Why do you think your soq would be best for this rank? While he lacks the grand antlers that other males of his species possess, he is well-versed in fighting/defense methods that do not require antlers. He is a patient, quiet, and calm soul so being an instructor would come easily to him as well as give him a position in a herd in which he can call home.

Will you, at all costs, defend the herd to the best of your ability and not insult anybody's antlers? Yes! But be aware, she is partially blind and losing her sight so...not sure how good she'll be at defending! (I've not decided if she'll got fully blind yet or if she'll find some cure or some way to lessen it)

Personality: Initially, Tethys was a shy mare. She was the epitome of propriety and understood her "place" in the world. However, when she began to lose her eyesight, she changed. There was too much living left to do. Since then she has become more outgoing, but still clinging to the raiment of her shyness at times.
Biography: Born to a struggling family, she was given up in hopes of a better life. As a teenager, she found work as a nanny/tutor to Uroko. Over the years, she told him stories that she remembered her mother having once told her and teaching him the lessons of life.

Very similiar in age, they grew together as friends more than mentor and student. As Tethys first began to realize that she as having problems with her vision, she was able to see that not only was she falling for Uroko but he was falling for her.

She knew that it would get him exiled and her in trouble so she did not act on her feelings. As her vision got worse and her longing for him, she decided to leave and explore the world before she lost all of her vision.

Leaving without a word, she disappeared into the night.

Plots:
She will have a few before joining the herds. Most of these involve her stumbling about to see things and then getting into trouble. These are her adventures she's going for to be able to see as much of the world as she can before she loses her sight. Some of them involve escape while others involve making friendships.

However at some point in the future, I would like her to be kidnapped from the herd (if possible) while pregnant. The kidnapper would offer her a deal, that she would be able to restore her vision for a time so that she could see the faces of her children. In Maternal overdrive, Tethys will succumb to the agreement before the herd can rescue her and will pay some terrible price. It's an idea, still have to be run by all parties...but yeah. XD

Also, she would likely offer to start working in the nursery or storytelling, as she does both.

Personality: calm, collected, easygoing, quiet, observant, mischievous (but not in an evil/aggressive way), etc. (will type up something later (: his current personality in my teepee makes him sound more evil than he actually is as it needs to be remodeled.)
Biography: came from a distant land, was exiled and 'cursed' (it's more of a believed curse than an actual physical one so it can technically be broken if he stops believing in it), then roamed Kawani until he ended up in the Herd.
Plots: Find a place to call home, have someone get him to open up about his past so he can break his 'curse' and move on with his life, etc. This will all be more fleshed out during winter break. -___-"

Personality: Kenton is very proud of his pre-Cerynei blood. His years of training have made him strong, yet humble. He is a gentleman and would never think it right to harm another unless it was absolutely necessary. He is best described as a gentle giant. He finds that females make the best company and loves to talk to them. He is quick to forgive and never lingers long on the bad things in life. The Herd is everything to him, second only to his family. He would do anything for them and has devoted his life to his work.
Biography:Kenton is originally from the Cerynei forests. There he served as his herds scout. While out on patrol the fires swept through the forest and whipped out his herd. He waited for them, but they never showed. The fires forced him to leave to the Soquili lands. There he met a beautiful mare and they had children, but it was soon apparent that neither of them was ready to settle down. So the went their separate ways. Kenton, after much travel and exploring of the new lands, found Calixte. She was kind to him, and they spent much time together. They later decided to start a herd together that would follow the customs of a traditional Cerynei herd. Kenton was made the protector, a job that he loves. Certain things lead to Calixte having children, which Kenton raised as his own, thus the start of their family. In the foals childhood, two purewalkers threatened the families peace. A crisis was avoided, but not resolved. Now Kenton and Cali have three beautiful baskets together which will be raised in the herd with much love and care.
Plots: I am always available for RP. if you need anything, meet and greets, personality exploration, exciting patrol adventures, Kenton is available. so feel free to shoot me a pm and we can RP out hearts out.

Personality: he is quite flamboyant, but not in the modern sense of the term. its more of the literal meaning, as in he is lively and talkative and bright and charismatic and cute and vibrant, but i could not fit all of that on his tag, so flamboyant it is. if your ever feeling down, just swing by and give premaz a visit, he will make you right as rain. you need a close friend to share all your secrets with, he wont tell a soul. he is the ideal girlfriend...well you get the picture. but just to get things straight, he is not gay. he is out there, and his rainbow bends a little more than others, but he finds no attraction to males.
Biography: Premaz is from the cerynei forests. his herd practiced selective breeding for beauty. no one in his herd lifemated. they had mates, but if your mate looked good with another stag, then she was allowed to breed in order to produce beautiful foals. if a couple looked bad or would produce bad foals then they were not allowed to breed. Premaz's parents were a random pairing that bred just to make pretty foals. he was raised by the herd nannies with other foals like him. everyone gladly waits for the day that they can pass on their own looks to the next generation. the big fire came on the day that Premaz was to take a mate, so he never really participated in his herds odd traditions. he went to the Soquili lands and was found by Kenton. Premaz was slightly dissapointed to find that the Vanaras herd was not like his old herd, but it is a place to stay with loving people so he decided that he would live here.
Plots: currently Premaz is just enjoying herd life. he is having a hard time with the whole finding a mate idea for it goes agains everything he has ever been taught. he will most likely never take a mate, but he will breed for the purpose of adding foals to the herd. so if your mare does not mind the fact that he is practically the worlds worst dad, then send them his way. also im always open for RP so just pm me any of your plots or ideas and Premaz will be available.

