Back to the Sun, Back to the Shore Back to what I was Before. Lie on the Beach, Dream within Reach Don't Stray Beyond((There are only three champions. Remember? Harry wasn't supposed to be picked? He was an extra. Either way, I'm going to pick a name out of a hat, I think.))
Evangeline continued to smile as their conversation went on. She'd never heard of werewolves mating that much, but it was nice to hear that her father's symptoms were only mild. Surely, being bitten could ruin someone's entire life! "A werewolf? That's certainly interesting. You sure are a mutt," she joked. She didn't mind it in the slightest. Who was she to judge when she wasn't completely human either? She was no hypocrite, that was for sure. Besides, this was the first friend that she was making at Hogwarts. Her mother always said that international friendships were really important. It was nice to see how other people lived here at Hogwarts. It was so completely different than her Beauxbatons. Everything was so comfortable. She was really beginning to enjoy herself here.
"Well, it shall only be three people this time. I believe 'Arry Potter was an extra competitor," she said, remembering what her mother had told her about the night the Goblet of Fire spelled out four names instead of three. "Oh, you should visit Beauxbatons again! And meanwhile, you can visit me in Paris! I know all the best places in Paris. We can go shopping and to restaurants..." It sounded like a lovely idea, having someone visit her from another country. And surely her mother would like to meet one of the children of the Beauxbaton champion herself. Not to mention, she was niece of Harry Potter. But Evangeline was sure the girl didn't want to be pestered about her family all day. That had to be irritating. "Yes, many brilliant people have come from Hogwarts. It is a very nice change of scenery. Like I said, not too much testosterone at home." She giggled again at the joke. || D o m i n i q u e || K a t h e r i n e || W e a s l e y || Dominique smiled and giggled. "Call me a mutt if you like! But I dont mind." Dominique thought back. Her Uncle Harry had been an extra in the Goblet of Fire. "Well there sure are a lot of people that have entered their names in, so we shall be very lucky to get our names drawn." Dominque would love to compete in the Tri-wozard Tournament and become the first ever girl Champion. She could already see it now. "Paris sounds wonderful!" Dominique exclaimed. Her parents lived in a Shell Cottage not to far from the Burrow, where he Grandmother and Grandfather lived, so she had never been to Paris before.
"Gormet resturants would sure do my stomach good! And shopping would be twice as fun!" Dominique sure was smiling alot. She enjoyed meeting and talking with Evangeline, she wondered if she had any other classes with her. "Testosterone is sometimes good. Not always though." Dominique giggled and got a slight stare from the teacher. "So what do you have after this?" She said quickly. {D.a.v.i.d.} {C.h.r.i.s.t.i.a.n.} {H.a.l.l.} David watched as a girl walked in. He followed her as she took a seat at the back of the room. David grabbed his book and through it back in his bag. He looked back up at the teacher for a moment before sneaking to the back of the room to sit next to the girl. "Hello there." He said cooly. "My name is David, whats yours?" He thought she was very pretty, but so were most girls at Hogwarts.

Briget May GrantBriget looked to see who had spoken to her and noticed it was a cute boy. "Hey cutie" she said in a flirty yet cute way. "I'm Briget" she continued in the same some. She smiled a flirty smile and ran her fingers through her long blonde hair. "What are we supposed to do?" she asked him quietly. Because she was late she had no idea about what to do at the moment.

