Kaede easily swung the Rasengan down towards his ankles trying to force him back.

Kumori grinned when she did that, indeed he did get pushed back but at the same time he stuck his sword in the ground so the rasengan would get caught up in it for a while and stop its constant spining. At which time Kumori took several steps foward to shorten the distance between himself and Kaede so his chains could reach her, and thus swung his chain at her leg hoping it would tangle up in her leg.

Kaede growled and quickly jerked her Rasengan back before it could wrap around the sword. It knocked into the side of the sword and towards Kumori. She grinned devilishly as this might be to her advantage. As it flung back Kumori had stepped right into it's path and now it would wrap around his ankles. That was one worry down. While tugging back on the Rasengan Kaede easily put her foot out stepping down quickly once she felt the slightest pressure from Kumori's chains trapping it under her foot.

Kumori didn't look pleased at the fact she had avoided, but had more pressing concerns on his hands as the rasengan came back while he was trying to catch Kaede he got himself stuck in it. His only way to avoid complete binding is to have kept a wide stance which he did from his running and avoided being captured completely by the rasengan and with that has successfully stop the Rasengan's movements. For now at least.

Kaede grinned and yanked the Rasegan hard. With one foot wrapped and his feet so far apart it was the perfect chance to pull Kumori off his feet she even had the added bonus of leverage. While she pulled she swung the charged Raikyu at Kumori's head. He would not only be unbalanced and distracted as well.
(note the Raikyu is charged!)

Kumori was pulled off his balance by Kaede's act along with that the Raikyu is heading towards his head. Although Kumori doesnt exactly know what the Raikyu is he still didn't want to get hit in the head. So while off balance and falling backwards Kumori decided to go with it and threw his back leg behind his other lag and sort of fell sitting down, avoiding the Raikyu, then he kept going back and rolled on his back then his shoulder and then back to his feet in one swift back roll.
( its an Aikido back roll Ushiro Ukemi, though slightly different i know for sure its suposed to have a different name but for the love of me i can't remember it, but its a specific name for when you are from a standing unbalanced potision, so instead of being pushed you are thrown off balance we practise it allot. Hard for me since i rather regain my balance fast )

The moment Kumori hit the ground Kaede pulled on the rasengan even harder dragging him forward and preventing him from completing it roll. He was now laid out on the ground exposed just the way Kaede liked her prey. She grinned even harder and swung the Raikyu around and up aiming to come down right into Kumori's chest. She kept the Rasengan tight to prevent him from regaining his feet.

Kumori looked anoyed, he didn't like being on the ground so much, but to avoid the Raikyu he rolled sideways away from the direction. Instead of trying to get up.

Kaede growled pulling the Raikyu trying to minimize the hit into the ground. As it hit the ground it discharged electricity making the air around Kumori buzz and vibrate. She yanked the Raikyu back and basically tossed it behind her she pulled her sword and yanked on the Rasengan again to keep Kumori on the ground before she rushed him with the sword.

Kumori was extremely releaved he didn't decide to catch the Raikyu with his bare hands after he felt what it did when it discharged into the ground. Right after that he felt the tug and noticed Kaede rushing towards him again with her sword. Kumori still flat on the ground didn't have the time to get up yet so he quickly pulled out his second short sword got ready to deffend against Kaede's blow.

As Kaede rushed Kumori she whipped the Rasengan around. Being attached to Kumori's ankle the chain whipped around him threatening to hit is multiple times as she kept it moving.

Kumori was seriously pissed off at her Rasengan and the chain but maintain his cool and did not focus on them. For now the chains weren't his top priority its the attacker using using them. So he kept his guard up untill Kaede got close enough.

Kaede re gripped the Rasegan closer up to keep the chain tight she yanked hard to straighten his leg and slashed down at his ankle hoping to take his foot right off.

Kumori wasn't going to just lie back and let that happen and quickly swung his sword down against the direction of her sword blocking it before it could reach. By using that small counter he pulled back with his leg. If Kaede was holding the chain really hard she would have been pulled with it too and lost some of her balance.

Kaede pulled her sword back and just set her weight back against the chain. It was Kumori's limited strength trying to pull against Kaede's entire weight with gravity on her side. She swung her sword lower aiming for just under where the chain was around his ankle if would be incredible hard for Kumori to reach that low with his sword and also get around the chain that was now acting as a shield for her sword.
