Arabian NI~IGHTS~ Name: Rashne Owner: Fenshae Newbie: Nope (but to U'W, yes! *shot*) Arabian MO-OON~ Name: Naveed Owner: Fenshae Link to video: Are You Sad -- Our Lady Peace (couldn't find a video with lyrics...sorry sad but at least you can understand everything he says unlike some of his songs LOL) Why this video: Well I was originally going to use Our Lady Peace's other song, uh, "Naveed", but it wasn't quite the right fit. So I went trawling through other OLP songs. They're one of my favorite bands smile Personality translation: Naveed's got a little bit of a hero complex. He's got a BIG HEART and more than just taking Banu for status and comaraderie, he genuinely believes he's rescuing them. He'll spend a lot of time looking for females "in need" (however he chooses to define that). Unfortunately for him he's got 1.) kind of a big head (and a tendency to try and help those who don't want it) and 2.) a little bit of a short temper. He's not a bad guy, he just loves too much and is easily frustrated.

A song about new starts after things going wrong, of making things right from there and forever. Personality translation: Sra will do his best to do the right thing and be a strong, commanding Pad. I could see him putting on the face of being a stern and disapproving male, perhaps even striking a girl he's fond of, because he's seen others do so. He'll discover that not only was this a mistake, but that it is not who he is either. He'll beg her forgiveness and vow to never act that way again, promising her his undying love and adoration from there on. Before that of course, he'll be an imperious, strutting little snot that has yet to learn that lesson. He will believe females should "keep their place", yada yada, and will stick to what he thinks is "proper" with determination, believe himself to be fulfilling his name as obedient and compliant.

Arabian MO-OON~ Name: Azzam'asim (Determined Protector) Owner: hibi-tea Link to video: Undisclosed Desires - MuseWhy this video: I recently discovered this song, and loved it enough to want to base a character around it? It also inspired me for his plots in the future where he takes on a Banu who is practically a Kajira and completely distrusting of males because of her background and his struggles with his obsession to heal her emotional wounds and gain her love. Essentially, he grows up like any other Pesar does, and eventually takes a Banu in the pride as his Beybanu before leaving on his quest. He believes he loves her and asks her father if he can have her upon return, and leaves thinking he will come back with a nice Banu who will listen to his Beybanu and have a nice family like everyone else. When he ends up in the Rogue Lands, he finds this Banu who is broken in every sense of the word and wants to help her. At first she refuses him, and not quite knowing how to deal with rejection, he follows after her. This cat and mouse game continues until he becomes obsessed with getting her to come back with him to the U'W without having to scar her anymore in the process. As this happens, he completely forgets about the Beybanu he left behind and ends up breaking her heart and losing her. Essentially I want this journey in trying to fix this broken woman he brought home with him to rob him of what he thought life was going to be like and destroy his confidence on whether or not he can actually fix her. Personality translation: A passionate male, Azzam'asim puts his all into things and wears his heart on his sleeve. He believes passion guides the soul and without passion, one is nothing. He likes to experience things to the fullest, both good and bad. His passion leads him to rash decisions at times, but he tries to uphold the ideals his parents have taught him to the best of his ability. He believes all have a chance at redemption, whether male or female and that no one should be denied this because of past transgressions.

It's this silent sorrow of following in foot steps and not his own dreams. Personality translation: I want him to basically think he has to follow his father and mothers footsteps and feels that he is compared to his siblings. He has dreams and passions that he put aside to make them happy but I want him to one day escape this once he feels remorse and follow his true dreams. He is not evil or emo just young and unsure of what he truly wants in life.
