To Play The Game of Love You Need a Good Poker Face(Need)

Aiden stared at her, "Fine, I'll make sure to do that next time." He took the cards and started to shuffle them, "But why would you care if I'm single or not? I'm just wanted to know if that statement was true and so far it is."

"Well, if you're really bad at the game of cards, then you must be absolutely fantastic at the game of love right?" she looked at him.

"No No...that's not how the saying goes." He smiled at her, "So what are you trying to prove?"

"That your love life sucks as much as mine does, and you suck at cards. So obviously, it isn't true." she replied.

Aiden was about to say something as his phone rang. He stood up and answered it, before he looked back at Avery. "Hey we how to play some other time, my mom want me home." He gathered his cars and smiled, "We'll continue this discussion later."

"See yah," she replied, meeting his eyes. "Let's make a bet," she smirked.

Aiden smiled a little as he watched her, "Hmm..sure, what's the bet?"

"First one who gets to third date with someone wins..." she paused, thinking.

Aiden smiled, "Oh yeah, okay what are the stakes?" Aiden was feeling a little confident, knowing he could get someone easier that she could.

"The other person has to be the slave to the winner for a year," she replied.

Aiden smiled, "Sure thing, I hope your ready to do my laundry by hand." He laughed as he offered his hand, "Deal."

She shook his hand, smirking. "Great, it starts Monday."

Aiden laughed, "Well good luck, you're going to need it." He gather up his cards and walked downstair, "See you at school."

"See you," she grinned, already pondering who she was going to ask out.

Aiden walked back to his apartment, smiling as he knew who to ask. He wondered how hard she was going to try in order to win this bet.
