She's one brave, strong klipspringer.

Pristine blue.

• Fur colour:
Grey ; white muzzle, underbelly and tail-tip

White spot in middle of forehead

• Body shape:
Quite muscular, strong build. Sturdy, long, very supportive legs.

• Herd:
Prefers to live with her children in an area in the savannah she calls, 'The High Grass'.

• Special Talents:
Chachili has the power of sight (she is a seer). However, rather than being a helpful gift, it often distresses and confuses her. She has no interest in honing her skill, rather she concentrates on keeping herself and her children safe in the dangerous world. Seeing does, however, come in handy when escaping from predators, although she has learnt wisely not to rely on her gift alone when under attack.

Just another large, dysfunctional family...

• Biological Parents / Siblings:

Unknown. Apparently, Chachili started life born into a prosperous herd in the mountains, but all connections with her herd were broken after the herd broke up and members scattered. This was due to a vicious mountain lion ambush. Chachili, for one, has never forgotten the incident, but has opted to move on and live a new life. Her past may be the reason she wishes for her children to live a safe, sheltered life.

Makuu - Eldest son:

Makuu, twin brother to Kukuru and born in Chachili’s first litter, is Chachili’s eldest child. Makuu’s time with Chachili, however, was very brief and as a result he holds little memories of his mother. After witnessing a frightening premonition involving Makuu and Kukuru, Chachili felt that the only way she could protect them was to give them away to a wild dog, Chiboa, to foster. Chiboa grudgingly accepted and Makuu and his brother were separated from their mother to be raised as not klipspringers, but wild dogs.
Chachili wishes to sever any connection with Makuu she can, as her grief and shame at giving him away is so overwhelming that she cannot bear to meet her son ever again.
Makuu, however, is a very supportive big brother to Chachili's second son, Kukuru.

Kukuru - 2nd born:
Played by Kinreii

Kukuru, twin brother to Makuu and born in Chachili’s first litter, is Chachili’s second born.
Kukuru is quiet, timid and often overlooked and occasionally suffers from short spurts of anxiety, perhaps a side-effect from the trauma of being separated from his mother at a young age. Like Makuu, Kukuru was also given away to Chiboa to live his life as a wild dog. However, as he grew older, Kukuru began to doubt his heritage and sought to find his true origins.
He met on a few occasions with Mkimya, not realising at the time that she was, in fact, his ‘blood relation’ and, in a sense, his ‘replacement’. He struck up a friendship with her, although it is not known what will happen when he discovers who she truly is. He only holds very vague memories of Chachili.
Chachili, however, remembers Kukuru, although the time she spent with he and Makuu was short. Like Makuu, Chachili wishes never to have to face her son again, as she cannot bear admitting that she abandoned them to the care of a wild dog, years ago.

Pura, twin sister to Mkimya and born in Chachili’s second litter, is Chachili’s eldest daughter and third born. Pura, twin sister to Mkimya and born in Chachili’s second litter, is Chachili’s eldest daughter and third born. Pura, twin sister to Mkimya and born in Chachili’s second litter, is Chachili’s eldest daughter and third born. Mkimya - 4th born:
Played by Seaki

Mkimya, twin sister to Pura and born in Chachili’s second litter, is Chachili’s youngest daughter. Although, during Mkimya’s childhood, Chachili was always over-protective and obsessive about her daughter’s whereabouts and safety, Mkimya, like any young klipspringer, was playful, curious and partial to wandering. Her occasional wanderings led her to meet Kukuru, and as she left, Blancun and Clandestin revealed the possibility of Kukuru being one of Chachili’s children, and ultimately, her brother. Mkimya questioned Chachili about this while Pura slept, but Chachili, wishing to protect Mkimya from the truth, painfully denied that Kukuru was her son. However, Mkimya, after an encounter with Chachili’s old friend, ‘Koin’, learnt of her mother’s lies.
The relationship and bond between Mkimya and Chachili is, without a doubt, the strongest out of all Chachili’s children. As Mkimya grew older, the two shared many meaningful conversations and their dedication and love for one another grew significantly stronger.
Having always strived to shelter Mkimya from harm as a youngster, Chachili was devastated when Mkimya delivered some shocking news... she, like Chachili, had fallen pregnant by a rogue. Chachili was, at first, badly hurt by the news and scolded her daughter for her irresponsibility - Chachili, for one, knew the pain of falling pregnant by a rogue male and having to raise children solely by herself. The last thing she wanted for her daughter was for her to repeat the same mistake. However, as time passed, Chachili learned to accept Mkimya's decision and came to greatly anticipate the deliverance of the child in Mkimya's belly.
