Satsu had landed on the pillows, arms and legs spread out. Her sharp claws dug into the pillows, wide eyes watching her father’s huge form as he moved towards Aisenma. Giving a small purr, she then scurried along behind him. She moved only inches behind him, never touching him but obviously wanting to. She wanted his attention more than anything. She wanted him to pick her up again; throw something at her; growl at her... anything would do.

Malum was no longer aware of the child behind him. It had seized to exist in his mind as he stared down at Aisenma, dark pooled eyes expertly hiding his inner emotions. Where else would she stay but home? A part of him had almost been afraid... well, perhaps afraid was too strong a word, but slightly worried that she might turn away from him. With his new strength he could destroy her. He was... changed. Would his blood run the way she desired? No longer was he just a demon, he was a god, and with that brought certain rules and responsibilities.

But he would not allow her to leave. No. He would break every bone in her body if he had to. As he loomed above her, Malum gave a deep, chuckle. His Aisenma would stay nowhere but with him... with her home. Satisfied now with where his thinking had come to, Malum knelt down and leaned over her. With one arm he casually swept Valum to the side and with the other paw captured Aisenma’s chin. He snarled at her before moving in for a rough, demanding kiss.

[- Cynic -]
As Cynic scrambled down the tunnel he had flung himself into, he was careful to make as little noise as possible. Along the way he dropped several of his favorite tricks, which, if touched or ignited would be quite a surprise for this God of Demons. He knew he probably shouldn't cause Master Malum any harm (what a stupid thing to do! He was no fool, after all!) yet he had promised him some amusing tricks. Thankfully, his knot-tying skills had been put to the test before, so he hardly missed a step tying tripwires to rocks along the way. At each intersection of tunnels, he took care to place some of his best tricks. After all, these would be the places Malum would pass through, more likely than not!
(And onward he runs, etc etc. XD)

Ishmael made his way through the dark and dank forest, dragging along a wet bundle. He had heard that there was a God of his kind in this area and thought it might be beneficial if he made himself known and ingratiated himself with the deity. Ishmael could put aside his ego to worship someone if it would benefit him and he would take any opportunity to advance his position in this world. He was greedy and heard that this God, Malum they called him, shared his favorite past-time. Torture.

It wasn't long before Ishmael came upon a cliff face with a large cave mouth at its bottom. The blackness coming from the entrance almost seemed unnatural, but this close he could smell other demons inside, none of which he recognized. Gripping his bundle tighter and with a fierce light in his eyes he plunged into the depths.

Eventually Ishmael came into a large chamber that led off into other tunnels. If the God was home, this is where he would meet me. But Malum wasn't in sight.
"The smell of my...gift...should arouse him to my presence," Ishmael mumbled to himself as he sat down and began drawing animals with decapitated body parts in the dirt floor.

OOC;; I can either join in the RP you got going with Cynic or you can split into 3...its up to you

Ooc: And then there were three!

Tag for Mercy. <3

Sorry Boom love, I hit a bit of a snag with our rp. XP I’ll reply soon though, promise.

The smell of Ishmael’s gift did indeed garner Malum’s attention... and that of one of the younger residents. Satsu peeked out of the tunnel that led to her father’s den, wide blue eyes blinking out at the demon that had come to see if he could garner some favour from the mad god. She glared warily at him before skittering out into the open, much like a little bug she didn’t move in a straight line, instead zigzagging across the ground. Clearly she wanted to see what he had brought along with him, but was too nervous about getting close. She stopped halfway too him, crouching on the ground and hoping he might just... go away?

Malum’s youngest mortal daughter hissed at Ishmael, little tail swishing back and forth. Then quite suddenly her whole demeanour changed, she rolled onto her back and gave a happy little gurgle. With that sudden personality came a darkening of the area. The torches against the walls flickered and dimmed as an aura of danger and violence settled around them. A deep growl rumbled through the large chamber, which turned into a noise that was almost a chuckle.

