Henry followed silently, walking past the others as they still considered following. Hell, he had nothing better to do.

"What's going on, exactly?" Andreas asked as he followed, blinking. "Nobody's here?"

"Doesn't look like it," Henry said. "We don't know much more than you. We got here just ahead of you." His soft voice had a lyrical quality.

"Huh, really? We'll look around inside a bit then?" Andreas suggested.

He nodded a bit sarcastically. "That's the plan, yeah." He turned and continued to follow Ro.

"Just wondering, since when I arrived everyone was just kind of standing here," Andreas returned.

Henry shrugged one shoulder without stopping or turning around.

Arthur grunted. He did not approve of nosing around, but it seemed like they had no better choice, except leave, and for some reason he didn't consider that much of an option. He moved towards the door, flashlight focused on it so as to illuminate whatever was beyond.

Ro was the first to reach the door and he pushed it open ever so slightly and peered inside. Beyond the door was what looked to be a small table illuminated by two candles. Two chairs were on the opposite ends and a small piece of parchment sat between the candles.
"Hello?" Ro said once again, he made no approach to enter.

Gregory stood off a small distance away from the others. He watched as the door they had entered to seemed to close by itself. This made him rather nervous. He reached into his jacket pocket and removed a bottle of pills and took another pill before returning the bottle.

Arthur whirled as the door closed. "I knew it," he grunted, turned, and made for the parchment. So it was a challenge. Or he was paranoid. Both were quite possible.

((I tell you, I cheat!))

Arthur reached the parchment and opened it, for some reason, he felt compelled to read the scripture aloud, "Welcome!" it said in a warmly font, "Enjoy the feast!"
As he finished reading, the room was suddenly lit up by what seemed at least a hundred candles running along the table that was now revealed to be ridiculously long, spanning from one end to the other. An exquisite chandelier hung above the center of the table, swinging back and forth gently in an unseen breeze.
The massive table was surrounded with wooden chairs and there was a white tablecloth covering it. Along the table was a variety of meals, ranging from freshly cooked turkey and pork to raw sushi and caviar. There were two doors, each at the opposite ends of the wall opposite of the entrance.
The room seemed to be much larger than the manor could actually sustain, giving the feeling that the manor was larger inside than out.

"Whoa..." Ro said simply amazed. He was speechless

Gregory nearly pissed himself from the sudden display.

Henry turned a lip slightly. He had already eaten just before he got here.
He walked back out of the room and stood looking around in the main hall. His gaze settled on the staircase and something odd happened.
The edges of his vision blurred, and focused in the center was a door, standing closed at the top of the staircase. Everything around it seemed to darken ever so slightly.
He felt drawn to it. He began to slowly make his way up the stairs, after making sure none of the others noticed. He reached the door and put his hand on the knob before opening it slowly.

((Locations section on the first page has been updated))

The door swung open easily, almost of it's own accord. Beyond the door was impenetrable darkness. Henry went through the door and a strange feeling came around him as he entered the darkness. Henry walked maybe five steps before he found himself descending the stairs opposite the ones he ascended.

Arthur whirled to the table. The challenge; he must never forget the challenge. Smells of food touched his stomach, but he decided to play it safe. Very safe. He was probably outsmarting no one, but it was better than being outsmarted by everyone.

Kicking out a chair, Arthur took a seat. Picking a sparing portion for himself, he began to eat, mulling over possibilities. Looked like they were in for the moment.

The food was delicious.

Ro thought for a moment at the doorway and finally entered the room and took a seat next the Arthur. He took a healthy portion for himself and began to eat as well, he wondered where the food had come from and why he hadn't smelt it before.

Gregory was against eating at first, but seeing as how Ro and Arthur had shown no horrible repercussions from the food, he (or rather his stomach) decided to eat as well. He was rather hungry, seeing as he hadn't eaten since last night.
He sat three chairs away from Ro and took a modest portion of food for himself.
