Fire and Ice (Romance RP)

She squeaked, falling into the snow. "Meanie!" she protested childishly.  

[Hideaway Katherine]

He made a half-sad face. "But you're so cute when you're surprised," he said smiling at the end, looking down to her face. He was holding his self above her using his arms, so she couldn't say he was heavy.

She stuck her tongue out at him, wiggling out from under him. As she pushed herself up, their faces came a bit close, but she avoided colliding her head with his.

He smirked as she attempted wriggling out from under him. "Here," he said as he sat back and stood in one solid motion, then held out his hand to help her up. "Want to go in for some hot chocolate?" he asked, and pointed with his other thumb towards the house.

She nodded, getting up. She lightly pushed him into the snow and ran inside, turning and sticking her tongue out at him.

He hadn't expected her push, and fell onto his butt, watching her run off, and grabbed the snowball out of his pocket. He threw it, and it hit the door frame when she stuck out her tounge. "Ask mom-- I mean Nancy-- to heat the water," he yelled to her as he got up and dusted the snow off himself.

"I will!" she sang back out to him, going into the house to find Nancy. She found her quickly, and asked her to heat up some water.  

[Hideaway Katherine]

"Of course, hon," she said and placed a tea kettle onto the stove, placing the heat on medium. "It'll be ready in a minute or so."

Matthew made his way up the steps and into the house, making sure to shake off as much snow as possible. He entered the kitchen and pecked his mom on the cheek, saying, "Thank you." Then he grabbed two mugs from the cupboard, and went into the pantry, grabbing two packages of the "Marshmallow Lovers" Hot chocolate. He placed the four items on the table, and watched the teakettle to see when the steam would stat coming out.

Lumi smiled at Nancy, "Thanks!" she said to the woman. As the hot chocolate was poured, she picked hers up and blew on it to cool it down.

Once steam came out of the kettle, he pulled it off the stove, pouring it into the cups on top of the coco-mix, and handed her the red mug, while he got the blue one. He took his package of marsh mallows, and stuck it in his pocket for use later. "To the bedrooms," he said, as if he were a dictator, though he took his time, due to not wanting to spill any on the hot liquid down his front.

Lumi followed him, sipping her cocoa. Even as it burned her tongue- she yelped as it did- it warmed her to her ears. She smiled happily, loving the feeling of being warm from the inside out.

At her yelps, he laughed. "Everybody knows you're supposed to let it sit a while before you sip," he laughed in a slight sing-song voice. He entered his bedroom, and sat half cross-legged on his bed, holding the warm cup in his hands, loving the warmth on them.

"Naw," she smiled, "I'm just impatient," she blew on it a bit more, smiling.

Lumi made the mistake of gulping too much of the still-uber hot cocoa. This made her vision blur for a moment, her head spin, and as this happened she fell over.