And then Malum was there, the Demon god appeared beside Ishmael, seemingly materializing out of nothing. He stood almost companionably beside the other demon, staring down at the messy gifts strewn across the ground. Malum’s nudged a severed arm with his foot, giving another demented snarl-like chuckle. None of the few visitors to come here had brought something like this before. “Hm.” He bent down picking up the arm and tossing it idly to his daughter, who was on it instantly, little teeth gnawing away happily.

Now Malum turned his attention to Ishmael’s looking down at the other demon, expression completely unreadable; his emotions concealed behind a blank mask. And then gave a deadly, sharp toothed grin. “Welcome.” His black eyes glittered in the torchlight, malice written clear within.

Ishmael had noticed the younger demon scurrying about but paid it no mind. Younger demons were beneath him and weren't worth his time. Then something peculiar happened. The young demon layed on its back and started gurgling and it seemed as if the light in the place was slowing draining. Could this youngling be that powerful, Ishmael wondered. It didn't take long for Ishmael to discover the true nature of what was going on as he heard growl permeate the air in the chamber.

Ishmael looked around to see where the noise was coming from and was startled to see a large demon standing next to him, as if he materialized out of thin air. The demon took an arm from the bag Ishmael had dragged with him and tossed it to the younger demon. Then Malum looked at Ishmael and uttered only one word, "Welcome."

Ishmael knelt before Malum and brought the bag up before him. "I had intended to bring you a toy to play with, but the journey was long and I became hungry. My humble apologies, my lord. I thought perhaps you would still enjoy these pieces as souvenirs. Especially the skull with the spine still attached."

Ishmael layed the gifts before Malum and awaited his response.
PostPosted: Mon Aug 18, 2008 5:44 pm

The demon god didn’t respond. He stared down at the kneeling male, his only movement coming from the swishing back and forth of his tail. This was something new, and beyond his intense gaze, he was rather curious as to this phenomenon. What exactly was this creature after? Ah of course, power. Sometimes Malum forgot he was a god now, a being that had ascended from his mortal life. It should be no surprise that others would come, those willing to step into his domain and put themselves at risk of mutilation, in order to try obtaining just a bit of what he had. At least this one had brought something along with him... it might just save him from a few broken bones.

Malum reached out, claws ghosting across Ishmael’s cheek. It might have been seemed like a tender gesture, though that illusion was quickly shattered when he flicked a finger quickly, drawing a line of blood. “Bring me a toy next time... and if you get hungry along the way.... eat yourself rather than something belonging to me.” He growled out, his voice low and almost amused. Using his claw he collected a droplet of the demon blood, bringing to his lips.

Now that her father was here Satsu’s courage had grown and she approached the two elders, dragging her chew-arm along with her. Blue eyes glared at Ishmael as she reached them before she purred, rubbing her face against Malum’s leg. One flick of her father’s tail sent her tumbling backwards. The god didn’t spare her a glance, even as she shook herself off and crept back, choosing to inspect the rest of Ishmael’s offering rather than get thrown around again.

Adonnenniel picked her way carefully around the withered trees, plenty experienced in such confusing forests used as protection. She wondered vaguely if this was a lingering desire of his to be part of the family. Does he miss them? Did it matter? The stoic demon shook her head and stepped through the thick branches to the cave. A smile crept across her face for a fleeting moment, but it was gone in a flash. She stepped through the entrance to the temple, moving with the usual fluid and grace she was known for. "Malum?" She called softly. She knew he would hear no matter how loud she spoke, so she kept her voice low and gentle. After all, she was visiting her grandson. Looking about at the blood littering the floor she was reminded of Malis, her mate and was filled with a sense of pride. Malum had been a jewel in the family and none were surprised that he had made it to such heights. Even Viray, who had competed and lost to the volatile male, had come home humbled and content. The family continued on its course without Malum, this is true, but his room remains untouched and open to him should he ever desire to grace them with his presence.

Ishmael knew he had screwed up by killing the offering before he had reached this lair. It was never his intention, and he had hoped this god would be understanding. He expected perfection from himself so why should this god be any different to those entering his domain?

