I think it was Cardcaptor Sakura was the first I watched, but the first I really got into as an anime was Neon Genesis Evangelion... and I hated DBZ.

My first is still my favorite. Grave of the Fireflies. I've watched a lot since, but this sums it all up. A teacher of mine showed it to us in 4th grade. Signed notes and everything. Hooray for Catholic schools and retired nuns. "Show 'em the atrocities of humans at an early age, that's the best lesson".

Sailor Moon. I recall her fighting evil by moonlight, and I belive she won something during the day, and she never backed down from confrontations.
Well, technically, it was Voltron....or speed racer, I guess.

I watched Speed Racer back in Italy when I was about 6, then the first one I saw in America was "Poke' Mon" The first season, the episode where charmeleon was about to evolve into charzard, at the digging site I beleive, or mountain. The first image from it was charmeleon lying on a rock sleeping.

I don't know what my frist anime is, and I can't remember what my first one was either. A friend of mine is trying to get me on this website here, it allows you to list every anime you've ever seen and rank them. Which I'll have to do considering my list is as long as Diana's. Edit: My name's Bigdoug on that website.

Sailor Moon. Those girls got me used to mini-skirts at a really short age.
So I never get a boner whenever there is a halnaked/completely naked girl around 8D

Ummm...can't really remember mine. I think it was either Akira or Princess Mononoke. Then Ranma 1/2, and it all started from there. 3nodding

I firmly believe that my first anime was either Kinnikuman (M.U.S.C.L.E) and/or Dirty Pair. I was born in Japan, left there when I was 3, came back when I was 5, left again at 7.
So yeah, my saturday morning cartoons were full of pantyflashings.

My first anime was back when I was a kid, watching stuff like Speed Racer and Robotech and stuff. LOL
But if you're asking what my favorite anime was when I knew it was from Japan... well...
I remember two things from when I was in high school.
One of them involved a giant floating star-destroyer triangle-shaped spaceship over a city, and maybe mechs, and that very well might have been Macross.
The other one was 80's-90's anime, something about a shootout at a mall, and the main characters/villains drove away in a blue sports car. I have no idea what it was, but I'm almost certain it wasn't Gunsmith Cats because I've watched that and it didn't jog any memories. I'm thinking it might have been Your Under Arrest, Patlabor, Dirty Pair (flash), Riding Bean (which was a prequel to Gunsmith Cats), or something...

Tenchi Muyo! I think it was the Tenchi in Love movie, don't remember exactly. Then I went to Ranma 1/2.
