I've been dabbling a bit in a new book...or rather, a re-write of a classic...it's great...Pride and Prejudice and Zombies......it's great...it has all the classic characters plus zombies...and ninjas make an appearance from what I can see......

lolol AP English isn't anything special, really. Then again, I spent most of it making "wimminz get back in the kitchen" jokes. Whoops.

lol
its not that ap english is bad, its just that one of the two teachers at my school is not fun to have (lets just say that the words i would describe her with would probably be censored)

and i just remembered that i read some of jing: king of the bandits, and i liked that for no apparent reason xd

@Endranse- I saw that the last time I was at the bookstore and was slightly tempted. 8| However, I then remembered how much I hate the original novel, so I decided against it.

@Mr Eliot- Holy hell with cheesecake. That is like... one of my favorite comics ever. The humor and the craziness and oh sweet lord the improvement in the artwork is enough to make me weep. No, seriously, compare the first volume with the last one (or for further "ZOMG!", the last volume of Jing: King of Bandits- Twilight Tales~). Also Jing is very, very delicious and Kir is the best thing ever.

@Endranse- I really, really, really want to read that book. I almost bought it, but then I saw some other novel I wanted, so I didn't. But it look so good.

I barely read books that aren't manga but we had to check out some book that wasn't manga at school and I'm reading Boy Meets Boy and it's pretty good so far. Of course it's like 7th grade reading level but oh well. XD I was also reading the Leven Thumps series last year but I don't remember which book I was on so yeah. D:

I'll be honest. I read Harry Potter before it became OMGHUEG YOU MUST READ, and I still don't see how it became popular.

It's just not a good series.

Reading House of Leaves again. This would be my 4th readthrough.

Still have the stickynotes in it from the second readthrough.

I don't see what the big fuss is either, but I just love the series for some odd reason...

@Saucey- I like the sound of that book. And who cares about the Reading Level. I'm 19 and reading a book that middle schoolers read D:

I'm reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. It's pretty good. It's about people living in a psychiatric ward.

I'm a terrible person. I can't take fandoms for shows like Heroes and House seriously because my parents (and in the case of the latter, my grandmother) watch 'em, and it just makes me picture them spouting fandom-based memes and I ... don't even know.

@BL-

1. The Giver is still the best "out of context dirty moment" book ever.
2. AHHH KINO'S JOURNEY AHHHHH! <3
3. I have not read Companions of the Night, but her book Dragon's Bait is a guilty pleasure-ish favorite of mine.
4. Ahhh Howl's Moving Castle!

I have not had the time to read books lately. Nor do I really have any new ones. However, if my friend and I wind up dicking around in a bookstore soon, odds are I'll probably buy a English-German dictionary or a beginners guide to Russian or something. Or see if they have any cool bargain books again.
