Personality: Being the daughter of a god, she's a proud girl who kows her place in the pride. She was raised in a happy harem and she's very very sweet so she'll expect a Pad who wants to raise a family just as happy. She is very judgmental and critical of both banus as well as pads. She will compare every male to her father and won't allow herself to be demeaned in any way. She is a proper and polite banu and she expects to be treated accordingly, with all the respect and courtesy she deserves.
As a seer, her gift will not be particularly strong and most of the times her Sight will only show her events where strong emotions are being displayed. This means that her visions will rarely show her something trivial and in a pride like the U'W, she will see mostly births. Even though most of these visions will be pleasant at first, later on she will begin to See more disturbing things like arguments between Pads and their banus, lions dealing with death or loss, kajira subjugation, you name it. Her visions will not be very frequent and will rarely show her things from outside the pride. Her abilities are often triggered by touch.
As she grows she will be able to See important emotional events of a more distant future and will try to use it to See if a female is going to be happy with a certain pad. And fail miserably a good number of times... x]

Personality/History:Twit was enslaved when he was a little fledgling by a lion and he only managed to escape when his jailor (a hawk) died. He decided to stay with Mel because she looked a little like him and she was always very happy to see him. Under her protection, he has grown devoted to Mel but he's still quite timid around strangers. Now that she knows he won't leave, mel is often a little controlling with him - though never violent or forceful. |

Personality: Mozi is a quiet and gentle girl. Not forceful in any way, she knows when to wish for something and when to give up. Because of her Sight and past experiences, she will always live for others and be very dedicated to those she loves. She has grown more confident in time, finding comfort in the strict rules of the pride that clearly show her her place in the Ukuucha'Wafalme. When someone breaks protocol (even if it's something as simple as ignoring the proper use of her rank in a greeting), Mozi becomes extremely anxious.
Mozi is a strong Seer. At the demon pride she often had pleasant dreams of a beautiful far away land where she was surrounded by kind lions who loved and respected her but she won't understand what is happening until her father comes for her. Mozi's is mostly directed at events that might bring danger to herself or those she cares for.
History: Mozi was born in the Aikanaro'hini, the demon pride. her pale colors gave her the slave rank and she was ignored by her mother and often bullied by demons. Then her father came to pick her up and brought her and Zodok to his pride: [x]
She will stay in the U'W and follow all its rules to be a good banu and make daddy proud. At first she will will take the banu role with hopeful caution considering it not too different from her previous slave status at the demon pride. Mozi will quickly change her mind about it though and will enjoy the security and respect that come with being a polite little banu at the U'W. She is very close to her light colored brother, Zadok, who watched over her when they were with the demons.

Personality: A quiet and calculating boy. Somewhat detatched but with a hidden gentleness reserved for those who take the time to know him. He is very respectful of his "father" and his beybanu (aknowledging their brilliance) and loving towards his mother and sisters even though he can be rather blunt in his words. As a cub, he often took the role of the observer, secretely fascinated with the relationships within the pride.
While he will always be be keen on order and rules, Azhar will has a tendency to treat females like equals so he'll need girls who don't forget their place. He will get along best with clever banu but that isn't to say he won't go around collecting all the smart girls he can find. On the contrary, he will probably create his harem by gathering a group of girls he's confortable with - or those he feels might bring something interesting to his children - in a very natural way. While he is not particularly possessive in public, he gets very angry when someone harasses one of his girls.
His choice on who to make beybanu will depend only on who has the best attitude and ability for it.
History:
Even though he is part of Anwar's harem, he is not his son. Azhar's mother is in love with Obadias (Anwar's brother) and this litter was the result of a little oopsie night between them. Clever and manipulative, Anwar didn't mind it much - he sees it as yet another way to keep the two of them under his tight control.
Azhar's is going to be rather traumatized by the sudden death of a pregnant banu he met once (beybanu Tsubame of pad Achal) and that will make him very protective of his girls.

