Team Barton... I loved that movie. xd I told my sweetie I was going to see it and he went to see it almost the same time I did. We live 2000 miles apart. Daw, isn't he sweet?
Anyway, yeah. I liked the moodiness. I lot of parents are complaining that it scared their kids, but it was rated PG13 for a reason. You shouldn't watch it until you're like 10 or 11.
I watched an Austin Powers movie when I was nine or ten. That pretty much scarred me for life.
Yeah, Ame no like batman voice either. ...Fear our angelic cuteness

But its psychologically traumatizing for children!
A lot of critics even warned parents.. Even the actors! Cept Bale said "9 year olds maybe..." I think 11 + would be best.

Rabid Bagel Cow Thing crazy_mongoose I think it's a liittle to overrated, but it is an incredibly good movie. I just don't like Christian Bale's batman voice. neutral Nobody likes his "Batman" voice.True, his "batman" voice sucks big time. But the movie was made of epic and win.

I don't think post Golden Age Batman was meant for young children anyways. It started getting really dark... C'mon. Just read Batman: The Killing Joke or Death in the Family or Arkham Asylum or the actual Dark Knight series. Made ME pee my pants. Well, Death in the Family not so much... Maybe not the Killing Joke.. but.. yeah... Not too "kid friendly"

I went to see the movie in theatres. With expectations that this new Joker. Would be vastly inferior to Jack Nickelson. Which played the Joker in the first Batman movie. It's hard to compete with someone like that. But he did a great job of playing the villain.
On the topic of Batman movies. There are only a few villains that are yet to used in the actual movies. That were used in the animated series.
Lazerous (He was some figure that had discovered. Some sort of secret to immortality or something like that). Leatherhead (I remember there was some crocodile like figure in the batman series. Though I'm not entirely sure if that was the name or not. And I'm not thinking of the one in Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtles either). Hardac (The cybernetic system that Batman dealt with on a number of occasions).

I know I'll end up seeing that at some point but it definitely will not be in theaters. I like Batman just enough to make fun of his existence and I laugh whenever someone mentions Heath Ledger thus I'd get beaten/mauled/maimed/mutilated and thrown out upon my cynical a** faster than you can blink.

The LAZEROUS PIT was what Ra's al Ghul used to be young forever. Killer Croc is the only crocodile bad guy I can think of for Batman... And.. I'm not sure about that cyber system...
@Tai: Aww... It's too early to be making jokes. D:
