Born to the southern water tribe, Ryujan spent a normal childhood amongst the glaciers.
He hunted seals for the tribe, gathered special plants, traded pelts with travelers, an learned water
bending. As is typical at age 14 he took the rite of passage "Ice dodging", after three harsh days he successfully guided
he an his father through the glaciers an back to the tribe earning the standard forehead marker stating he was a man and full fledged member of the tribe. From then on he took on a permanent hunter role.
After 2 years he prove his worth to the tribe by repelling a assault by a group of fire bending mercenary's by himself.
This lead to his appointment as Chief, since the previous die just ays later of the "cold fever". Since then he has work
tirelessly to ensure the safety an prosperity of the tribe as well as keeping a special eye on the new avatar.

Animal: __________[ background]>>> There isn’t much to say about Akiko’s life, it was a normal one for an Air Bender except for a few things here and there. Born and raised in the Eastern Air Tempe from an early age began her training and after few years the monks came to the conclusion she was somewhat of a prodigy being able to capture concepts and learn techniques easier and faster than the others allowing her to rise higher into the ranks. By the time she was around 14 years old she had mastered the basics of art bending.
When she was 16 the Head Sister feel deathly ill dying a few months afterwards leaving Akiko to take her place. Many of the other monks disagreed with the choice thinking Akiko was still too young and inexperienced but in the end they agreed. Only time would tell if she indeed was suited for the job.
Now 18 she has been Head Sister for two years and has been doing a good job, of course it isn’t just all work for her. Akiko still likes to pull the casual prank here and there despite what the older monks may think about it. She is kind of glad to be Head Sister due to it giving her the opportunity to travel to the other temples when ever needed, which she commonly takes advantage to explore the world small parts at a time but never for too long. Her duties don’t allow it.

__________[ background]>>> Growing up in Ba Sing Se, Yun led the life of a commoner. His father was a farmer and his mother worked in a tea shop, serving to rich nobles. His parents lead a peaceful life, they never did anything out of the ordinary or unexpected; a trait Yun picked up early in life. Yun had one sibling, a younger sister named Xing, whom he cared for and protected until she was able to protect herself.
At the age of 12, Yun's power began to manifest, slowly at first, but eventually maturing as he did. Training was never easy for him, his father worked him so hard that he had maybe an hour of free time a day. This didn't stop him though, using the hour he trained vigorously by himself, until one day an Earth Bending instructor passed by his house and noticed the boys skill. With a little persuasion, he was allowed to leave with the man to study properly as the mans student.
Ten years passed, and in that short time, Yun's life had begin to shape its self. His body had become sculpted and his skills with bending had increased tenfold. His teacher was very proud of him for all that he had accomplished, but was saddened when he had nothing more to teach him. In their final duel, Yun bested his teacher, before saying his farewell.
After leaving his master, he disappeared from society for many years. His history at this point is very much unknown. Most believe he went underground to live amongst the badgermoles and to learn more from them. What ever it was he did he didn't return until another five years had passed. At this point in his life there was no one better at earthbending and so he decided to make a little coin in the arena. Soon enough he had enough money to buy himself anything he desired. His one desire was to share his knowledge and so he built himself a school, where he would teach the students all that he had learned and that is exactly what he did. __________[ extra]>>> |

His mother had always told him tales of how brave of a warrior his father, Yun Kato, was. As Tekkai grew older he wished to travel around the world in search of his farther, but things changed when he found out he could earthbend. He began to fight in underground/illegal tournaments. One day one of the tournaments was crashed by the Dai Li. Instead of running Tekkai tried to fight off the Dai Li agents. He lost and was thrown in jail. He soon escaped. Gale and his older brother, Zane, who was 2 years older than Gale, were left with their dad. After a couple years, their dad couldn't take it anymore. He began to abuse the two of them, but Zane would stand up for Gale so he wouldn't get hurt. Later, when Gale turned 6, he discovered he could bend air. The dad got scared and ended up giving Gale up for adoption. Later, when Gale was 10, he ran away from the adoption center because he couldn't take it anymore. He ended up staying like this for five years until he was found and taken in by an old friend of his mother's, who was also a master with Air. Over the years, Gale became great at bending air.