Back to the Sun, Back to the Shore Back to what I was Before. Lie on the Beach, Dream within Reach Don't Stray Beyond"Yes, we have a lot of people participating at Beauxbatons as well. I think people forget just how dangerous it is. I heard just how terrible it was when that Cedric Diggory died. How tragic," she said, thinking about the story she'd heard about it. She couldn't imagine being so excited about a tournament and then ending up dead in the end. Of course, it was found later that his death had nothing to do with the tournament. That was all You-Know-Who's doing. "But I do hope that our names are drawn! We will be the best of competitors!" She was confident that she was good enough to be called by the Goblet of Fire. She had some of the best marks in Beauxbatons. Many said that she was just a natural at magic.
She was glad that Dominique seemed enthusiastic about the idea of going to Paris. "I can show you all over the place in Paris. The best restaurants are there. It's good for your stomach, but not quite for your hips," she chided. She remembered how many times she ended up having to go on a diet at the end of the summer to keep the pounds off. She had to work to keep her tall form from thickening. "In August, I visit my relatives in Munich, Germany. You see, my father was from Berlin. So I lived there most of my life. So I could show you the best of both countries should you come to visit!" It would be terribly fun to go to see the sights of both countries. Germany had some wonderful cathedrals and architectural masterpieces. Of course, Paris had the Eiffel Tower.
At the question about her schedule, she took the piece of parchment with the times of all the sixth year classes written on it. "Well, sixth years go to Arithmancy and then Ancient Runes...So I don't have class until Astronomy tonight," she said happily. Her day was pretty open! Of course, that had to mean that she would be stuck with a ton of classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Still, it would be nice to have a lot of free time today to explore the school a bit. Some Girls Fight Hard, Some Face the Trial Some Girls were just meant to Smile. || D o m i n i q u e || K a t h e r i n e || W e a s l e y || Dominique thought in her mind competeting with Evangeline and then going on Holiday with her. A smile grew on her face as they continued talking. "Wow this all sounds so wonderful. But we have to get through school first!" Dominque said giggling. "Maybe you could come to my house sometime. I mean, its nothing special, but you could meet my parents!"
She listened to her saying she had nothing until Astronomy tonight. Domonique had been careful to avoid that subject because it wasnt until midnight. "Your lucky. I have class the next 2 hours." Her stomach made a small grumble. "I didnt eat much breakfast either, so I cant wait for lunch!" She said patting her belly to stop it from growling. "Well let's see I gotta ask you one more thing to see if we shall be best friends. Do you fancy Quidditch, I know your not in a House, but do they still let you play?" Dominique hadnt thought about the question before it escaped her mouth. But she waited for Evangeline to answer. {D.a.v.i.d.} {C.h.r.i.s.t.i.a.n.} {H.a.l.l.} David put his hand underneath his chin, as he flashed Bridget a smile, and a wink. "Bridget. That's a really beautiful name." David's flirtaicous side was emerging. He almost didnt hear her question because he was getting lost in her eyes. "Oh well...." Her stammered. For some reason he was having trouble focusing though he was quite smart. "Well all you have to do is turn to page 146 and read the chapter about Goblin Revolts in Hogsmeade. And for us 6th years, our homework is to research the most recent Triwizard Tournament for a class discussion in a few days." He said still smiling. "Hope that helps." He said cooly.
"So what House are you in? If its my House, I can't believe I didnt notice such a beautiful girl like yourself?" David had hoped she wasnt in his House, so it didnt seem like he had never met her before.

Briget May Grant"Thanks" she replied sweetly. Opening the book to page 146 and skimming through it she already knew what it was about. You see, Briget had a photographic memory which helped a lot when it cmae to studying or memorizing something. "Thats pretty easy" she said to him truthfully. "Thanks that actually helps alot" she continued.
Oh he is so cute Briget thought to herself. "I'm in Hufflepuff and yourself?" she asked him. He looked familiar to her but not that familliar.

Back to the Sun, Back to the Shore Back to what I was Before. Lie on the Beach, Dream within Reach Don't Stray BeyondEvangeline didn't want to think about having to get through school first. she was very intelligent, but there was a certain time in about the middle of each year that she got severely frustrated with the pile of work she would have to do. Once she got past her self-pity, she would be fine. She just happened to get the winter-blues when it was cold out. But she liked the idea that she would go to meet Dominique's parents too. It wasn't just that her mother was Fleur Delacour. She wanted to see more of England. She wanted to see the way other people lived. She was used to the mansion in Paris, and the old mansion in Berlin. She wanted to see other dwellings and meet different kinds of people. "That would be great! I haven't seen too much of England. Of course, I've been to London a few times, but not much besides the few business trips I went on with my father," she said. She missed those trips she used to take with him. For a moment her heart ached. It wasn't too often that she really thought about her father. Not at school anyway. She always visited her grave during all of her breaks.
Hearing the girl's stomach growl made Evangeline laugh. "You ought to eat more for breakfast, you know," she said with a giggle. "Really, I feel so much better after having a well-balanced breakfast." She didn't eat too much herself. It was easier to stay thin when she didn't eat as much. Of course, she wasn't anorexic or anything. But she always strove t remain as thin as her mother. It didn't always come as naturally to her, as she was only half-Veela. Her mother always told her there was no such thing as an overweight Veela.
At the mentioning of Quidditch, Evangeline smiled. "Of course we play Quidditch! We do it more as a recreational sport than a competition, though. You see, we don't have houses the way you do here, so it's difficult to have a real tournament. But I do enjoy to play. I'm not as good as some of the others though, so sometimes I like to sit it out and just watch. Or just fly. Flying is the best part, I think," she said happily. She wished she was on a broom right that moment, just flying through the clouds. It was such an easy feeling to just float in the sky. || D o m i n i q u e || K a t h e r i n e || W e a s l e y || Dominique smiled. "Thats it! You are officially my best friend! We like the exact same things, and I think that is just bloody brilliant!" Dominque was eruptiong in happiness. Evangeline was one of the few people that liked almost exactly the same things she liked. Her heritage would come in handy as well, so she was sure her parents would like her.
"Well you outta come out and watch me play for Gryffindor, at least once the matches start. I am a Chaser." Dominique said proudly. She turned back to her book and began to skim what they had to read. She didnt feel like reading much right now. {D.a.v.i.d.} {C.h.r.i.s.t.i.a.n.} {H.a.l.l.} "Oh this is such a tragiity! I am in Hufflepuff as well. I cannot believe I havent had the pleasure of meeting you?" He flsshed her a smile and began to read the assigned pages.