Why do you think your soq would be best for this rank? Its mainly because he seeks a bigger thing he can be apart of beyond his nomads ways which gave left him long gone from his family.
Lifemated? If yes, to who, and would they be interested in honorary membership? Not yet, I want it to happen in the future but its not time yet
Will you, at all costs, defend the herd to the best of your ability and not insult anybody's antlers? Of course he is a very loyal stallion who could never imagine leaving so many to pain and hurt. And while he wasn't the fondest of his alters growing up he is too kind to insult another specially ones bankers.

Hey guys, just dropped by to say a few things. <3

First of all, thanks for getting your profiles and stuff up so fast. If anybody has a craving for herd RP, feel free to look for it here - this thread is for everything from finding RP and plots for your soq to filling out the proper forms like we've been doing. So if you'd like RP, you can certainly ask here.

Secondly, if you guys have anything you'd like to discuss, you can also do that here... This would be like herd ceremonies, beliefs, etc. Right now the herd beliefs seems a liiiiittle two-dimensional; they only really cover a small train of thought and we haven't expanded much beyond what the Cerynei section says in the RP Guide. So if you guys have some things you'd like to add in there, be it specific beliefs to discuss, views on natural disasters, that kind of thing, please don't hesitate to talk about it! Two heads (or twenty <3 ) are better than one, especially when it comes to making this herd as detailed and awesome as possible. :3

Mostly I just wanted to say that we've got a new totem... And ohmahgoodness, look how darn pretty it is. *_*

I want to see what Larena best fits in before trying to rank her. Im not sure about what she should be so she can start at the bottom then see where she fits best.

The true heart of a knight, Zheadeos grew up knowing he wanted to help others. He hold all he feels a connection to with close regards and will protect them with his own life. He is a very passionate stallion he felt like his father at such a young age was the same and growing up that's all he ever wanted to be, just like his father. Genetics stopped him from looking exactly like his father in body so he dedicated his life to being just like him and he was very protective his family

All Life is precious and should be treated with the utmost respect and that is a careful philosophy he has always lived by. (Will Update more later)

He doesn't talk much but that is because he is shy in most cases unless something deeper propels him to talk without hesitance. (Will Update more later)

Something just draws Zhea to those in need of comfort, care, or a gentle shoulder to lean on. He can't explain how it happens but it has happened since he was a foal he had some sort of connection with those that have been hurt . He has always been glad to have such a gift where others might dislike the fact that they would just call them off into the unknown to seek out someone many miles away that was in need but he loves helping others so it isn't a bother.

Biography: Zheadeos was raised in a very close and loving family. Though as soon as he was grown he left to explore the world feeling that he had a deeper calling pulling him away. On his journey he met a mare named Hafwyn and he spent an evening with her though he cannot recall any of it because it's all a haze in his mind. He awoke in the morning to find her gone and feeling a deep sense of unease about the night prior. (ICCLY that mated and he will have foals he doesn't know about OCCLY we have been trying and they are at a LL Count) Since that time he continued his journey searching far a wide for anyone one who needed his comforting shoulder or a good ear to listen to.
Plots: I'm always down for an rp so long as life will slow down enough for me to make it happen. So far I'm open on the weekends and randomly during the week depending on my classes demands. Ping me a PM at anytime though because Rping is part of why I was really encouraged to try him out for the herd <3 Plot Thread

Larena is a very headstrong mare when she sets her mind there is no changing it. She is always eager to teach others and learn something new as well. She hates being looked down upon for being a small and rather dainty mare. She can handle things on her own and does not need anyone there to baby her. Larena is also very loving of natures and everything living. She has the belief that the forest is a very mystical place and should be treated as such.

She is an adventurer at heart but would also not mind someone to travel with. She can handle things on her own so she thinks when she does need someone to keep her in check. Someone to spar with and just to be with in general

Biography:

Larena believes she came from someplace outside of the lands. Always having a feeling she did not belong being mane less. She believes her mother is a doe and that is why she cares so deeply about nature. Not much has happened to her though and she just roams from one place to another. She takes each day as if it were to be her last and never regrets her actions. She is a very loyal mare who wont leave those who she cares about or trusts. Even if she can be very stubborn at times deep down she has a very kind soul. Larena believes that love is forever and she tells that to those she meets. A fling is a sad way to fall in love that means there really was never any love.

She will always respect those who have something to teach. She is a mare eager to help out and also learn. She is a very good protector and does not want to be treated as fragile.


Plots: Open for pretty much anything if you have an idea feel free to ask. Larena still need lots of personality development so meet and greets work or something more. I wold like her to meet someone else with a similar personality though that she could be friends with.
