Shinyu was near then, although they did not notice him. He had returned from the school after going out on a bit of ah unt for the men responsible for the slaughter of his friends and destruction of his village

Ryukai laughed. "Oh no you don't." He appeared by Pheonix. "You take on this a*****e, I'm helping."

(nice come in alan....now to only assert yourself and make yourself a little more into the story.)
"No...I can' let you get hurt...this is my fight...I'm the one he wants dead!" Phoenix pushed her/him (don't rember who) aside and waied for valak to make another move.

Shishuri appeared. "I apologize, Ryukai-kun, but I met trouble along the way."
Ryukai smiled. "Don't think you're getting away. Don't forget; This dude's been after me and Shishuri-chan forever."

He approached them and looked at them all. "listen to him. I have bean here a long time, and you are not ready to fight him yet. leave Phoenix to this. your itme well come when you well have your chance"

Ryukai glared at Valak, then yelled, "Katon! Goukakyu!" Then a fireball erupted from his mouth. He and Shishuri escaped while it was still travelling. They went to a secluded glade. Ryukai turned to Shishuri and asked, "Are you okay?"
Shishuri nodded, then gave him a quick kiss and lay down. "You take first watch."
Ryukai nodded.

shinyu made a lightning quick dash toward Valak and pulled a fake-out strike at the same time the firebal lwas launched, to assure their escape. Suddenly he was in the cave with them and said "I''m glad you two got away. Any casualties?"

Ryukai bowed formally. "I am Ryukai and my friend is Shishuri." He glanced at her sleeping form. "Please be quiet, I would not like to wake her... She can be very irritable..."

Phoenix was still otu there fighting valak. he wouldn't give up he had no choice but to severly injure valak so he could escape..it was do or die in hos situation...and without any crystal energy.....he was bassicaly doomed to die.

((I forgot to mention, I always have it so that at least one of my characters can control their aura.))
Ryukai sighed and spread an aura wing over Shishuri. "I suppose it might be better if you left... The man is strong, but I doubt he can hold his own against Valak." He was talking, of course, about Pheonix.
