they're really furry cats smile  like that smile though sometimes their faces look really pushed in so they look mad or grumpy or kind of dumb razz  like this one smile

Yeah smile I saw one in an ad for an animal rescue place here in Dubai razz I wanna go adopt him, he's got a better face than the little stewart cat tho smile it's not smashed in at all smile he looks like my grandma's old cat but with yellow eyes instead of blue smile

I love persian cats. i want one but my parents won't let me have one. confused
About the dogs, ive been braught up saying "if you go near a dog they scare your shoulder angels away" which is bad. And living in america i'm guessing i've already lost them...haha..just kidding. (astakfirullah) But i'm not sure of the issue with why its really bad to have dogs. I don't care much either, I'm scared of them. I've been chased by them enough times. =__=

crazyleochic I keep cats smile but sometimes I want a dog like a Saluki or a Pharoah hound smile Is it ok to keep small animals like ferrets, mice, rats, hamsters etc? Muslims can own dogs, however the dogs must have a purpose like hunting, guarding, tracking etc and most of all, dogs have to be outside b/c the angels will not enter a house with a dog or a picture inside. I love pugs and German shepherds however I know that I have no use for them so I cant own them for the sake of owning a dog. Its cool to keep small pets like birds, ferrets etc.

You guys are getting it wrong, there is no hadith that states that dogs are haram, it is just that they will cut your deeds in half except if you have dogs for protection and the angels won't enter your house.

The_Pathan Let them live like they do in Pakistan. That whill not hurt. i agree. I mean you should see people in the US! They bring dogs special food, toys, shelter, clothes, medicines, and everything a human would need! They even have appointments! i mean instead of doing that to a beast, they could adopt a homeless and orphan child that is suffering hunger!

I've got a puppy dog he is really cute.
I got him from a pound and got to take time out to train him so he listens to me. As far as cleaning goes he's very clean and a beautiful dog, he's loveable and likes people.

The problem in the U.S is that in some places they make adoption almost impossible, I would LOVE to adopt a child someday but I don't know if I can meet the qualafacations in even having one. There can be a bunch of money you have to pay too, or the kid can be taken from you (have emotional problems) ect. You have to be a certain age, you have to have a bunch of things like a real good job and you name it. I just read about a woman not to long ago who was to "Fat" to adopt a chid so she had to lose a lot of weight in order to be a good mom. Where as with a pet you can just walk right into a place and pick them up without problem, heck some people give em away for free in boxes. There is more to rasing a child than a pet as well. I sponser kids instead for now, I much rather do that then for animals even though I love animals.
