Story: Father Elliot wanders from town to town, setting up missions and preaching during his off time, until called upon by the Vatican to strike a target.  

[Vampire Red Rose]

"I love you too Love." Roses mumbled as her husband left. She went back to her cornor and sipped her water quietly. Rose often kept to herself. She was often shy around large groups as well. Rose watched the tavern fill.
'Relax.' She thought. 'No one well bother me.'

Elliot stood next to a little booth with a small stack of pamphlets titled "saving light mission" and called out to passersby on the sidewalk about finding the path to God once again.

He could tell that humans appeared to be the minority in this town, which would make sense as this was in one of the worlds eterna dark regions. Elliot blinked a bit as a rather hostile vampire came up, obviously having a problem with him preaching.

He took a step back as the male vampire slapped the stack of pamphlets off of the counter and all over the sidewalk and knocking the little wooden booth out of the way before grabbing Elliot's tall form by the coat lapels, coughing a bit, slightly winded as the vampire slammed his back up against the wall behind him.

"We don't need your kind around here, preacher-man, scaring away our cattle." the vampire said with a sneer while bearing his fangs, punching the priest across the face while holding him against the wall.

Elliot let out a little sigh as his head snapped back from the punch against the wall behind him and blood drizzling down the side of his mouth due to the vampires super human strength, smirking a bit. "yur right boy-o, you surely not be wuntin me round 'ere, fact bein, yur already wishin you haddn't met me.." he replied with blood-tinged smile as he plunged the blade of a pocket sized knife into the vampire's abdomen and dragged it up toward his chest and yanking it out as the vampire took a step back and looked at the wound.

The vampire looked at it for a second, then back up at the priest with a 'are you really that stupid?' look on his face, until the laceration started to seer and burn and eat away at his body, looking at the priest in shock as he was slowly consumed by the wound.

Elliot touched the blade of the knife to his forehead and then used it to salute the vampire as a sendoff as what was left of it fell to the sidewalk into charred ashes.

The death of this vampire had caught the attention of a random 4 others that were in the immediate area that closed in on him quickly to kill him. Elliot pulled a small, acorn sized device from his belt, squeezed it until it snapped and threw it to the ground infront of him. The UV flashbang grenade went off silently but with a large pulse of UV light that instantly incinerated the attacking group.

After picking up most of the dropped pamphlets, Elliot stood and strode down the sidewalk and towards an inviting looking pub.

"Hello Elliot." She said to his back.

"Hello Elliot." She said to his back.

"Ahh, Mistress Rose... Bin a' fine long time since I've bumped into ye." Elliot said as he turned with an awkward grace and tipped his head to the lady while dabbing the back of his hand to the blood staining the side of his mouth. He wasn't barbaric or even violent unless protecting himself or some one in need, and actually gave respect when respect was given.

"Are you following me Elliot?" Rose asked, wishing she had her sword with her. Rose had last seen him a year ago. He nearly killed her husband.

"Nooo, no no no Madam .. I assure ye, my happenin upon ye was strictly coincidental ...eh, I hope yur not carryin' a grudge against lil'ole me, my lady," paused a moment and quirked his lip into a small friendly smile, "as you know by now, your counterpart was not my target, only in m'way." he offered. Elliot having had to battle with her beloved before to get at a target for the church.

"Ahhhh, what a fine las ye be. I am yur humble servant!" he said as he lit up tenderly at the offer of a drink, touching his one hand to his heart as he bowed toward her graciously and extended a hand to her to take so he could lead her to the pub like a gentleman.

Rose took his arm and leaned into him a bit. She had woken up rather sore this evening. Rose let him lead.
"What have you been up to Elliot?" She asked. Her hand touched his cross and she stiffened abit.

Elliot gently tucked her slightly cold hand under the crook of his arm and patted his freehand against her hand as she held onto him. "I bin wanderin an speadin tha good word, meetin new people, makin new friends, seein tha world ... Ah, here we be!" he proclaimed as he stepped forward a bit and pulled open the door to the Lunar Pub and held it open for Rose while bowing a bit and holding onto her hand with his free hand to escort her across the threshold.

"I see...Have a lot of crosses on you, Old Friend?" Rose asked as she stepped into the tavern. Her hand burned alittle. She had to feed soon or it would scar.

"Aye, yes ... tools of the trade I s'poze, Ach.. you've gon and burnt ye'self Madam, my apologies." he commented as he pulled out a silk hankercheif and dabbed a bit more at his bloodied mouth before gently taking her hand into his one hand and gently pressing the bloodstained hanky against the back of the burn as they stood at the entryway of the pub, "there we go, ye should be right as rain now!" he proclaimed while ushering her over to an open booth, quickly wiping at one of the empty bench seats with a hand before offering her to sit down, taking the other one across from her.

Rose smiled some. It had been along time since she had been treated like this. She watched him sit. Rose looked at her hand, his blood was almost gone. The booth they were in had no one around them.
"You do know I'll still have to feed, right?" She asked.

Nishi looked over at rose and the new man she was with come into her pub. Nishi got a cold shiver down her back. She had a bad feeling about him and she didn't like the fact that she kept getting theses weird shivers as well.

With a sigh walked over to then and asked rose "would you like a refile on your water? and is there any thing you would like sir" she asked the man. She might as well get over the meet and great there a lot of new people moving into the town. Nishi gave the two of then a smile as a nother shiver ran down her back.

'What a weird night' Nishi thought.
