Lions name: Lulu (pearl)
Personality Lulu definitely has a soft heart. She is a soft-spoken, gentle lioness that seems to like just about everyone. Even the most difficult personalities find themselves accepted by Lulu. Although she seems shy at first, Lulu warms up quickly to most lions and seems even more determined to get to know those who attempt to push her away. In her former pride, she was a healer, and though in this one there is no rank for that she does still have some knowledge and does what she can to make those who get sick comfortable. She is, however, a very pitiful huntress, and if she were on her own she would have a hard time feeding herself.
Prompt Response: Before this pride and even before the wandering group, Lulu was born into a small pride far from these lands. She had a big, loving family and was trained from a young age to be a healer, something she seemed to have a natural knack for. She loved other lions and seemed to enjoy her time with them, no matter who it was. But her happy life soon changed when the rains came. Her lands often got very little precipitation, but this year was different. It rained for days with no end in sight, and then one day, a flash flood tore through the den site, sweeping away all trace of the pride. When Lulu awoke the next day, she had been swept off by the current, and didn’t know where she was. She wandered for weeks, scrounging what food she could, but she never found her old home. The male and his traveling band of lionesses found her first, and she went with them, knowing that if she did not she may well starve out here.
Lulu was overjoyed to hear that they would be joining a new pride together. During the time she traveled with the lions she tried to get to know each one, and she was happy to hear that they would not be separated now. She and the golden lioness specifically had become very close, and once they have been accepted into the Ongozana’ke Lulu will be certain that their dens are close by so she can see her every day. The only worry Lulu has thus far is that she’s become very fond of the male leading them during their travels, and if he should ever lose his place in the pride and have to leave, she’d be quite upset. She’s not sure what she’d do should that ever happen, but she knows if it did there would probably be nothing she could do.
