Personality: Active and athletic, Ru has a natural affinity toward combat and a graceful way of moving which is obvious even as a cub. He is something of a misanthrope and feels very strongly that most people are idiots, including members of his own family, but he would still kill anyone who threatened his family. He'll develop an appreciation for history as he ages, but as a cub he's all about the action. Also, he's just a little twisted when it comes to morality and loves to shock people by expression opinions which go against the norm or exhibiting behavior which may be a bit beyond the pale. He has his own sense of honor and despises thieves but also believes that a person must be able to defend themselves and their possessions, or else they deserve to lose them. Sometimes he hears speech a little oddly in his head and must take a moment or two to puzzle out what's been said.
History: A b*****d son of a noble lady of the Suka'Fumo, Ru was raised with his two sisters outside of the pride and abandoned by their mother when they were juveniles. He did the best he could to provide for them until the god of hate decided to play a trick on him and lure him away from his siblings, convincing him in the process that they had been killed by pirates and that it was his fault. Ru began training himself obsessively to fight so that he could one day avenge his sisters' "deaths." When he deemed himself ready, he went to the one place he knew would welcome someone interested in killing pirates...the Stormborn.

Personality: Not much of an explorer at all, Pizarro's name is actually quite the misnomer. It's not that Pizarro is a coward or anything. Actually, yeah it is. When all's said and done, the poor boy is afraid of pretty much everything involved with being part of a crew. Warm, wet blood makes him kind of ill and his own blood makes him faint. Nevertheless, he is a proud lion and unwilling to admit to his weaknesses, thus he turns his willpower on himself to force himself to do things he finds repugnant. He will also develop a definite skill for bluffing, which is probably the only way he is able to convince his brother that he's still superior and a worthy competitor. He has no problem using his bulk as an intimidating factor to avoid violence.
History: An easy one would be to have his weaknesses uncovered. Depending on when it happened, I could see it being a real problem for him, since that would mean he might not get chosen to be part of some Captain's crew, which would be a colossal disappointment.
Naturally, I'd like him to eventually settle down and find a girl, preferably one who's a bit of a shrew and constantly nagging him that he should do more and try to be more and thus advance the family. I would also like it if she was cruel to him (only in private of course) about his aversion to blood and violence.
Oh, and I would love for him to be confronted with something scary or violent and simply fail to cope. Maybe have his failure result in himself or someone else getting injured or even killed (like an NPC, maybe). He would never be able to live with the guilt, and spend the rest of his life trying to find excuses that made it not his fault.

Personality: Isti is very sensitive to teasing and insults. Not that he's the sort to plop down on his bum and cry, but rather he is quick to defend himself with his claws. The fastest way to see his claws is to mention the meaning of his name, which he thinks is entirely too wussy. Isti likes to think of himself as a deep thinker and clever planner, but in truth many of his plots are fairly shallow and poorly thought out. They are memorable, however, since Isti is convinced the best way to overcome his wussy name is to be as bad-a** as possible, which means he's probably spent more time bleeding than most cubs his own age, and he fights mean. The bleeding isn't necessarily from fights, though. Sometimes it's because he decided prove his ferocity and bravery and ended up falling or getting squished or broken or...well you get the picture. Unfortunately for Isti, he really isn't very good at reading people, which is why he tends to interpret so many things as insults and mockery when it really isn't. He reads too much into words and phrases and actions, and has a knack for twisting things to suit his own needs - at least in his own head. So that girl he likes who says, "it's nice to see you," in passing will suddenly be trying to secretly telegraph her attraction to him. Isti obsesses over that sort of thing, like the difference between "it's a pleasure" and "it's nice" or "I'm sorry" versus "I apologize."
History: Born into the Ongozana'ke, Isti grew up with a great many relatives around him, but few other cubs. His cubhood was as normal as could be expected with a blind mother who was also a twin, and he grew up liking most of his family a great deal. When he came of age to either leave or fight for a place in the pride, however, he couldn't convince himself it was worth it to maybe have to fight his own father or uncle for a place, and so he set off after two of his more mature cousins, Asper and Atheris.
When he caught up with them it turned out Atheris had fallen in love with a lioness in the Stormborn and allowed himself to be enThralled for love of her, but he and Asper could not believe that, and so the two mounted a daring rescue mission that inadvertently won them acceptance to the pride.

Personality: Despite her youth, Ghazaala is wise to the ways of the world. Not through personal experience, exactly, though she's had her small share of experiences, but through observation. Ghazaala isn't the type to quietly observe from a corner, preferring to be involved in the action as much as she can stand to be, but avoiding conflict and strife. She is verbally expressive, but does not emote well, except for her eyes, which give her away to those who know how to read them. She tends to expect too much of both herself and her friends, but she will forgive her friends over and over, and rarely forgive herself. She can be taken advantage of by those she loves, but strangers will have a much harder time of it, because she is naturally suspicious of their motives.
History: Ghazaala was raised by her mother, never knowing her father because (her mother told her) he had tried to kill her and she'd fled in fear of her life and that of her daughter. She grew up loved and cared for, but very isolated.
Then she got knocked up by a complete moron, had six kids, left two of them with the moron, and went back to wandering with the other four. Shortly thereafter she and two daughters, Meera and Tahti, were captured by Voldemaras who renamed her Kvinna and took her to the Myrsky Syntynyt as a thrall.
