Perhaps 「あほう」「ahou」? It means "Stupid/silly" but beyond Otaku I am unsure of what else there could be ... When you say Nerd, what exactly do you mean? Gamer? Recluse? Unusually smart?

The Japanese 'f' sound is a lil tricky but think of and 'h' sound and a 'w' sound, somewhere in between the two is the Japanese 'f'.
Hint: If you put an 'h' sound while exhaling (while your lips are rounded like you you are saying 'oo'), you will have a good idea of what the 'fu' is supposed to sound like.
