The Mountain Village

(wanders around one hand clawed and bleeding freely, a filthy rand wrapped around it.)

Seig finally found his way to a clearing near a wall. The night air was nice and cool as he leaned against the wall and slid down untill he was sitting.

~Jubei walked into the town and looked around, making a soft hmph and tsking before he walked to the center of the small collection of buildings, crossed his arms and stood there.~  

[Ivan Von Gaunt]

"Good day..." Ivan says to a random passerby, smiling warmly and offering his hand. The man snorts and walks off, leaving the slayer standing on the street like a fool.

"This town is damned..." he muttered under his breath as he looked up into the bleak sky, which looked as though it was about to give way and rain. He then looked around him, seeing blight and dispare as far as his eyes could see, making him feel rather depressed and lifeless.

"This king should see to his people... He is obviously and unfair ruler..." he said, curling his lip in disgust as he came across a dead dog. "Maybe the rumors are true..." he contemplated, his cloak rustling slightly as he made his way through the town. "But that would mean I would have to storm the castle..."

There was a clap of thunder and a flash of lightning, and Ivan disappeared, his teleportation masked by nature's noise and light.  

[Raiden the Ancient]

Raidan sat atop a small home, gazing up at the stars in remembrance. His eyes locked onto a dark shape moving across the starscape. He knew what it was, and what it entailed, but he didn't care anymore. The damned thing could stay up there; he wasn't leaving again.

*Jagga wandered in and glanced around, her sword behind her back and her short hair brushed her cheeks as her ears and tail twitched curiously, looking around for others*

Raidan watched her fron where he lay prone with his rifle on the roof of a small home.

He strode amongst the villages, wearing simple and common clothing so as not to stick out. Following close behind him was a man of around 5'11", with short dark hair and clear blue eyes.  

[Lucrenia Velucia]

Lucia walks around apon the people wondering about the villages. She walks about just wondering around and looking. Does she know who she is even looking for?

He strode amongst the villages, wearing simple and common clothing so as not to stick out. Following close behind him was a man of around 5'11", with short dark hair and clear blue eyes.

Raidan murmured something, and the other man instantly picked up his pace, pulling ahead of Raidan slightly to scan the passing villagers.

The fog became thick as Luciriah, Quinn and Kuroi made their way through the area in search of the mountain village, there seemed to be something strange about the fog. Kuroi lost Luciriah's hand for a moment, he called out for her but coul hear nothing. A needle emerged from the fog striking the side of his face, the frightened child turned and began to run away as the blood streamed down the side of his face slowly. A fanged figure emerged from the fog holding a needle in between each finger as he stared down at the child.

Kuroi sensing himself near death could feel something rage inside him before he blanked out, his body then moved, his eyes stared up at the creature, they were glowing an emerald green. Within moments the figure was held his hands and legs bound by vines which seemed to appear from nowhere. The man tried to scream but it was too late, Kuroi hand shoved his hand into his body and ripped out his still beating heart, the blood ran down his hand as he crushed it. "Begone foolish nightmare..." he said as a large piece of sharpened wood impaled the vampire.

Kuroi then blanked out again seeing the heart and blood in his hand, he threw down the heart near the body as the fog began to clear, he fell to the ground crying as he began to hear Luciriah cry out for him. He got up without looking and ran toward here, the impaled body within sight of Luciriah and Quinn.

Luciriah called for the child as soon as she felt his hand leave hers. They still weren't safe and she needed them to stick together.
She blundered around in the fog, her hands infront of her trying to find something solid to help guide her. She strained her voice and began to cough, doubled up. When she finally stopped and weakly called out Kuroi's name again the fog had cleared and the child was standing infront of her, sobbing. She smiled with relief and was about to take a step towards him when she saw the blood on his hands. Her smile instantly disappeared. There was too much there to be from the cut on his cheek (another thing she'd noticed)
Her gaze passed over the child and behind him lay a body, mangled and lying in a pool of blood. Next to the body was a heart, ripped savagely from its chest. Luciriah had never seen anything as repulsive as the sight now before her, and she once again doubled up, this time vomitting. She clutched her stomanch as she dry-retched.
Gasping for breath she looked up, her face now deathly pale. "Y-y-you..." she stammered at Kuroi.
And with that she turned her back on the child holding his hands out to her, ignored her other companion, and stumbled away into the village, still sore.

Kuroi watched as Luciriah began walking away from him, he tried to chase after her but tripped onto the ground where he didn't move, just cried his eyes out not knowing what had happened or why Luciriah was leaving him. "Luciriah... why are you leaving without me?" he cried in a desperate and pleading voice.

Luciriah acted as though she didn't hear Kuroi, continuing to stumble through the streets without a clue as to where she was heading. All she knew was that she needed to put as much space between her and...that...that THING as she could manage.
But she wouldn't be able to go too far - she'd just lost her feed and was already becoming dizzy from the lack of blood again. Ignoring her screaming urges she continued to put space behind her, she could always feed on a stray animal to keep her going if things got really bad.