Back to the Sun, Back to the Shore Back to what I was Before. Lie on the Beach, Dream within Reach Don't Stray Beyond((Haha, nobody's called me Amy before. ^^ I'll be waiting for those profiles. I was thinking of making a Durmstrang character myself))
Evangeline smiled at Dominique's proclamation. "Yes, we'll be the best of friends," she agreed. This was definitely the start of a beautiful friendship. "I'll definitely come to see you play! I heard you Gryffindors have a pretty good team. I was so pleased to hear that they weren't canceling your Quidditch season for the Triwizard Tournament this year. I love to watch other players in action." Really, it was awesome to see the way some people moved in the air. Evangeline was graceful enough on a broom, but she just wasn't ask skilled at the game as some others were. Surely, she would have enough fun watching. And she could cheer on Dominique now. This was definitely going to be a good year for her.
Evangeline definitely didn't feel much like reading. She was having too much fun with Dominique. It was great to find someone that had all the same interests as she did. Evangeline never really had a 'best friend' relationship before, so this was sort of new. She had friends and acquaintances, but none of them had ever really gone past that. They were people to have fun with. And she did. But she didn't have one particular friend that she felt very close to. But she and Dominique had so much in common. It was great.

Will we lose it someday? I want to protect you and that disappearing smile The ringing voice that calls me dries out Even if it gets erased by the wind along time I will find you...
Gregory Leo Wood
Gregory felt kinda bad when he noticed the frown on Rosalie's face when he mentioned almost getting hit by a bludger. "Don't worry about it," he replied with a slight chuckle. She obviously didn't like making anyone feel pain and hurt, but why would she try out for the bludger position on her house team? She obviously had some skill if she made the team. Girls were confusing at times, most of the time. Right when that thought had crossed his mind, another girl entered the room. This time it was one of the Veela girls from Beauxbaton. The hairs on his neck stood straight up when he could feel her presence walking to the front of the room. Girls like this scared the living hell out of him! Anyone with the power to make a group of guys drop what they were doing and drool where they were standing was too scary for him to want to get to know. Leo did not like her one bit, but he had to act polite to everyone here at Hogwarts because it was what the Headmistress had asked of them. Hopefully, he wouldn't be seeing too much of them around campus. He didn't want his true feelings to come to the surface and make anyone feel unwelcome. He hated being seen as a jerk, that was the Slytherin students' job and they did it quite well.
Gregory returned his attention to the Hufflepuff Beater when she asked him if he owned any pets. "I only have a regular ol' barn owl, but he is pretty funny sometimes." Then the class got pretty quite, since the trio's conversation had eventually died down. Gregory decided it was best that he started to look over the pages assigned as classwork so he wouldn't make a fool of himself if the professor called on him for anything. That would not be good! One of Rose's cousins were in his the class at the moment, and he didn't want to give her anything bad to say about him. Maybe they all expected he already knew everything about the subject since he was in Ravenclaw, and everyone considered them know-it-alls. Leo did a fine job at proving everyone wrong about that, since he was a bad procrastinator and sometimes lazy when it came to studying. It would be possible that he was the lowest ranking Ravenclaw boy in his year, but it wasn't because he wasn't smart. He just didn't like to throw it out there for everyone to see. If people were his true friends they wouldn't care if he was as dumb as a rock. Gregory's attention was taken away when Cage snapped back into reality and muttered something about free time. He had plenty of that today, since he hadn't scored high enough on his Astronomy O.W.L. and his head of house didn't think it was a wise idea to continue in that field of study. What was so exciting about staring at the stars so late at night? Maybe he would enjoy it better if Rose was standing next to him up on one of the high towers? The Ravenclaw sixth year shook his head to stop himself from thinking about such things, and returned to listening to the conversations floating around the classroom.
Professor Collier lethargically recited passages out of the history he was holding with both hands. Everyone thought he was just another bookworm sort of teacher that loved boring things like goblin rebellions. To be honest, he hated that the headmistress had assigned him this class to teach and did not find anything about the past even close to interesting. As he read from the page he assigned to the class out loud, he slyly scanned the classroom with his piercing yellow eyes. Many students had showed up to class late, and this really annoyed him. He took the time to give them useless facts because the ministry put it in the curriculum. and they don't even have the decency to show up on time? That was why Professor Collier hated older students, and fancied teaching the first years. They could be taught whatever he chose. They were the ones with the young little minds that could be twisted and warped by authority. His little mind rant had been cut short by the laugh of a Weasley. He could no help but stare at her sudden interruption of the class. Blinking rapidly to get himself back on track, Professor Collier continued to ramble on about burnt down houses. He knew that all this patience would eventually be paid off, but it was starting to wear him down.
Even though I keep on falling, You laugh and help me up every time As I board the vacant back of the bus You flash me a small smile I must place my trust in you...

