Felezési'idő and Sigurd grew up together in the same pride. Lez was the leader's daughter and had the unfortunate habit of falling asleep at the drop of a leaf, in human terms narcolepsy. Siggy was also a important figure, son of the high councilman who was adviser to the pride leader. It was determined that the young Lez needed a watcher as well as a friend and so Siggy and Lez became playmates. As time passed playmates grew to mates and the pride rejoiced. They love each other very much and both are devoted to their pride but life will not make things easy for these two kind souls. Smoke is in the air and where their is smoke there is fire.

About them: As young hares Cat'arina and Akeel played out in the rougelands. They were nothing more then friends and would have remained that way if a twist of fate hadn't changed everything. Fast talking and kind hearts prevented the two from becoming dinner but it didn't prevent them from being 'invited' to join a lion as his companions. Once back at the lion's home they were split but their journey together and the adventures they went through forged a bond that was stronger then mere friendship, that of love. So while they were not the companions of the same lion they were still mates. They even got the promise of the lion that their children will be protected as well; as if they were part of the family.

The two became a fast-flying pair, Thabi acting almost as the larger male's 'wing-man'. Little did he know, however, that she was quite infatuated with him. When female after female turned him down, Anapenda seemed to start seeing Thabi as more than just the friend who was always there to listen to his sob stories about 'broken hearts'. Or perhaps she would have taken a closer look at her den walls and realized just how, oddly, bare they were, even after years of devoting her life and Chini’s to conning other creatures out of baubles and shinies for fake seer visions. But such was Aisling’s lot in life, and it was that very ability to imagine gold mountains out of air that made her act so very paper-thin, so very easy to see through. Nobody with half an ounce of common sense would ever believe the things she “saw” to be real, or even remotely possible; nobody could. And if she had taken a closer look at Chini, she would have realized that his was a similar, but somehow completely different problem. Because Chini had no such imagination of which to speak. Nobody would believe their lives to be as dull as he imagined them to be. Nobody could. But all Aisling saw were those dull walls devoid of decorations, those sparsely covered floors, and all she realized was that she wanted more.

Zuberi and Ornella had grown up together in the same traveling pride. They hated each others guts and found each other to be absolutely mindbogglingly obnoxious. He found her annoying for Ornella's stuck up way of thinking and always having to be right. While she found him annoying because of how loud and egotistical Zuberi got. It is during their adolescent years that the pride splits, causing them both to depart from each other. They grew into adulthood, thinking about their fights and thanking the Gods for getting rid of the other. Then one day they had run into each other. They just didn't recognize one another at first, but once they had relearned the other and come to realize just who they are it was to late. They were already in love and unable to fully 'hate' the other like they used to.

About her: Ajuoga was always the special case. She'd always been a little delusional, crazy even and was avoided by many in her pride. Even though she was avoided, she didn't avoid them. There was one specific male in the pride she would go out of her way for: Lungile. He was one of the many guards in the pride, adored by everyone for his honesty and vigilance. One late night, she approached him, cloaked in darkness, wanting him for herself. Managing to feed him a mulled wine, spiked with a strong aphrodisiac, Ajuoga thought that if she had given herself to him, he would love her back. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case, for as soon as Lungile had come back to his senses, it didn't take long for him to realize what the lioness had done. Immediately he reported it to the officials and the news spread through like wildfire. She was immediately banished from the pride, even though the law stated that she should've been stoned, but after discovering (to their horror) she might be pregnant, they decided to throw her out to save her children's lives. Since then, Ajuoga has wandered the roguelands with a heavy heart and belly, believing that Lungile is still the only one for her.

It might have happened had she not met the rogue. He charmed her, and she decided he would be her mate. He agreed, equally in love with her...and then the pride found out. Though the male's intentions were pure, he looked too much like one of the outsiders who once enslaved the pride, and he was chased off and Mwitu kept in a cave, 'for her own safety'. Mwitu escaped with the help of an old friend, and took to the rogue lands to find her beloved...finding out after a couple of weeks that she was pregnant. The coming cubs have her even more determined to find their father.

Belarra rested at the lake where she had first fell in love with Al' Haran. There was a slight breeze blowing, keeping her nice and cool in the hot summer heat. Al'Haran had confessed that he had loved her, that he had always loved her. Even when they were little and played in the lake. She smiled thinking of how innocent they once were. She knew he would have loved to watch their cubs play at the lake. Oh how he would have loved to chase them around playfully and play hide n' seek with them. She had to remind herself to not think of how things could have been if he was alive, if he hadn't had the accident. It was always hard to not think about it, though. Al'Haran had died trying to save a young cub from drowning in the lake that Belarra loved so much.

Pfft, Kono' would have none of that! Kengee's brother eventually gave up and left, and Kengee kind of just... stuck around. Kono' reluctantly allowed Kengee to tag along with her and.. well, things slowly clicked between the two over time!

About them: Ciar is a gentleman rogue, smooth talking, easy on the eyes, with a wicked sense of humor. He enjoys life to the fullest and certainly lives in the moment. Kyla is playful, sassy, with a quick wit and a dry sence of humor, and is a girl many find too hot to handle. She is most definitely the 'man' in any relationship and the pants are a slim size 6, thank you very much. The two met by accident, or rather they met because of an accident. Kyla came across a very pathetic and tangled Ciar hanging about four feet off the ground in a Massi hunting net. Seeing the attractive female, Ciar tried to play off his predicament and only succeeded in sticking his paw in his mouth. Faintly amused at the devil-may-care male, Kyla decided to take pity on him and help him down, but not before making him ask nicely of course. Since then the two have been a pair, at first with only Ciar terribly enamored of the sassy and independent Kyla, but like any foot fungus, the boy grew on her and now the two are not only best friends, but perhaps becoming something more.

Born to parents who had ironically chosen to nest in the same tree the duo lived surprisingly secluded lives until one fateful day when Amadi fell from the sky! And by sheer luck, landed in Rin's nest below. The friendly, cheerful, young Eagle greeted a far less enthusiastic little Hawk and from that point on was determined to make friends. A more cautious and responsible sort, Rin was slow to warm up to her silly companion, but growing up together has had its affect on the pair's relationship. No matter how much Rin may puff and sigh in exasperation at her mate's antics, she loves him all the same.
