I finally got the soundtrack!
But it's to the movie, not the anime.
I still haven't watched the movie yet, but I'm planning to soon.

I just borrowed it from my sister. But it came in a box set with the movie. And I was reading the back of the DVD case for the movie when I noticed that even though the storyline is basically the same, all the details are wrong. It said that the main characters were depressed and that the one was tired of living. That made me mad since that's not how it happened in the show.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but I think they're supposed to be the same age as they were in the show. The movie is supposed to be like the show. It's not supposed to be a continuation or anything like that.

So the movie is an "original?" And it's sort of like "alternate universe," like it doesn't exist in the show, and it's a whole new separate plotline?

In a way...
I just watched it yesterday and I hated it! It was son different from the show and they got everything wrong. The characters were the same, but they didn't act like the same and some didn't even look the same. AND it was so confusing! It didn't really make sense.

I watched the Escaflowne movie! biggrin There were...robot dragons? XD;; And the king...Van, was it? The main character was Hitomi or Van? I was kind of confused with that. Hitomi seemed really...depressed.

Yes, there was a robot dragon, Van was the king, and Hitomi was depressed. In the show, she was not; nor was Van. The whole thing frustrated me. And they cut out so much of the storyline.
