it actually fairly easy. I just move the analog stick back and forth, only moving it vertically when necessary. Sucks if you get stuck under the stage. I don't usually play with smash balls, however.

In my anime club, we play with items or without. Smash Balls is a must at times (to get the crowd going). We always play 5 stock and sometimes team battles. My character selection sometimes vary though. I usually pick neglected characters (chars. that no one picks) to show the other members what they're truly made of.

Game & Watch is quite the dominant force, he just has a learning curve. Once you get used to him, he's quite awesome at spacing and juggling.

On an unrelated note, I've been goofing around with Sonic and found him to be a very powerful character in team battles by being annoying and setting up KOs for his ally.

I doubt game & watch is top tier. High maybe. Anyway, he is a very good character. Great aerials, moves with high knockback, whats not to like?
