... Looks like they were a bit inconsistent with the beanie since on the normal sprite the pin is inthe middle while the dark sprite has it on the side and "Mom" is more to the side on the normal, while it's in the middle on the dark sprite. Can't blame them though, since I sometimes get inconsistent with hair, myself.

But anyway... I can help you with the sprite, if you'd like. :3

It's not fail! It's better then some first sprites I've seen.
Let's see... The shading kinda needs work, but it's still good. It just needs more darker colors, like on the sleeves, a bit on the shirt, and on the skirt so it looks less 2-D. You could also use colors to smoothen edges up, so it looks more natural, like around the neck. Use a darker shade of Pearl's skin color and put it around the collar, so it's more smooth.
Oh, and don't save it as J-PEG. That mess sprites up badly. Instead save it as a GIF. or a PNG.

Hm... I would say add more color, so the change from blue to dark blue and blue to light blue is more smoother. Like I said above, it would make it look less 2-D. Also, never use pure black. While I'm not exactly sure why this is so, but AA sprites never use pure black, and it's probably the same with sprites from other games (haven't checked, though). Just use a dark grey or blue instead.
It might also be a good idea to not use the colors Paint provides you, but your sprite looks fine, so you don't have to change it.

But to the statement about sprites from other video games not using pure black -- that's true. In many sprites, they use dark brown, purple, or grey colours for the outlines. c:]-

I've been roleplaying as Nicky for a while now.
And there are a ton of different interpretations of fem!Nick from what I recall.
Still cool to know there are still a few out there that like to genderbend our favorite character. mrgreen

It was one of the mods in this PW paradox rp I'm apart.
