Future Plot ideas: I don't really do this until there's been some rp, but I'd love for her to run into some rogues while either out doing her duty, or some that come into the pride. Just to widen her scope of the world a little more.
Daddy, or Mama's girl? both!
Personality: My idea for her so far is that she'll be a lot like her mama. As a youngster, she'll be pretty fiery and headstrong. She has good intentions, but she likes to be the one calling the shots and shouting the orders. She's a little on the serious side too, not always taking jokes to heart, or approving of them, often considered too mature for her age. Poltta will strive to be strong and a lioness her family can be proud of, as well as serve her pride to help it grow. In many instances she can be quite stubborn, and stuck in her ways, often times unbudging even when she's clearly in the wrong. She's passionate, and prideful, humility not being something she will be able to handle well at first. As she grows I hope for that to tone down. She'll learn to be more accepting of others opinions and points of view, as well as to cool her jets before lashing out with unrestrained frustration.
This will also be quelled with the help of her father in teaching her other area's of strength. She won't be very good at using her femininity, but will strive to learn how to use ones tongue to also bend situations into her favor. Overall, her teeth and claws will still be her most used weapon, and her silvertongue will be rather under par. With meeting more calm natures, and various personality's, I'm hoping that it will help her. Family will be the most important thing to her, to which she will protect any of them with her life, along with the rest of the pride. She values trust, honor, and loyalty very strongly, and is not one to forgive or forget. Ergo, once you betray her, or get on her bad side, there's hardly any means of gaining amends. Romance will be another area she won't be the best at... though she will desire to have a mate, affection is sometimes difficult for her to express effectively, as she isn't used to revealing her softer side, her firey 'tude often on the frontlines. It won't be impossible, but it will take quite a lot of patience and persistence.

Okay guys! So this has been extended but not only that but we decided to add a note or two. You can Edit your entries if you feel it might not go along with this. If you edit them please feel free to repost them too!
- Nur is not alive. Nur passed away before the cubs were even born, Azar and Khin are open about this though and so are their siblings. Two of the cub's siblings are named after Nur.
- Although there is a fire-y nature to Azar, especially when she is younger (So that does make sense) but they are going to be raised to know that family was highly important. They will also be pretty firm with their children. So don't completely get rid of the firekin personality but also don't make them "OMG FIREKIN" I don't know if that makes sense but yeah.
But yeah if there is something you want to work on or change you totally can. : D

Favorite Color: Oddly, her favourite colour is purple since she has only seen it once, when she stumbled over a strange desert flower blooming in the sands. Ever since then, she has been fascinated with the strange colour and now looks for it everywhere, though the only time she sees anything like it currently is during rare sunsets.
Future Plot ideas: She wants to become a Sentinel in order to see more of the world, yet she is totally devoted to her pride and would never consider actually leaving. With dreams of great adventures, as an adolescent these drams of heroes and villains turns into a desire to experience life, to aid those in need, to teach of the firekin ways to those who wish to learn, and spread her love of her pride to others. Her desire to go beyond the boarder of the firekin land comes in part from listening to her father's stories of his rogue days; and she wants, in her own way, to emulate his travails and to learn skills that she can bring back to her pride and family. But more seriously when the time comes for her to make the decision about her future career.. the driving factor in her choice is the fact that she looses one of her sisters to the hurai way of life. Wishing to make sure her frail, delicate sister is going to be alright she takes the sentinel posting in order to be close to her sister. The last thing she could bare is her sister following in the pawsteps of the brother she never met, Nur.
Daddy, or Mama's girl? A little bit of both actually. She is independent and can be stubborn when she sets her mind to something, yet she also takes her father's lessons to heart and does actually have a very sharp mind, which she is more than happy to use alongside her naturally firekin assets.
Personality: A strong minded girl with little fear and a whole lot of heart. As a cub she has way too much energy, despite the heat and the worry over the Nergui, possessing the habit of going on 'adventures' around the pride, vanquishing any real or imagined 'villains' and 'saving' their victims, often involving adults and inanimate objects found around the pride. (Like a rock being sat on by a lion). As she grows older her love of adventure remains, though she does knuckle down and get serious with her studies, knowing that in order to fulfill her dreams she needs to work for them. She is also very aware of the threat from the north and from a young age will want to train hard in order to be ready when it finally descends on her family. However when she realizes that her sister will be in particular danger after being sent off as hurai, she focuses on her goal of protecting her frail sibling.

