Vin Yokoi

Vin just curled his lip slightly at the words. He was already trying for all of those things, but he could obtain all of them, he was taking to sacrificing his health for everything else. It was really the only option he had. His thoughts made him miss the last little bit. Frowning, he tilted his head. “What was that about the restaurant?” he asked slowly, blinking at him. He wasn’t sure he’d really heard him say restaurant, but it sure had sounded like it. But then again, Vin was so stressed, he knew he would probably mistake a lot of things for restaurant or vet now. He wondered how long it would be before he got sick again. It was happening more and more often now because he was having to work and study more and more.

((Sorry for the length. Major writers block on my end.))

Asami looked at the boy when he caught his last words, he blinked quickly and almost looked startled. He stood up slowly and looked down at the boy, stretching out a bit while standing. The boy had good hearing, he didn't think he'd be caught. He was a little flabberghasted, so he didn't really know what to say. Instead, he settling on being silent for a few moments, trying to re-collect his thoughts. He picked up his coffee mug and downed it, setting it down on the table, then grabbing his thermos that he filled with coffee. He went around the small table and walked to Vin's side and cleared his throat, what should he say now? Would it be weird if he were to actually tell Vin to stop working at the restaurant? Probably, it was really none of his business. He had alot to think about tonight, perhaps he was getting too involved in Vin's life, he probably should stop now while he was ahead. He wanted to help this boy, not seem like a weirdo. Creeping Vin out was the last thing on his mind, sure Vin was a cute boy, but he wasn't his type. Spacey, young, disorganized at times, and a student. Something that was against the rules, a big no-no.

He reached his hand out for Vin to grab on, he knew it was hard to stand up from a low couch when one was tired. He smiled down at the boy, actually smiled. His face got soft and he looked like a prince, helping someone he cared a lot about up from the couch. Whenever he showed emotions, they were easily misunderstood. He didn't know what he looked like to Vin, but he hoped the boy would take offense of misread them. But with the smile on Asami's face, he just looked very gentle, a side that was never seen in public. "Nothing, let's head back to class." His dark eyes looked kind, patient, and understanding. Something that he'd always wanted from people growing up, but never received.

Vin watched Asami for a moment, tilting his head. He supposed he’d just misheard him sense he said nothing in response. Shifting as Asami came closer, he bit his lip. He made himself look like an idiot then….he was just some crazy kid hearing things. It wasn’t until a hand was held out to him that he focused again. Looking up to Vin’s face, he was a little shocked by the kindness he found there. It was a lot like what he’d imagined Asami looking like if he could ever find a spot to squeeze into his life with. Blushing slightly, Vin accepted the hand and let him pull him up. Beginning to straighten his clothes, he nodded slightly. “Alright then.” He murmured. It was a little sad to leave here though….he liked spending one on one time with Asami.

Following him back out, he kept his hands in his pockets and didn’t look around too much, lost in thought. Even when they reached the classroom again, he kept quiet, ignoring the whispered questions and notes. What was he supposed to tell everyone? That’s he’d been sitting and talking with the teacher in the teacher’s lounge? No, he’d let them think what they liked. He had plenty to think over now anyway, and even if the coffee did make him feel a little better, he was still too tired to care much about the other students. He just hoped he had an easy night at work, he doubted he’d be able to handle too much.

Asami walked back to the calssroom, a lot going through his mind. He had to keep quite, in order to avoid bringing up more questions and perhaps uncomfortable situations between them. He opened the door for vin and closed it, silencing his classroom when they got too roudy. He walked back behind his desk and started to talk about how the Americans had a very complex vocabulary, using old latin words and making vowels that perhaps they wouldn't understand at first, but with time, they would all learn the basics of English. His lecture continued on throughout the rest of the class hour, he handed out some papers that would explain some way of American language, the proper way to say things, and why words are sometimes used in slang conversations. he'd always found the English-speaking American's to be interesting. the way they could utilize their vocabulary and make an entirely different language, such as slang. He turned back to his class, presuming his authoritative and dominating demeanor. "Read up on these packets tonight, there may or may not be a pop quiz tomorrow.. So it's best to be prepared, than fail and be sorry when your grade slips a few decimals.." He stated sourly, the way he always did when he had the authority in his classroom, he was a professional right now.

