Lion the Broken Hearted Really? I find her very attractive. xD I'd tap that. )_) (_( Can I get someone to say like a hell yeah?! I've also thought, Koruku was on to her in S3. Anyone think that she is an embodiment of the Bright Shield rune? Hell Yeah! (Just for you, Lion.)
Jeane can't be the embodiment of the Bright Shield rune. Genkaku was the previous owner, and Riou has it when you get the "good ending." Jowy has the Black Sword in the "good ending," but Riou gets the whole rune if you choose the alternate ending. Those two make up the Rune of the Beginning.
No, Jeane is something else. what, exactly, I still have no idea, but they have made several allusions to what she may be in some of the side pieces of the game. When you use Kidd is S3, he starts to look into her, but she keeps turning him away with magic or trickery.
I also recall some other character making a note, either from their senses, aura reading, or some other manner, that Jeane was hundreds of years old, and possibly even a monster from another dimension. I think Koroku might have noticed something as well, but I can't recall exactly what.

Considering the fact that only 18 of the 27 True Runes have yet been shown, and that Beast, Change, Sovereign, and True Wind currently have UNKNOWN (not NONE) owners, I think that Jeane could very well be an embodiment of one of the true Runes yet to be revealed.
However, the Rune of Change may also be related to her. It is said to be passed down by to each leader of the Sindar, but no Sindar have been revealed in the games to date, and that could be what some game characters have hinted to.
That means there are 10 True Runes yet to possess owners that have surfaced, 9 of which have not even been revealed yet. Jeane could have--or be--one of these.

~Mae You know I think that in Suikoden.... Um... >_< 3? That Luc was the True Wind holder. However I think that was or maybe was not confirmed... I have not played that game in a few years... so... yeah.

Wholefood Specialist I am sorry... but they would almost HAVE to be. I mean they are like the land marks and sex appeal of the entire game! *ahem*... noo... I don't find a few century old woman to be appealing at all.. I mean it IS only Jeane after all.... I still want some confirmation on that! my bigger concern is that Tierkreis starts with the defeat of the SoD's, with only 4 survivors... none of which are the Tenkai star... i should think that they would have to be among those 4.... Well, think about this, This means all the SoD were killed. perhaps this is going to be one of those gay plot twist ones where they have to go through time and grab everyone. However.... I would like to see the heros and best fighters in one awesome kickass RPG... And also, if only 4 remain, they will just have to recruit some more. Oh well. Im sure there is a LIMITED supply of pixels they HAVE to use. :3 (i hate the fact that they were all killed)

Actually, I have discovered something on suikosource.
The STAR DRAGON SWORD, a.k.a. the Night Rune (a True Rune), is a poor translation on Konami's US branch's part. It actually translates to the ZODIAC SWORD. This may mean that the story of the Night Rune may be expanded.

Lion the Broken Hearted Oh yeah, but that was in s1 or s2, when they had to get that rune to slay the vampire lord. That was more the past of the Rune. But maybe the wielder of the Zodiac Sword (Edge or maybe someone new) is a bad guy. After all, the Zodiac Sword needs to slake its thirst for battle. Maybe it wants to do some fighting.