"I would love if you could come to the games! That would be wonderful!" Dominique fancied talking to Evangeline. She only wished she had more classes with her. The thought of becoming her best friend was even more exciting then it would be to compete in the Tri-wizard Tournament.

Back to the Sun, Back to the Shore Back to what I was Before. Lie on the Beach, Dream within Reach Don't Stray BeyondIt was pretty obvious that the professor was starting to get frustrated with the class. Who would want to get stuck teaching History of Magic anyway? All he did was talk and talk about what happened in the past. And all the students did was listen, take note and memorize everything they could. It was probably one of the most boring classes Evangeline ever had to take. She'd much rather be in something like Transfiguration or Defense Against the Dark Arts. Those were the classes that she really excelled in. She was definitely glad that she had the next two class periods free though. Arithmancy and Ancient Rune were supposed to be some of the more difficult classes. She couldn't imagine having take one of them, much less teach one of the subjects.
Evangeline smiled at Dominique, keeping her voice low enough that it wouldn't bother the Professor too much. She didn't want to seem rude while she was there. After all, the Beauxbaton and Durmstrang students were all guests, and should be grateful for this chance to meet other international students. "Yes, of course, I'll go. I heard it's a lot of fun to watch from the stands," she said with a dazzling smile. She was very happy to have made a friend so quickly. Now if only she could find one of those Durmstrang hunks. She laughed in her head at the mental joke. Most people thought of her as a whore because of all the attention she commanded, but really, she was very picky with those she allowed to court her. Some Girls Fight Hard, Some Face the Trial Some Girls were just meant to Smile. She pulled out a Quill, parchment and ink bottle from her bag as she thought of what her parents ahd told her about the last Tri-Wizard tournament. She began writting points down and what she would say if asked a question. She thought and wrote.
She looked over at David. He was so cute. Returning to her work she wrote some more. She leaned in close to David's ear and whispered to him all that was on the assigned pages. Her lips brushed against his ear softly as she contineud telling him what was on the page saving him the trouble of reading it.

She flipped through the pages aimlessley. Nothing in Magical History was remotely interesting. Well the Battle of Hogwarts was interesting, but they study tio far in the past, instead of a meer 25-30 years ago. Dominique sighed again, as another grumble escaped her stomach. She giggled softly, still turning through the pages, listening to Professor Collier. {D.a.v.i.d.} {C.h.r.i.s.t.i.a.n.} {H.a.l.l.} David was startled when Briget suddenly began whispering him information of what was the pages. He looked up to see Professor Collier talking about boring history. He wished it oculd be more interesting, but there was no way that could happen.