The school bell rang to call off all knowledge and allow the students to migrate out and continue with their daily lives, he bowed in respect as the students went up to him and started talking about the pop quiz, then notifying him of other free time they had for tutoring. When they all left and it got silent, he looked over and spotted Vin. He remained quite, what would he say to the boy? Vrrr.. vrrrrrrrrr.. He blinked and reached into his dress pants pocket and saw that it was a call from Ryone. He rolled his eyes and pulled out his phone completely, pressing the call button and standing on the opposite side of the room, making sure he was out of Vin's earshot. "What Ryone?" He stated distastfully..I want to see you tonight.. He inwardly groaned in agitation.."I have things to do Ryone.. I want you to call Vin and tell him that he has the night off, the boy needs some sleep" His voice sounded demanding, but silently dangerous.. What is it with you and Vin? You seem to be mentioning that boy and awful lot lately, what is with you? He barred his teeth a bit, but relaxed.. "I mean it Ryone, you either do it, or I will call everything off" The man on the other line got silent, then a sigh was heard..Fine.. But- He was cut off abruptly by Asami hanging up on him, he sighed softly to himself, his hand tangling through his hair as he approached his desk and started cleaning things off and packing things away, getting ready to leave. He remained though, taking his work slowly to see if Ryone would actually do as he'd told him to.

Vin Yokoi

Vin paid as much attention as he could, ending up with two full pages of notes. Staring at the packet that had been passed out, he sighed, flipping through it. Another late night and full morning of studying it seemed. Even as the bell rang and people began to leave, he stayed seated, reading the first page or so, comparing it to the notes he had. He knew he should leave, but it was easier to read and study here than in his car or the backroom of the restaurant. He didn’t even look up as Asami began to pack up and ended up taking a phone call. When he finally glanced up at the clock, he sighed, time to go. Beginning to pack up his stuff and switch jackets, he jumped when his phone rang. Pulling out a cheap old cellphone, one that looked like it was on the way to dying, he glanced at the caller id before flipping it open.

“I’m just leaving the school sir, I’ll be there on time today, I promise.” He said quickly, holding the phone with his shoulder as he messed with his papers. Pausing when the man told him to take the night off, Vin stiffened and frowned. “I’m not going to be late.” He repeated again, sure that the manager was giving his shift away out of spite. When the manager told him to stay home again, Vin shook his head. “But my hours-“ and he was cut off by a threat before Ryone hung up the phone. Standing there staring at his phone, Vin was clearly at a loss. He’d never been told to stay home, Ryone was practically a slave driver, and Vin never complained, needing the hours. Finally clearing his throat, he slowly pocketed his phone again, taking off his jacket and staring at it a moment before putting it back in his bag. He didn’t like this. Ryone couldn’t be thinking of replacing him could he? Was he trying out someone else for his job tonight? All of the thoughts running through his mind made him paranoid. Slowly picking up his bag, he glanced at Asami, but didn’t say anything as he headed for the door, head spinning. There had to be a reason for all of this, but what?

Asami didn't looked up when he heard the phone ringing, but he did manage to stuff a lot of papers in one drawer, file some things that he'd forgotten to a while ago, then loosened his tie a bit around his neck. He was honestly tired today and just wanted some coffee.. Alcohol.. Something other than just the usual. He pulled out a pen and some paper, marking down some things he needed to buy for his house. He actually had an idea right now, the boy did mention earlier that he'd do anything to thank Asami for his help. Perhaps the boy could be of some use to him outside of school, make money, and learn in the process. He chuckled softly in his mind, then stood up straight. When he did, his shirt relaxed around his neck and showed that he did not have just one hickey, but serveral, all along his neck and chest. He obviously didn't notice, but if he did know about it, he didn't seem to care at all. He looked up, seeing Vin's reaction to Ryone's call, he'd actually almost forgot that Ryone called Vin. But the look on Vin's face almost made Asami frown, he cleared his throat and looked after Vin as he walked toward the door..

