Zombie apocalypse? Relax, how bad can it get? (READY & ACC!)

"Sophi. You here to trade, or looking for a place to stay, or. . . ?"

He left the question open for her to finish. She seemed nice, as much as anyone could be in this life. Well, he was going to help fix that now, wasn't he?

Actually, he was secretly hoping to find some high-quality medical supplies at the facility too. His own tools were getting past repair, even if the repair workers were the best he'd ever known.

She sighed." Looking for a group of furrs to stay with." " I've been on my own for the past year hunting these stupid zombies.."

"You don't say. . . " He paused. "Okay, I'm just going to say this straight out, one of our resource teams found the location of a replicating facility and I'm waiting here to see which of the village want to go and try to take it out. It's even odds of just making it there, and I can't begin to imagine we'll all be coming back, if any of us. That in mind, success would put us a step closer to putting the Zs down once and for all. Want in?"

He eyed the sentry coming down to check her out. There'd been more than once incident with raiders sending people on in advance, and entry checks while not strict, were constant. "Here's the official welcome committee."

" Official welcoming committee?"
She watched the sentry advance on them.
" Sure I'll help it's nice to finally find a group that isn't part of the walking dead."

The sentry looked her over. "You keep your gear in the commissary, and You don't go anywhere without escort for the first two weeks. Also, I'll need to check you for explosives."

The doc stood back. "It's security, everyone new has the same deal." He sounded as if he didn't like the idea, but as he'd been born there, he never had to go through it himself. The guard patted her down, and nodded to another on the wall that she was clear. "Nice sword, miss."

This done he returned to the wall, leaving her with the Doc, and Zain. "Well I guess now we wait to see who else comes along. You could buy some ammo from the commissary if you need to and have something to trade?" It was an offhand suggestion, but still. "You use a sword?"

" Sword and glock thank you very much. " She was a bit peeved at being searched. " Does that mean I have to leave my weaponry in the commissary also?"

"No-one but guards on-duty carry weapons, though you might manage to get away with the sword once you've been about for a while and people get to know you." He waved to the gate. "You came over the bridge yourself, any attack would be seen in plenty of time to get ready for it. The Zs aren't a problem here, unfortunately people still are."

He leaned back on the gate post. "You understand right? People being annoyed by some restrictions for two weeks is better than the whole village being wiped out because we were too lax."

((Gonna head off before I fall asleep on the keyboard and the drool makes all the letters print backwards onto my face.))

She called to the sentry.
" Here fine Take the weapons but please do not unsheathe the sword it has a very dear meaning to me. " She sighed. and also handed him her glock."

" Thank you."

Also Doctor I didn't come alone.
She motioned at the gate and a small furry cub came forth running threw the gate a** the pressed the lever letting him in,. Very young and very afraid." " This is Miko my son."

Reev quickly left the mess hall after eating and started for the meeting place once again. "I'm probably late," He said to himself, a little concerned. When he finally arrived he noticed two others waiting in the chapel. With a wave he stepped off to the side and waited with them.

Seraph sat just outside the gates when he saw a familiar female "SOphi?" he called out and walked into the gate "SOphie, I can't believe its you!" Miko, remember me, Seraph.." he smiled bending down to Miko "Sophi, its been a long time eh?" he patted Miko on the head and stood up

" S .. s seraph?" ( how do they no each other?)

((They where friends growing up, seperated when the apocolypes happened..I like to make story lines biggrin ))
"Yes, it is I" he smild standing up

She ran up to him hugging him tightly.
"O, how I missed you Seraph!."
She wondered why he had not mentioned her mate.

((Darkmoon, it's generally considered good form not to post in an RP thread until your profile is accepted, which it has not yet been. Also, this is 40 years since the apocalypse, neither of the characters here were even born then.

And Feral, is Miko going to be a second character, or just a character background point?))