Future Plot ideas:
- Conflict: I’d want to find someone who just knows how to push her buttons. Tarsa’s more of a keep-it-to-herself kind of girl, and she keeps everything under wraps because when things get serious, she doesn’t want the world to know what she’s got or just how capable she is. But I want somebody who will just keep provoking her until it finally pushes her over the edge and she gets into a huge fight. This will probably be the first time she realizes how much fire she has lurking under the surface.
- A little “buddy” who takes it upon him/herself to follow Tarsa around. She probably wouldn’t realize how much she cares until she doesn’t have it anymore, so it’d be fun to do something where she either permanently or temporarily loses said little buddy

Personality: She’s a Firekin at heart, though she doesn’t make it evident at first glance. Usually reserved in large crowds, Tarsa saves her words for when they really matter, rewarding patience with the occasional curt but poignant comment. She is in the business of rationality, often puzzling through entire trains of thought before ever bothering to verbalize any of them, and is often several steps ahead of the group’s discussion by the time she deigns the situation worthy of her contribution.
Everything Tarsa does, she does for herself. From proving a point to proving her fitness, she competes with herself and nobody else, finding motivation in personal records and self-recognition of her own abilities. She finds external competition more pointless than useful and operates under the assumption that nobody else could fight for victory against her better than herself and that nobody would have the competence to keep up with her. She compensates for these assumptions by doing the little things with her own two hands, being more thorough than most and taking the reins where others might have let them fall slack, working constantly to meet the standards she has set for herself.
Her actions reflect an inherent distance from other creatures that has affected her since birth. More of a loner type than anything else, she can both survive in the company of others and live without it, rarely feeling lost or unwanted if excluded from a group. She loves, and she does so ardently, but can have difficulty expressing it in words. It takes someone who knows her exceptionally well to recognize her subtle displays of affection, which often manifest themselves in her actions, but she will not hesitate to defend someone dear to her. And though her nature is usually blunt, strict and no-nonsense, there are a precious few who can worm their way into her heart and elicit a warm smile or even an occasional giggle.
Beneath all this smolders a quiet fury that one might notice upon careful observation. The way Tarsa carries herself and flinches almost unnoticeably whenever someone touches her without invitation, the way she seems to judge the world, the way her fiery eyes burn when she is incited all point to the Firekin rage that drives her to be all she can be in service of her pride. She is slow to anger but quick with her claws and merciless in the way she fights, attacks, kills, and when she has a target in sight, she does not let up.

Personality: Mat is a very leap before you look kind of girl. She's always getting into little fights and causing a ruckus with her siblings. She's loud, not afraid to state her mind, and very competitive. She wants to be the best at everything, even if she's actually horrible at it. Mat is headstrong and lets her emotions rule her actions rather than thinking everything through rationally. If something confuses her, she'd rather try to eat it than learn about it. As she grows she'll learn that there are better ways to handle certain situations than fighting, but she's much better with actions than words. As long as whoever she is with is patient with her, she can work things out verbally rather than physically.

Response Mat flicked her tail back and forth as she watched and waited for the paws of her father to walk by her hiding place. There was a small shrub that she had managed to squeeze under and, thanks to the lighting of near-sunset, she blended in perfectly. There was no way he'd see her and she could attack his feet before he could do anything. Ha! Take that, dad!
As she waited, she dug her claws into the sand in excitement. Ooh, this was going to be fun. They had just had a pouncing lesson from dad a few days ago, and she wanted to show him how good she had gotten! Better than the rest of her sisters and definitely her brother...ha, she was the best one ever. She'd make him so proud!
It seemed to take forever for her father to make an appearance, though, and she wondered if any of her other family members might walk by. She had a few older siblings that could do just fine as stand-ins for her dad. Now that she thought about it, she had a really huge family! Ah, she could pounce every single one of them during the day to get lots of practice. Heh...that wasn't a bad idea. A perk to being one of many. That also meant she had a lot of competition when she got older, but the thought of beating all her older, stronger siblings in fights made her heart beat faster with excitement. A huge family was great for situations like this.

Personality: Limi is a sly little girl who is quick to learn that you can easily get your way with smart words and quick thoughts without all the aches and pains that come with fighting. She'll train and learn the Firekin ropes, of course, but along with her physical might is a fantastic mind that can weave pretty word to trick anyone into doing as she wishes. Her craftiness will grow as she ages, her mind becoming sharper as her body becomes stronger. She'll be a formidable foe on the battlefield: strong, but also cunning. Limi likes to bend the rules and play devil's advocate in situations, just to get a rise out of other lions. She enjoys causing a bit of turmoil within her pride, shaking things up to keep it interesting, but at the end of her day would put her life on the line for any Firekin. As sharp as her mind is, her major downfall is pride. She thinks so highly of herself that those who play to her ego will eventually get the best of her.