Personality: Laertes is an adventurous young lion, impulsive at times and usually passionate about everything he does. He is a social lion and enjoys meeting the rogues at the border and having a certain degree of power on who joins the pride. He loves the Suka’Fumo and enjoys the plays and costumes a great deal - he has quickly grown protective of this interesting pride he has found. He loves to watch the female nobles walking around as if they were little Goddesses and is quite pleased with the respect he is given (which he didn’t feel he deserved at first but now that he has a – proper - job, he believes that respect is very much justifiable).
History: He is a relatively new addition to the pride. Having a great deal of purple in his coat led him to be enticed to stay with promises of a pride full of joy, an easy life and eternal respect. He was far too tempted to resist and became a Noble. However, the adventurous lion found the noble life too idle for his taste and shortly after his arrival, Laertes requested to be transferred to the rank of Guard. His mother didn’t have a speck of purple on her coat so the young lion isn’t absolutely convinced about the inferiority of non-purple lions (he keeps that to himself though as he believes that anyone who can’t deal with the rules and customs of a pride should just leave and find a more suitable place to live).
He fell in love with his best friend, a Noble girl named Daizee who was going through a difficult moment. She gave birth to his cubs and they're trying to raise a happy family even though Laertes knows she still loves her former lover, a commoner. |

Personality: Banquo is usually quiet and reserved which often causes others to feel uncomfortable around him but because he's taking the role of a Scholar in the pride, he's trying to open up and be more social - still not doing a very good job at it though. He has acquaintances in the Forest that he visits on occasion. Unlike most of his traveling companions who chose the freedom of life in the forest and became Groundlings, Banquo required a more structured life and turned to the valley to find his home. He became a Scholar - probably because there wasn't much else he could do in such an artistic pride - and he prefers to teach older kids who don't remind him so much of the things he has lost.
Banquo has a bit of a tragic past and is often drawn to those with bright personalities, males in particular.
History: Banquo lived a rather boring uneventful life. He was a rogue since birth and mated another rogue later in life. His mate wanted to join a pride to ensure their cubs' safety but Banquo was too confident of his own strenght and wished to find a place that would match his ambitions, a pride where he could rise to a respectful position. This was his downfall. He lost his family to a pack of hyenas and he'll never forgive himself for being out hunting as they were being attacked. Since the dreadful event, Banquo hasn't spoken much.
He seems to have made a friend in the player Derasan and received some adornments from Waridua but everyone else is little more than an acquaintance to Banquo.
Prompt: The great white lion was sitting in silence as he watched the moon, thinking about the events that had brought him to these strange lands. He had indeed been lonely, easy prey to the charismatic lion who was as bright in character as he was in pelt. Banquo had quietly merged with the strange group as they moved closer to a pride that promised fun and comfort. After losing his family in a violent confrontation out in the rogue lands and threading many miles all by himself, drained and bitter, the white lion needed to someone like the leader of the group he had later joined, a lion who spread a strange, captivating aura of happiness around him. To this day he still blamed himself for not being with his family when they’d been slaughtered but Banquo found that the bright lion’s presence was enough to silence his worries and regrets, finding some measure of comfort in his life once again. As such, he was not willing to let go of this new-found source of warmth and peace and hastily decided to follow the bright lion wherever he went.
It was probably not the best idea he’d ever made as Banquo quickly realized he had some reservations regarding this pride. For what little he understood of it, this pride was filled with loud and vain creatures for the most part, lions who lived deep in the forest and were regarded as “odd” by everyone else and purple lions full of prejudice and arrogance who walked around like they were superior to every living creature around them. The white lion sighed, leaning against a large rock formation close to where he’d found the abandoned den he now called home. Though he had been accepted into the small group, he had never really bonded with the other lions and everyone seemed to eye him suspiciously, as if they were constantly wondering what he was thinking. He wasn’t even asked to join the search for the missing cubs and he was worried about the little ones in the forest. It was his fault, surely, it was to be expected that others were wary of his near-mute personality.
Despite his doubts and the fact that Ban is loyal to none but himself (and to a lesser degree to the odd fellow that brought him to this pride), he was fully committed to the Suka’Fumo from the moment he was accepted and he will respect the rules that have been explained to him. After all, despite its "faults" this noisy pride seems like the perfect place to escape his sorrow.
The white lion yawned, closing his eyes as he listened for the sounds of the slumbering pride around him, considering his options for the future. No artistic path for him, that much was sure. Banquo hoped to find something that would fit his character a little better. A Scholar perhaps, one that only teaches older students. The sight of innocent little cubs is still far too harsh on him, after all. |