Ishmael didn't even flinch when the demon-god caressed his cheek and then gouged a line into it with his claw. The pain was minor compared to that which he often inflicted upon himself. He enjoyed knowing a little bit of how his victims felt in their moments of agony.

"I apologize, my lord, but I'm sure that pitiful creature tasted better than my tail would have and how would I serve you properly if I was weak from hunger and loss of blood? I would better suit your needs in good health otherwise you would be nursing a sick demon instead of accepting the remains of my gift. But if you have no need of my talents...."

For Mercy:

Malum eyes narrowed and the temperature in the cave plummeted, the torches nearly dieing completely under the sudden onslaught of the gods dark aura. He gave a wide, sharp and menacing grin. “You will eat your own head if I tell you too.” The god loomed closer, reaching out again before the demon. “Weak from hunger?” He chuckled as if a rather stupid joke had just been uttered. The image of his nursing a sick demon was even more amusing.

The demon god moved suddenly and without warning, striking Ishmael across the face. Malum only seemed to snap his wrist in a backhand, but the blow was powerful enough to send the mortal sprawling. It would hurt, but other than a bruise there wouldn’t be any lasting damage. Malum had things in store for this foolish creature that had wandered into his home seeking power. Maybe if Ishmael was lucky, he would even gain some of that power he sought.

“I am Malum. I am your god.” Malum hissed the words out, leaning over Ishmael, eye dancing with madness. “You will serve me or you will perish. You will do as I command or I will tear you apart... and I’ll see how tasty your tail is.” He gave a dark chuckle, his tail slinking around to touch Ishmael in an eerie caress. “You belong to me now. Do you understand? Or...” Another chuckle. “... would you like to give up and leave now?”

For Fatal:

“Grandmother.”

Malum’s sudden presence before her was almost gentle compared to his usual air of menace. Certainly his aura of violence was not diminished, but in the presence of this mortal he seemed slightly humbled. Less likely to fly off the handle at a moments notice and kill everything in sight.

He had felt her enter his forest and had waited until she had reached his home and called his name before revealing himself. The god watched Adonnenniel, his expression unreadable. This was a proud moment for him. Malum had been waiting for one his family to come and see what he had become for quite some time now. His brothers or his grandfather. But it was only right that it was the head of the family should make the trek to his temple first.

“Welcome to my temple.”

Boom, you’ll be next. I dunno why my head totally dropped out on me as far as that rp is concerned. >.>;

Ishmael couldn't take it anymore. He should have never thought himself able to be subservient to anyone. How could he ever take orders from someone such as this?

"I've apparently made a mistake in coming here. Apparently my services would be un-needed. I pay tribute to you with my meager offering and take leave."

Turning, Ishmael sprinted towards the exit, all the while hearing a deep chuckle just over his shoulder, haunting him the entire way out.

She was taken aback at his appearance, so different from the mortal she had known. She hadn't been prepared for the physical changes in him, but she collected herself and dipped into a graceful bow. She rose with a soft smile that was unlike her. It didn't hint at any underlying deception or malice, as was the norm for Adonnenniel. "Malum, my grandson. You have brought a measure of honor to our family that is unparalleled. More than that, you bring honor to our entire race." Her voice was barely above a whisper and none but she and the god before her would be able to hear it. It wasn't often that she paid compliments as bluntly as she had just done, and the words seemed strange to her. Still, she was beyond pleased with this turn of events. "Malis wishes to meet with you soon."
PostPosted: Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:06 am

Blood rushed to Aisenma's cheeks in a flush and she became putty in his hands. A small bark of pain slipped from Aisenma as the kiss turned too rough, Malum's new found strength a little to much to soon. She pulled back and lowered her head, wiping at the blood that flowed down from the corner of her mouth. She was blushing and she had to turn her head in embarrassment. She usually loved the roughness and the blood that ensued, but this was different. She felt a little disheartened now that she had proof that Malum could break her, could hurt her to the point of her not liking it anymore. She looked up to Malum, eyes careful to hide how she actually felt. She gave a devious little grin and tried to play bashful.

