Don't worry, it's not the boolProp cheat that caused those problems. I had them in my game. It was down to a bug in the game code. Just make sure that if you do use boolProp that you turn it off before you save and exit a lot.

oo I thought I knew everything about it...why should you turn it off before saving? sad I don't want to lose anything...but then again, I like reasoning razz

Just to be on the safe side really. I've saved and exited with it switched on before and had no damage done but I'd rather switch it off if I remember just in case.

Seeing as my computer's dead at the moment I can't get to my sims and sims2 games on my laptop, but I have the version for the Playstation 2. Don't suppose you have any cheats for that one do you? I've tried a few I've found on the net, but none of them work.

(I only really want money cheats, as I like my sims to live in splendour...... sweatdrop )

I've had a real hard time getting the cheat gnome to work. One website told me it would appear over the mail box when entered correctly, but nothing happened.
Perhaps I missed something, I'll check the link. Thanks! xd

Thanks a bunch! I finally got it to work, so now my sims live in splendour!
Turns out it was apearing at the very edge of my lot, hence the reason I couldn't find it next to my mail box. sweatdrop
I also found I shouldn't have been pausing the game when entering the cheats after getting the cheat gnome, it renders them inaffective.