I chose this song because I feel that it reflects Rika's frustration accurately, while illustrating her mysterious and enchanting, yet fiery nature.
Favorite Color: Gold (the orbs through which she views the world)
Future Plot ideas: Rika is injured badly in battle, resulting in a crippled leg with a terrible limp, which makes her feel inferior to others; thus, she feels she must prove herself to the pride more than anyone, with both the strength and intellect her parents instilled in her. Although originally a soldier, she will (if I am given the opportunity) become a medic (or assistant/friend of a medic, if I am unable to obtain the official title for her). In this way she will feel she is giving back to the pride, though in all truth, she will ultimately loathe the position and long for the freedom to carve her long claws down a trespasser's back.
Daddy, or Mama's girl? Rika'Kaa reveres both parents with ferocious intensity. They are her models; her mother, strength - her father, wisdom. She longs to climb to power the way they have; particularly, in the way Azar pushed and clawed her way into leadership. However, fate will not grant Rika'Kaa the paws to follow in her parents' large footsteps.
Personality:
Rika'Kaa is not your traditional Firekin girl, by any means. She is cunning and witty, having learned from the great Khin'del the art of subtle manipulation. As a youngster she is seemingly not afraid of anything, boasting of arduous journeys to the Old Palace and the creatures she supposedly encountered there. She longs most to impress her parents among the sea of children they have borne. However, as she ages, she becomes more independent, indefatigably loving her family but at the same time keeping her distance, for, as she believes, with powerful ties come life-long dependents.
Rika, injured in battle, has a heavy limp. Rather than viewing her limp as a war-wound to be proud of, Rika'Kaa believes her limp is symbolic of weakness, which will not be tolerated. Because of this, she always feels the need to go above and beyond expectations to prove her worth to the pride, which is the only aspect of her life which surpasses family - and, of course, her own selfish pleasures.
By which I mean men. Having been taught by her father to mold a boy into whatever shape she pleases, she takes advantage of the ignorance of the male species and their darned hormones. She believes she can get anything she wants with the seductive flick of her tail and the flutter of her golden eyes. Although it is unlikely she will ever "fall" for someone, she will take den-mates and bear many cubs in the name of the Firekin.
But despite her devotion to the pride, Rika sways in one matter: superstition. Since the day she fluttered her golden orbs to at last greet the earth, she was taught that superstition was a forbidden fruit. Legends of Finar-Si, however, haunted her childhood and instilled in her a respect for the Gods, although she would never admit it to anyone, even to her parents. After all, there was something out there that dealt her fate that bleak night her leg was crippled. There is something out there which breeds treachery...

Future Plot ideas: - As a cub, she'll make repeated attempts to appease her father's idea of femininity and have varying, low levels of success.
- Shula will spend a lot of time questioning her mother about her promotion and seeking advice for a future rank, whether or not Azar feels she is free to choose herself.
- In the meta, Shula will try to understand the issues at hand and the best way to defend the pride in the future. She may end up underfoot more than her mother would like.
- Shula's attempt to use her "feminine ways" somehow goes awry and lands her in a situation she'll need help out of.
Daddy, or Mama's girl? Shula respects both her parents equally; Azar for her dedicated ways and Khin'del for what she sees as wisdom.
Personality: From a young age, Shula will exude confidence and a feeling of stability. She has no qualms about approaching pride members, asking questions, and observing the going-ons of the pride to better understand it -- so long as her mother doesn't tell her she's meddling, at least.
She'll not only gain, but build knowledge early on, taking pride in what she knows and beaming at the concept of learning more. There will be a lot of "Why?" for her parents to answer, and they will generally be matters that directly effect her home and her family. For example, she wouldn't ask why the sky is blue, but would inquire about Nur.
As she ages, Shula becomes invested in combat, but far from the point of becoming a savage brute. From her mother, she learns determination in the face of hardship; from her father, the understanding that patience can be as deadly as force when utilized efficiently. Her thirst for action, combined with her humility, will serve Shula well in becoming a guard where one need be both observant and steadfast.
Throughout life she will look to improve herself, and the only thing stopping her from becoming rigid in this pursuit is a new question. She will stop asking "Why?" and start asking instead "Is this working?" If not, she will abandon a prior strategy with no love lost and seek out another way, never to be anchored by futile methods thanks to stubbornness.

Daddy, or Mama's girl? Neither. She doesn't lean towards either parent simply because that means choosing a favorite, to which she says 'no'.
Personality: Ilan isn't... The one seeking a fight, nor does she turn them away. Many accuse her of lacking personality because she's very calm and quiet... This isn't true. She's very even, and her family is important. She's unable to play favorites, causing conflict if some think a sibling or family member is crackers... It's just... Noit a possibility. She's one to think, to observe, to learn. She acknowledges Nur's death as sad but accepts it happened and doesn't linger on it, however if given chance she would respect it.
She isn't very huggy at all, but far from unaffectionate. She's reserved and careful, often allowing siblings to error to learn from them; however should kind be in danger, she will try to help and protect them. Some claim her emotionless... And would be wrong. Her reserved behaviour simply makes her very emotionally restrained, and she's not one to avoid others at all, even if they never know she's there.