"My what sharp teeth you know have... a little sharper then before." Beside her Maura looked up from the the safe spot next her mother that she had been lying. She then looked to her father and gave a large toothy yawn, she could feel the soft shaking her mother was doing, and she looked interested in finding out why, but the shaking subsided and she yawned again, lying her head back down, nuzzling into her mother's leg and mewing softly. Aisenma turned her head from Malum, Valum catching her eye, she pulled him into her lap scratching behind his ear until he purred.

"My father's will have to meet you soon. My father's will be pissed they didn't meet you before we had the little ones, but you're a god.. what are they really going to do? Right?" She gave a nervous laugh that ended very quietly. "And my sister..." She gave a hesitant look up into Malum's eyes before down casting them to little Valum, still petting him, the action comoforting her. She use to pet her sister before, when she was nervous, and her sister would calm her and soothe away all her fears and worries. If only Valum could speak, she was sure he would do the same.

"I love my sister... deeply. She is my world and was my only sanctuary before we met. I guess you need to know that and know that I would and will do anything to make her happy. I have been neglecting her lately, for you, she won't be happy, but, if I make time for her... and promise her... she'll forgive. Besides, what's she going to really do? Your a god."

She sighed and it sound pathetic. Aisenma felt broken and she couldn't make herself stop worrying. Her world had been turned inside out and upside down since meeting Malum, and then, he was a god. There was no other direction for her life to take, it was already inside out and upside down and she was loosing her will power to hide her turmoil. Malum was a god now. Her eye twitched and she took a deep breath. She would not be able to play her favorite game anymore. He would destroy her, he would always be able to find her, always be able to catch her, he was better then her now. Could he even feel pain anymore? Could she hurt him like she had?

"Do... God's... break? Can I?" She looked up to Malum, and seeing his face pissed her off. All this self doubt over him, over... over a lover. She was tired of this feeling, feeling pity for herself. Feeling useless. She wasn't. She was one of the best demons in the world, and now she had a god as a lover. That had to mean something right? But still she had to check something. See for herself instead of just wallowing in her sorrow. She pushed Valum from her lap, standing and moving to press her body against Malum's. Her hand found his face and she stroked it softly before running her fingers through his hair, a lovers stroke that turned into something vicious as she found the flesh of his shoulder. Her claws then sank in as deeply as they could. She needed to know if he would bleed. She needed to know if she could still pull a grunt of pain from his throat, she need that part of the relationship to be the same, otherwise... otherwise. Her mind froze as her claws dug straight down to his tail. What? What would happen if she couldn't make him hurt? Well she would cross that bridge when she found out, then burn the ******** it hurt Malum?" Her words dripped with venom, as her eyes shone, a dark light.

For Boom:

Malum followed at a steady pace, listening carefully for the pitter patter of hurrying feet. Sounds carried well through the tunnel, rebounding off the walls. The God was amused by how well the demon was managing to remain silent. But there was still the occasional noise of paw against rock and shifting scratching noises as he set the traps. Malum couldn’t help but sense the presence of the other as he followed him through the long underground tunnels. There was the smell. Even in an environment were blood seemed to smother everything else, Malum could distinguish Cynic’s scent easily.

A trip wire caught around him foot, but he was moving slow enough that it only caused a slight misbalance. One claw quickly fixed the problem, snapping the length of wire with a quick upwards jerk. Malum moved onwards and, much to his annoyance, encountered more. He didn’t pause at the intersections, just continued to move and steadily and unerringly after Cynic. That was when something crackled and flared beneath his paw, causing little fireworks throughout the dimly lit tunnel.

Ah… how… amusing.

