Granted, but it snows too much.
The entire city is being buried in snow, and an emergency
evacuation is called. You aren't one of the lucky few that escape.

Granted, but you have to earn that money by doing unspeakable deeds involving two garden hoses, a government laptop, a terrier, a couple of helium-filled balloons, and one of those talking fish plaques.

Granted. Our solar system magically brings another sun into perfect balance with the other planets, and for some inexplicable reason the two suns create a bond which causes them both to never age and for life to continue indefinitely.
However, you go blind from sunspot radiation.
I wish some half-decent bands came to my city, as I'm rather tired of polka music.

Granted, but they disappear from the night in turn, and every couple on Earth is absolutely pissed at you for removing that romantic element from the evening. They know that you specifically brought this on.
