone likes him better because Edward is always putting on an act. If you really think about it; How well does Bella actually know Edward? His actual personality seems really bitchy.
