Meaning: 'Lion' in Italian
Personality: Leonzio is quite a handful as a cub. While he too was trained in the art of assassination, he found he wasn't quite as fast or strong as Ezio or Federico. Of course, he wasn't sickly either like Petruccio, which put him in a strange position. Where he doesn't excel physically, this little cub is quite sharp mentally and has a deep fascination with art and tinkering.
On the one paw, Leonzio has a bit of an eclectic taste. While he can hold his own in a fight or spar, he much prefers to keep his paws from getting too rough and tumble. Instead, he finds his joy in tinkering with objects around him - what properties does this plant have? What happens if he ties this wood with these feathers? He very much might someday create wings to fly, or maybe just make a new fashion statement! Leonzio doesn't care, so long as he gets to create. (As he grows, he might want to find more purpose with his 'creations'. . . but as a cub, he just wants to make things that work, even if they're ridiculous.)
Smart, and seemingly optimistic, Leonzio has a great respect for his brothers, and is very close to his family. He can come off a bit eccentric from time to time, and can also be easily excited be the geekier things in life. While he might not be strong and likely wouldn't be much use as an assassin, he always is coming up with a new idea (no matter how outlandish) in hopes he might be of some use.
Plots/notes:
1. Hairbrained: I think it would be fun if Leonzio started tinkering with various contraptions. Maybe he'd get to borrow some feathers from Petruccio and tries to make a pair of wings. . which ultimately fail and end up with some bruises; or perhaps he comes up with digging a great hole, only to realize he dug it so deep he can't get out. Just a series of unfortunate tinkerers failures so he might strive to do better (and need a helping paw or two from his brothers or parents!).
2. Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better: While I don't see Leonzio as a particularly jealous sort, I could see him being a bit competitive. Before coming in to his own and accepting that he will never be as strong or quick or physically fast as some of his brothers, I could see him often trying to compete and show them up. . . but it never really working well. Eventually he'd learn to accept that physically, most of his brothers win, but . . .when it comes to puzzles or tinkering with objects, he often has the upper paw.
3. Oh, I Got Dis. . . Because he isn't as strong as Ezio or Federico, I could see him getting along splendidly with Claudia and Petruccio. He could make trinkets or design Claudia (and his mother) some new forms of lioness fashion, use them as living art, and could easily entertain Petruccio with stories and conversation of his hopes and future dreams if he's ill. Of course, they may not realize he's likely bouncing ideas off them OR using them as experiments but . . . . he means well.
That's all cub stuff though. I could come up with more plots as he ages, but it would depend on RP and how he'd get along with his siblings and parents. I'd hope he'd find a particularly close bond with one of his brothers, one he could help be the 'brains' for, and one whom could trust him and confide in him. Any brother would do. . . heck, even Claudia too! I'm not picky, and neither is Leonzio.
Like I said, he knows how to hold his own in a fight, and I'm sure would stir up trouble unknowingly for his 'hair brained' projects. I'd be willing to work out other ideas and plots too, but for now. . . just think it would be fun.
**So I may or may not have based him loosely on Leonardo in AC: II & Brotherhood. I know he's not a relation, but . . . Was certainly a good friend to Ezio and was loyal to their cause . . .even when he was forced to help the other side.
