Carys laughed, "I've heard that Peeves is horrible!" She smiled, as she remembered all the tales her father had told about the pranks of Peeves. 'Is that Celeste?' She noticed the timid girl slip into the common room unnoticed, 'I'll just leave her alone for now... She obviously doesn't want to be seen.' She turned her attention back to Nelly and Hiatt, only for Nelly to call her out, 'Never mind...' She cooed along with Nelly when Spike entered and whispered to Celeste. Deciding to give them privacy, she turned to Nelly, "So, any one want to play a game?"

Nelly looked at the girl then for a few moments she turned back to her friends.
"Oh I do!" said Nelly.
Nelly raised her hand just a little above her head.

"Let's play who can eat the most disgusting flavour jelly beans! My mom bought them for me."
Nelly pulled out the bag filled with colourfull beans.
"Who shall go first?" With a little devious tone in her voice.

Spike spoke up. "Hey Nelly, I bet you I could eat three earwax and three grass flavors without gagging." He chuckled to himself. His older cousin always gave him those flavors and he had learned to tolerate them.

"I'm game. Gimme one." Carys held out her hand, waiting for the most disgusting flavor Nelly could find. While Carys was an only child, she had played similar games with the neighborhood kids, and won quite a few times.

Nelly turned her head.
"hmm...THAT'S EASY! I've got billions of cousins that dare me to do that."
Nelly found the earwax beans and the grass beans she poured them all into her mouth
her eye twitched a little
but she managed to swallow and chew.
She fell onto the floor and managed to get back up
"I didn't gag."laughed Nelly trying to get some air.
She handed Cary's the bag of beans.

He chuckled and gently squeezed Celly's arm. "Ha, pretty brave. But I bet you can't eat vomit or rotten egg."

She watched them all eating jelly beans with obviously weird flavors. She held onto Spike's arm quietly, not daring to ask for one since they didn't sound very appealing.

He offered her some anyway. With a knowing smile, he pointed to his hand. "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. When they say every flavour, they mean every flavour. You've heard some of them, but those are only the bad ones. There are some really good ones though. Like this one." He picked up a pink bean with flecks of black in it. "This is strawberry mousse." He pointed to a light brown one, then a white one with lighter white in it, and finally to green and white one. "The first one is buttermilk, really delicious. Then this one's marshmallows and the last one is peppermint. They're not all bad. Here, try some. I didn't grab any bad ones for you, I promise."

Hiatt watched the others with much amusement. Ever since his incident with a particularly nasty flavour, he never cared for the beans. So, he definitely wasn't going to volunteer to play it. The boy was very content with simply sitting there and watching them test their will. He wondered if anyone had ever run into a flavor worse than vomit. He reckoned he had, at least in his opinion.

Carys grinned at Nelly's reaction and took the bag. She hunted around for the worse flavor she could, only to stop when Spike said he thought they couldn't eat vomit or rotten egg, "I bet I could." 'Even though I'll be sick later...' She searched the bag, finding a rather disgusting looking bean, which she assumed was rotten egg, "Bottoms up?" She popped the bean into her mouth, only to want to spit it back out, 'This is so disgusting!' She forced herself to swallow it, and grimaced, "There. Now, who's next?"

((Just so you guys know, I have classes from 9:30-1:45 today... so I won't be online after 9:00, or back online until 2:00, or later... if something happens, feel free to drag Carys along with one of your characters, if not, then I'll post when I get back...))

Once Zyk saw Hiatt, he fought the blush that came mto his face. "h-h-h-hi. I'm Zyk." He said. Then he heard the Bertie Bott's Game was going on. "No. I'm allegic to a couple of the flavors actully and when I get vomit, I vomit." He said.

Hiatt looked up at Zyk and smiled warmly. "'Ello Zyk, I'm Hiatt," He told him, just in case he hadn't heard him when he first entered the room. He looked over at the game and shook his head. "I'm glad I'm not the only one not playing this game," He added with a small laugh.
