...And do you honestly want more of these redundant European alternative rock songs that we've seen in GH3 and GHWT?

Are you calling La Bamba redundant? Dude, that's the s**t on Bass. Damn fun, and you're a liar if you say it isn't catchy.

Also if it's redundant go with Rock band.

Yes! GH Metallica, finally!

...now they need Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, the Beatles, and a few others.

Rock Band's covering the Beatles.

And the 3 others would suck If they had there own game...hell the idea of GH Metallica is dumb enough.

Jimi Hendrix? Suck? Seriously?

It's worth any price to play Voodoo Child and All Along the Watchtower. If they got a lot of live stuff in there it'd be mindblowing. Hendrix is one of the best picks for this kind of game. I can understand just not liking the idea of band based games, but a Hendrix one would probably be a lot of fun. Even without considering Mitch Mitchell's amazing drumming.

All of Jimi's best is gonna be DLC for GHWT likely, so it wouldn't make sense to make a Guitar Hero Hendrix.

Yea besides they'd gone and done him to death anyways on gh >>;

ever since they decided to make Xavier Stone, a look alike of the guy -_-

Here, I'll give you a few examples...

Parabola, Schism, and Vicarious. Three bad Tool songs, that are influenced by European rock (even though from LA).

Then there's Antisocial by Trust, which is the worst song on the game. Aggro by The Enemy isn't good. Hail to the Freaks by Beatsteaks isn't good. Other European bands that aren't that good are Tokio Hotel, the Stone Roses, The Answer, Negramaro, Lacuna Coil, Airborn and the Living End (Australian), Kent, and the Hushpuppies. Most of these bands' songs on GHWT aren't good. I'm not saying that it is outrageous, because it does appeal to many peoples' tastes, but I really question the selection of songs in this game.

...And if you think Los Lobos are European, then you ought to buy a map. I wasn't talking about them, and they are good.

These songs are many things. Redundant is not.

Whisky in the Jar by....uhh... that original band that did it is gonna be in the game since the Bob Seger and Lynyrd songs they covered are in it.

Whiskey in the Jar was originally a Celtic folk song.

Yes, but the version Metallica covered was originally performed by Thin Lizzy.

The Answer is great what are you lot on about >_> They're the closest thing to Led Zeppelin we're going to get, and Rise is better than most Zeppelin records.

Still, what is that? Like a dozen or so European rock artists, with essentially pretty bad and closely resembled music. I'll agree that a few are good. But the entirety of the selection is lacking.

...So you're saying that GHWT couldn't fill up the spots of these songs with better ones?

Well, it was called WORLD Tour for a reason. It would be odd if there was just American songs there.

I'm pretty sure that world tour means visiting cities, which makes your band look cooler. Shouldn't do anything with the type of songs.

Let's use an example. You play the American national anthem in Iraq. Sure. That work superbly. rolleyes

If you play things everyone will like, then you play them. Simple.

The full setlist is out now.

Criminal lack of No Remorse on that list. =/ Very glad to see Fight Fire With Fire.

I mostly approve of the list.
I would have liked it more if they had The Frayed Ends of Sanity or Shortest Straw on it as well. Maybe even Harvester of Sorrow.

But still, pretty good.
