I don't know if I translated right, either...

Again, very close! I spotted only one thing really...

You missed a particle. "Watashi no namae Yoshie Akira desu" should read "Watashi no namae wa Yoshie Akira desu" Particles. These are probably the worst part of Japanese, very tricky.

[I tend to use よろしくおねがいします rather than どうぞよろしく however... but there are variations :U]

Lovely! A few points:

You're first year of university right(based on your age...)? so instead of gaku (gaku just means school/learn) it should be daigaku which is the word for university. So...watashi wa daigaku ichi nen sei desu.

The only other point is something you guys haven't necessarily been taught. For ages, there are a few alterations of pronunciations for certain numbers. These are:

ichi sai --> issai
hachi sai --> hassai

It's quite common for there to be slight pronunciation differences based on the number and the counter used. This is basically extra knowledge though, but it goes a long way towards your understanding and sounding more fluent 3nodding
