Personality: Many personality changes occured during Ta'Ziyan's life. Starting when he was a small cub, Ta always thought he heard voices, and was being watched by 'them'. When the sun decided to set, he would fall into a fit of nightmares, hiding in his own dark world until the sun rose once more. Since the beginning, he has always been alone, and that started to effect his personality. Hiding from shadows and feeling as if all life forms were sent by them, it wasn't until he met Kami where everything worked itself out.
When around Kami, he became long winded and outgoing, not minding the shadows as much when she shone next to him. And as he found her and kept with her through the ages, the darkness slowly faded, until it disappeared completly. Becoming a very caution lion none-the-less, he kept by Kami's side and was only friends with her, but they were best friends. Falling in love with her, his seclusion from others got worse, until finally when she left, he was forced to make friends. Now, with Kami and him being forced to work even harder for their love, he is discovering courage that he never thought he once had. The nightmares are finally gone, but the truths of the world have yet to be resolved.

History: Ta'Ziyan has always been alone, ever since the first morning he awoke to find his mother gone and his father forgotten. A small cub wandering the lands, he had little luck in his journies. Many rogues he met were ones who fought, and he had to fend for his life as well as survive his own horrors in his mind. It was like this for many weeks, running from nightmares that lurked in the day, in both shadow form as well as solid form. That is, until he ran into a young princess who also had issues meeting others. Meeting Kamilika changed his life.
The young princess was also his age, a small cub searching for a friend in the big world of Africa. Meeting her caused him to feel safe and protected, and it was her light that banished all of his shadows. So, of course when he lost sight of the princess (who he had no idea was the heir of the Pridelands), he was bound to hunt everywhere to find her once more. Searching for weeks, he grew into his juvenile stage before he finally caught sight of her near a river. It was then he decided to stay close to never lose her and her light again.
By living in the pridelands, he was not quite a member but accepted anyways. Unspoken, he formed a brotherly bond with the princess, replacing the spot where her twin might have been had he not passed on. For weeks, Kamilika taught Ta'Ziyan how to be a cub, to have fun and enjoy life. Growing with her, he worked out his issues, and soon enough found himself on the lands as an adult, her soon joining that stage. It was time for him to ask to become a part of the pride.
Mufasa, who he did not seem to get along with much, accepted him soon enough from how close he had became with Kami. Rushing back, he told her the great news, but they soon took part in the first fight they ever had. Kami, a young adult going through her first heat, moved too fast, and Ta'Ziyan was forced to push her away in fear of something happening the two were not ready for. The princess taking it the wrong way, she ran off and Ta'Ziyan found his best friend disappearing and taking the light with her.
Trapped in darkness, it took days before he finally decided to come out of his cave, from the prompting of a new protector. Palesa had discovered him broken and near-death, and realized her purpose was to protect the lion in front of her. Now, Ta'Ziyan is building back up from the heartache, and only hopes that Kamilika still has a salvageable relationship he can mend. The good thing is, that when they spoke again, they worked it all out.
However, Ta let his secret slip, and finally let Kamilika know that he loved her. The reaction did not go well, for the princess thought he was too good for her, and turned him away. Running off, she disappeared to go have cubs, and since she left the lands, Ta has disappeared off the face of the earth. Only one lioness knows where he went, and even than Palesa doesn't know where he is located save for a guess of the area.
After a few months of silence, Kamilika finally returned fresh and unknowing to Ta'Ziyan a new mother. Her cubs were put into good care and she returned to hunt for him, finding his cave with the help of Bijan. Through an emotional discovery, they decided to try once more, and worked slowly through their friendship to hopefully more. It grew quiet for awhile, and Kami moved in to his den just so they could be together. However not all was sane for long.
Soon enough, while they were walking through on a midnight stroll, Kami and Ta encountered grave news. Mufasa had rescued a young cub, but was currently fighting a very large rogue. Ta'Ziyan, one to know how strong rogues could be, tried to stop Kami, though he knew in the end he could not. And so they made their way there, and were greeted with the sight of a dying King. Carrying him on his back, Ta'Ziyan went all the way to pride rock, before leaving the family on their own and consoling Kami when she needed it the most.
Kami took the hardship as any faitful daughter would, but also transitioned into her queenly duties right away, leaving Ta'Ziyan alone. One day, when he was waiting for her return, she came to him and they went for a hunt. On the hunt, Kami ended up telling him the news of her cubs, yet both did not realize that they would have nine cubs and create a huge family. The result was a long trail of raising cubs and leading a pride.
Eventually, Sarakiva, the princess and twin heiress to the thrown, was kidnapped along with Kami, causing Ta'Ziyan to rush after and hunt for his love, leaving his home and his family behind him.