Meaning: flames of black (if you put the “of” in there)
Future Rank: Guard
Personality: Houri is always striving to do her best. If she fails, she gets up and tries again, even if it is unlikely that she will succeed. She has a “practice makes perfect” attitude and is quite strict on herself. However, she has little patience for constructive criticism, taking it as a bit of a personal affront rather than something that will help her to improve if it comes from anyone but her parents. Later in her life this will probably be toned down a bit once she learns that not everyone is out to make her feel bad. She also will try to help others if she sees them failing, giving them words of encouragement and trying to strive them to do their best, but at times may go a bit overboard and seem overbearing.
If she believes there is a problem between her and another firekin or within her family, rather than letting it stay in the shadows, she would rather talk, or even fight, the other to try and solve the existing situation, because if one has underlying issues with another, that will be more likely to effect them when it comes to another issue or while on the job. While she doesn’t want to be on the front lines like a soldier, she still wants to be active in doing something for the pride. While she considers being a civilian or other non-fighting jobs important, those are just not the ones she would consider, but if she is told to do other duties besides those of her rank, she will not fight against it.
When it comes to her family, she is on good terms with them. She is loyal to both of her parents and is as friendly as she can be with her siblings. While she may not be close to her older siblings, she is on good speaking terms with them (as much as she can be at least). When she’s older she’ll make more of an effort to get to know them. She prefers her mother a bit over her father in that she doesn’t want to use her femininity to get her way, she would prefer to get it through her own merit rather than how she was born. Otherwise she loves both of her parents, heeding their words and trying to learn the best she can from them.
When it comes to fighting, she would prefer verbal over physical spars. She doesn’t see the need in hurting another when one can use their brains rather than their brawn. This however doesn’t mean that she is against physical sparring, she would just prefer verbal. She also enjoys watching the matches between others.

Response Houri scrunched up her face again after learning that one of her older siblings would be watching out for her and her litter mates. Again. She was getting a bit annoyed with this problem that had been building up. She had heard the rumors, that there might be a war. It was a bit unsettling wondering if her mother or father would return later. She was always assured that they would, that nothing had started yet, but she was still on edge. It was made even worse with other relatives taking care of her and the others. They couldn’t quite teacher her what she felt she needed like with her mother and father. She couldn’t even practice with how she was feeling. Nervousness and uneasiness made it hard for her to concentrate, and she was becoming more and more annoyed with herself that she continued to mess up. No one was there to event try to correct her, or at least it seemed that way.
She couldn’t understand either, why both of her parents kept returning and going, switching with each other or family members. Were they training? She didn’t quite now how wars worked, but she figured that at least those who were to fight in it were supposed to be gone for a long time, maybe not even making it back. But her parents kept returning, and while she felt relief at their presence and irritation when they left again, she had wondered a bit what war was about. But all she could figure out for now was that it had not quite started, and that her parents were helping to prepare for it, should it come.
She knew her parents, if the war were to come, would fight. And it probably wouldn’t be just playful spars. They would be hurt a lot more, some forever disappearing. She considered it a great deal, and had wondered if she could do it. Could she be a fighter? She decided she could (would was not an option if one were forced) do it, but it would be rather hard. And she definitely couldn’t do it if someone or others depending on her. And only if she were ready. She knew she couldn’t fail in a fight, if she did she might be hurt quite badly. While some situations would be unavoidable, those that could have been gotten out of but weren’t because of her own mistakes, if it were serious she wouldn’t be able to forgive herself.
She huffed again before decided to lie down for a nap. If she couldn’t practice she could at least conserve her energy. She appreciated that her parents were quite caring and were most likely doing everything they could, she thought it would be better if at least just one of them stayed behind. Then her training would be more consistent and she could see where she needed to improve or where she was making a mistake. But that didn’t seem possible right now, so all she could do was wait until one of them came home again.

Future Plot ideas: She will train to become a water-seeker as an adol but her dream is to become a tracker. She will be learning all the water-seeker training she can get and anything extra that will help her to achieve her dream as a tracker. I also see her growing in her personality when she fails at a task and learns that failure isn’t the end of the world.

Personality: Miako is an adventurous girl with a passion for what she loves. She is fearless of the desert and eager to explore every edge of it. She has an optimistic view on most everything and doesn’t tend to believe in failure. She’s very headstrong when it comes to what she wants and will never give up on getting it. She is respectful when it comes to interacting with others but she refuses to be pushed over and used. When it comes to battle she is not afraid to use her claws and is always willing to learn a new technique for battle from an elder who is willing to teach her. Having such a large family her views on a future family for herself is the bigger the better. She dreams to someday have a mate just like her mom and have lots of cubs so she can teach them the ways of the desert and what it means to be of the firekin.
