Using the grenade blasts as a distraction, Lath rose to his hands and knees and tried to make it into the ditch to the right. (Stealth check)

Two more fired away, missing the umbaran wide but the other hitting Darr'ghul with another bolt.

Taking a shot at the other thug where the lieutenant once stood, Dev turned and fired, hitting the guy with a strong blaster to the chest, dropping him.

(10 damage to Des.)  

[K-Blade]

Aurora popped back onto her feet in one swift motion, pulling her saber hilt out and activating the glowing blue bladed weapon to defend her crewmates.
(Lightsaber Defense activate. +1 deflect to REF Def)

Nurak drew a Razor bug from his bandoleer and hurled it at the remaining combatants.

Fire came from the right, bouncing off the blade of the jedi.

Moving off to the left side of the road, Darr moved into the cover of a nearby tree, taking a breath to revive himself, after that grenade and second shot, he was now hurting, and needed medical attention, but that would have to wait.

The fire erupted from the barrels of the thugs, missing all their marks wildly. Dev switched his fighting stance to a defensive one, firing away. His bluebolt fired true, knocking another one back again.

Lath poked up from the ditch, pistol in hand, and shot one of the thugs on the other side of the ditch, catching him off guard.  

[K-Blade]

Aurora bounced the incoming blaster bolt off the blade of her lightsaber and called upon the power of the Force as she concentrated on raising her Force Shield once more.

Nurak glanced at the jedi and felt a slight smirk tug at his lips. "If you're gonna play blaster sponge I might as well give you a hand." Through the dark side he reached out to the jedi and restored her vitality. At the same time he felt his fingers grow numb from the effort.

Using Dark Transfer on Aurora. I gain 1 Dark Side Point and move 1 step down the condition track. Crummy roll so Aurora only gains 5 hit-points.

The Thug fires into the fray, missing his target wildly.

Peaking out of his cover, Darr leveled his blaster's barrel at the next enemy and fired, just clipping them.

As the next thug got bolted down into oblivion, desperate times called for desperate measures. A grenade was prepped and thrown, only to hit a branch and bounce right back at it's origin. Shrapnel buried deep into one, killing the already weakened man and nearly killing the last thug, who now found himself filled with metal.

With one attacker left, Lath drew a bead on him and fired, a crimson bolt flying from the barrel of his pistol and beelining for the thug.

Watching the last thug go down, Dev holstered his pistol and gave a sigh as he clutched his arm.

"I was not expecting that," he muttered to himself, vowing that he'd give an extra fee for hostile defenses. He had taken two down himself, the lieutenant was stunned, and for the most part, he was very displeased with the initial turbulence.
