when he was younger (my dad), he had really long hair. one of his friend's mom's friend was going through chemotherapy, so she was wearing wigs. she really liked his hair, so the next day, he went to his friend's mom and donated his hair. he and that woman crossed paths years later, and she still had the wig made of his hair.
that's just his estimate, though, i don't know. maybe if it had all the accessories, it'd be that much, but i'm not sure

Hello! Ah...since the wig is very long, I think the price will run over 30$. However, I doubt that the basic wig itself will be over 800$...I think it might run to 80$ or 100$. I recommend Taobao to purchase your wig. However, you might have to edit the wig yourself (or have your cousin do it), which will cost you some more money for extensions and wefts. Perhaps you could look into altering wigs to get a sense of what should be done to your wig?

You could also commission someone to make that wig for you.

yeah, and when i do get the wig, i'm having it stop a few inches above the floor, to keep it from getting stepped on.
and who would i commission? i know nobody around here that would do this, which is why i'm thinking of having my cousin helping

You can find someone online to do a commission. There are tons of people at cosplay.com that would be willing to do it for you. If you go with someone make sure you check them out 100% first, you want them to be legit. Also my sister took a simple $30+ wig (woman cut) and styled it for a FFVII Cloud cosplay. She had never messed with wigs before, but with simple hair glue it looked fantastic. My sister isn't the best with hair (I have the pictures of my head to prove it >.>) but I think it was her artistic side that helped her out. If you have a good sense of creativity, you might be able to shape one yourself. You could always find a cheaper one to try first. Good luck. ^.^
