I like both.
'Cause Fiction can draw you in and away from the world.
Everyone needs a 'break' sometimes.
I also like nonfiction.
I like to read the 'Dear America' and 'My Name Is America' books.
It's cool to read about how life used to be.
My favorite non-fiction topic to read about is war.
It just interests me. ^_^
I like to understand WHY things happen.
I'm still working on that with war.

Hm... If you want a good nonfiction book about war, you should read The Hinge Factor. It's talks a lot about why war happens, from long, long ago, to more recent wars. It's a very good book, actually. There's a lot of witty comments and poetic devices, even though it's completely nonfiction, to make it interesting. There are some nice metaphors and similes sprinkled throughout, and it's a pretty exciting nonfiction book. It's really sad, too. Well...it's about war, so I suppose that's why.

Once I read an encyclopedia at school because I forgot to bring a book, and this was in my middle school days when they had silent reading time once a week. XD The teacher handed me an encyclopedia. sweatdrop

I am a huge history freak but i love fiction. Non fiction gets boring at times but Fiction keeps your interest most of the time.
