I know how that goes. I have relatives on my dad's side and I can never remember how to spell the country's name half the time. They're from Yugoslavia. Half the time I forget that.

Yugoslavia doesn't exist anymore.

That's right. I never remember what the place they live in is called half the time. I'm about to go look it up. My dad's family lives in Slovenia I always forget that.

It's alright, but I'm nit-picky about this sort of thing, as a history nerd.

It's fine. I like History as well but for some reason I can never remember Slovenia and Yugoslavia pops into my head. It's just weird for me.

i understand. my fiance's family is half in germany and the other is in austria (sp?) i always get confused as to who lives where.