For Fatal:

Malum was immensely pleased. His Grandmother had always been a female he held in great regard. Even as the insane demon he had been, where violence and the desire for blood ruled his actions, Adonnenniel was one of the few whose mere being was enough to still his inner madness. She was soothing. In the family her word was law. Malum respected her, just as he respected and had once feared his grandfather. Leaning towards her, his tail swished against the ground and he gave a rumbling chuckle.

“My family will always be protected.” This was what he could offer her, in return for her pride in him. His gravelly voice was for her ears alone. “If there is trouble, call me.” From the sudden insane glint in his eyes it was clear, that should anyone even dare think to hurt one of his own… a deities wrath would fall upon the. The madness cleared and Malum stood up straighter. “I will go to Malis in a day’s time. I will be waiting in the underground room.” That was where he had been taught the art of torture as a child. Times he remembered fondly.

A figure cloaked in shadows lurked at the edges of the cavern, waiting until Malum beckoned her over with a slight flick of a claw. Satsu was there in a second, the young female practically attaching herself to her father’s side and watching her great-grandmother was suspicious eyes.

While Adonnenniel was here, she may as well meet one of his kids. Even if they were all a complete nuisance. “My daughter… Satsu.” He explained his voice completely dispassionate. He didn’t pay attention his daughter, despite her paws wrapped around one of his arms and her adoring gaze.
PostPosted: Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:18 pm

For Deb (Ruri keeps her promises ;D):

Malum tasted blood and felt the female he so possessively needed pull back from his touch. He felt her hesitate, even as she tried to hide the action, he could not miss the subtle change of wariness. It had never occurred to him that she might be less than happy with his new strength. With his ascension to godhood he knew she would never be able to leave him. Why should she feel any doubts on the matter? Why would she not be glad that the male that was her home was more powerful, capable of protecting her and giving her a river of blood?

His eyes narrowed, looming above her with his white hair falling messily around his face and shoulders. He ignored the shifting of the children around them until Aisenma moved Valum back into her lap, which he had ejected the youngster from only moments before. Then she was muttered about family, the nervous laugh causing his ears to flicker backwards with annoyance. If she so desired he would meet her family, though he had no interest in them whatsoever. They should come to see him if they really wanted to know the deity that owned their daughter.

As for the sister? Once Malum would have felt jealousy that some female would have even the smallest part of Ais. But he would allow her to spend time with Amnesia. As long as Ais knew who she had to return to at the end of the day... or else he would drag her back by her hair if necessary. Yes, he was a god. He was her god and it was good that was remembering that fact. This new part to him was here to stay and Aisenma had better get used to it. Either that or the rest of her life with him was going to be difficult.

Do they break?

“No.” He answered bluntly, sitting back on his heels. This moment of self doubt she was going through. So very... foolish. He couldn’t bring himself to care. Eventually she would get over it. She belonged to him, what else did she need to know? They could still enjoy each other, but never again would be taken to the brink of death by a blade in the back. The demon god moved slowly up into a stand. Black eyes gazed expressionlessly at the female as she now moved towards him.

Blood did indeed run as she tore into him, flowing down in rivulets, matting his fur. “I feel it. It hurts.” A god could still feel pain. Malum gave a low snarl. Yes, now he could understand her anger and doubt. If he did the same to her, would it kill her? If he lost control and pressed a little too hard Malum could break her without meaning too. His vicious nature was sometimes uncontrollable. He could not throw his all her because his all would destroy her. With her, he would have to be gentle and that was not how their relationship had evolved.

The wounds on his shoulder began to close. But at least... at least he could still bleed for her.

[- Cynic -]
Cynic smiled as he heard the sound of fireworks reverberating off of the walls of the cave. He was almost disappointed that he didn't hear a howl or even an accompanying rumble from a falling rock...
He continued onward, placing traps and tossing cherry bombs at various occasions.
As he passed into the final cave, the same which he had been in before attempting to entertain Malum. This portal, and all others leading into this particular cave, he covered in a web of fine wires. Nobody would be netering here without a nasty treat!
He sat in the middle of the cave, cheerily stretching out and waiting for Malum to find him. He really had nothing more he could do in this terrain!