"Mister Yokoi, are you free tonight?" He tilted his head to the boy, his dark eyes narrowing a bit. Not out of anger or anything, just how he was that closer he was getting to go out to the night club. He tossed his coat over his shoulder and walked toward Vin, his eyes not looking professional, they looked playful and daring. After hours, he wasn't Mr. Tenichi, no, he was Asami. A visible change was all over Asami's face, he handed a peice of paper to Vin. It contained a front and back list of everything he needed in his house; From Shampoo to food, to the everyday kitchen cleaner. Then he handed the boy an envelope that had a rather large amount of money, enough to buy everything on his list and still have a huge left over amount, but that was for Vin to keep for anything he needed. But on the bottom of the envelope, there was a small key, a copy of the originial.. "You said anything, plus, this is my condition for teaching you outside of school.. A win-win situation.." He winked to the boy and walked past him, taking longer strides than he usually did. He looked like he was in a hurry. He pulled out another set of keys, pressing a button, unarming a nice sports Spider, getting in, and pealing off like a mad man.

{Ok, so basically. Asami is going to have Vin buy a bunch of things he needs for his house, then drop them all off at his house, which the key in the envelope is to his nice mansion. So Vin has a copy of the key to his house, plus some money. So Asami is paying Vin to buy stuff for him and put them all away. The money left over from the job is more money than Vin gets every two weeks in the paycheck Ryone gives.}

Vin Yokoi

Vin turned back when he heard his name. Tilting his head, he bit his lip and nodded slowly. “Yeah…my boss just told me to take the night off….” He said slowly. Watching him approach, Vin was nervous at first until he saw the multitude of hickeys the man bore. Stilling, he bit his cheek to keep himself from making a face. It was one thing to hear rumors about the teacher’s late night habits, it was another to see the proof. Vin wondered who it had been, and why. What he would have to do to get in that person’s position. He wanted Asami’s attention and love, but Asami seemed to be seeing him as more and more of a student. Meeting his eyes, Vin smirked at the bravado in them. He was distracted by the items that were handed to him though, and he frowned. Looking over the list, he bit his lip. It was a lot. And the wad of money in the envelope nearly floored him. He’d never seen so much money in his life. At least not in person. Looking up to the man, there was a small shift in his attitude when Vin heard that it was his condition. Nothing was ever free. Nodding, he put the envelope and list in his bag. “I promise it’ll get done.” He murmured.

Following Asami out of the school, he paused on the steps to watch him speed away, drooling over his car a bit. Shaking his head, he went to his own vehicle and left. He stopped by his apartment first, dropping off his school things and changing, not wanting to walk around in his uniform. He ended up in some low slung jeans, a black tank top that hugged him nicely, and a soft leather jacket. Overall, he actually looked rather sexy when he was out of his school and work clothes, part of the reason other students chased after him.

Heading back out, he went right to the store and set about buying everything. It took a long time, making sure everything was the brand requested, or the highest quality otherwise. He felt odd, buying so much, and so many nice things, but he remembered that this was Asami he was working for. The man was probably used to even better. Being the natural penny pincher though, Vin managed to save a lot of money on the groceries as well. When he finally made it to Asami’s house, he was amazed. How could someone that worked as a teacher live here? Someone with this much money should be sitting on it all, investing in things and never having to lift a finger. This was just another reminder as to how far out of his league he was. Letting himself in, Vin tried not to go anywhere he wasn’t supposed to, but got lost a few times as he put things away. When that chore was done, he sat down, considering the money left in the envelope. He figured that it was for him, but he wasn’t sure. It was really too much, but then again Asami was trying to be generous with him. Looking around as he worried his lip, Vin finally set it aside. He’d just have to do more then. With that, he set about working some more. He cleaned, polished, and dusted, he arranged, washed, ironed, and folded. He was sure Asami had someone clean for him every now and then, but they weren’t doing their best. Hours later, Vin was exhausted, but the mansion, or at least the parts he felt comfortable entering were spotless. Hoping Asami wouldn’t find it creepy and get angry at him, he finally took the money and left. He’d thought about going out earlier, but he was too tired now. So he ended up going straight home. Studying in bed, he ended up falling asleep over the packet, exhausted, but still managing to get to bed earlier than he had recently.
