IM ENTERING FOR THE FEMALE FROWNY FACE LEOPARD!! GIMME PIRATE BOOTY! Name: Rhommi Meaning: It's a mashup of two languages words for "rum." So . . ."rum," basically. Personality: Rhommi has an obsessive personality, which, depending on how you view her obsession, can make her either very easy or very difficult to get along with. Aside from that, she's extremely dedicated to friends, values the other pride members, and believes that it is part of her duty to make the world a pleasant place to be in.
It's just that her obsession is alcohol. Rhommi could be considered the pride's unofficial brewmaster - although officially a corsair. Rhommi is the pride's foremost authority on the making and aging of fermented fruit and it takes up most (or all) of her time. She has a seaside cave stockpiled with various fruits of different types and ages, and she plies the victorious returning pirates with her art, making careful notes and revising her techniques.
She's frowny because she has yet to perfect her fermenting technique. Nothing (including cubs, should she ever have any, feel really bad for them) will ever be more important then making the perfect fermented fruit.
Prompt Response: Rhommi is sympathetic to the male cheetah, and helps him whenever her precious fruit can spare her. It's not that she has any issue with kidnapping - her own leopardess mother and her were kidnapped by pirates, and she grew up fairly happy - it's more that she wants the pride to be a peaceful place, and she doesn't think it's anyone's place to cause someone else's unhappiness. She isn't a fighter, and she isn't a plotter, but she's loyal and eager to help and she knows which fermented melon to pick if you need a lion knocked out pretty quickly, which actually makes her fairly handy.

Yeah, I was trying to think of something pirate-y and nonviolent. So brewmaster is what I came up with. 8D

IM ENTERING FOR FEMALE LEOPARD!! GIMME PIRATE BOOTY! Name: Vumbi Kanzu Meaning:Dust Coat Personality: A total grumpbucket. Vumbi is a gruff and rude female, and she really doesn't care what others think of her. She has the attitude of a leopard twice her actual age, and with the perpetual frown that she wears no-one would ever believe that she is just barely into full adulthood. She isn't afraid to speak her opinion, and is particularly blunt in her assessment of situations and personalities.
Despite this she is also something of a snoop - she likes knowing things, particularly embarrassing things, and while she may never use that knowledge she gets her own private little thrill out of having it all the same. Tied into this is her desire to be involved in anything that sounds interesting, that may result in trouble - what's life without a little risk?
In short, Vumbi is a gambler, and what she gambles with is information. With a grumpy demeanor and an unassuming appearance, she is nevertheless intelligent, and while she takes risks often, they're calculated risks and she is careful to 'bet' only when she is reasonably confident of the outcome. She keeps this hobby under wraps for the most part, but her attitude is enough to have prevented her from forming many friendships, even among the other females.
Prompt Response: Since Vumbi is addicted to trouble and finding out information, it's really no surprise at all that the mess involving the new arrivals caught her interest. The dust-colored leopardess learned about both sides of the argument, and spent a long time debating over which side to choose - because she couldn't very well stay out of such an intriguing mess! In the end, however, she found the new arrival to be more interesting, and offered her aid to the lion. Not only would there be thrills involved should the two males clash over the female cheetah, but there would also be more blackmail material information to learn from a newcomer.
It's a win-win situation for her, or at least it appears to be.
Or maybe she's just slipping.

IM ENTERING FOR THIS LION GIRL!! GIMME PIRATE BOOTY! Name: Casilda Meaning: Possibly Spanish from German, "warlike, a fighter", or may have been Arabic in origin. Personality: Casilda - preferring to be called Cas, for short - is a bit of a wild fire, though often very quiet about it. She's not one to openly instigate a fight or suggest something dangerous yet adventurous, but she won't hesitate to jump in the action for the thrill of the experience. She's hard-headed and very much so headstrong when it comes to her own beliefs. Once she gets her mind set on something, there's no changing her mind off it. And she never does anything for another unless there's something in it for herself, even though something as simple as inviting her to a whole new adventure is enough for her. Prompt Response: RP Response Casilda paced silently along the gorge. Her tail flicked softly back and forth in her impatient wait. The lion said he needed her to watch the ship - what little bit of it there was at the moment - while he was away. She wanted to join him in the... "mission" as it were. She enjoyed the thrill of certain tasks. Especially when it concerned stealing something of some sort of value. But the lion insisted. He was her Captain, after all. Blast him... But, at least it was an easy task since the rest of the crew was all asleep for the moment. She growled faintly and paced some more. He should have been back by now. She silently cursed herself for not going with him, but orders were orders. 'Maybe he asked me to stay behind because I'm the only one best suited for the task?' she asked herself, her red eyes flashing over the crew in the dark of the night. 'Yes... That must be it.' She had already proved her worth on a few occasions. This helped her gain some respect within the ship at least, seeing as females generally held the roles of keepers and caretakers. She at least was given the rank of Crew to be able to do various tasks and pleasant encounters with random and unfortunate creatures. Well... Pleasant for her, unfortunate for the other. She turned her gaze back towards the direction in which the Lion had took off to. This had better been a good heist. Heavens forbid if he came back with something he couldn't share.... Much to her dismay, it was another female. But don't worry... she didn't turn against her Captain. She assumes he has a good reason for kidnapping such a pretty girl. >3 Also - Good luck to everyone else! <3
